Steve let Tony have the keys once he was sure the girls were inside okay.

"So what do you think we should do about the Romans?" he asked once they were headed back to the Tower. "Should we try to find Thor?"

Tony was quiet for a moment, thinking it over. "We may as well. I can see if Fury has any way to track him." He shrugged as he started driving.

"Alright," Steve said. "You take care of that. See if we can get Thor into contact with these Romans, somehow."

Tony nodded. "As soon as I find the big lughead I'll talk to him about it." He shrugged, heading back to the Tower.

Steve nodded and settled in for the ride. He had to go back to the tower for his motorcycle before he could go to his apartment.

Tony parked in his normal spot before he got out, stretching. "I'll let you know if I find Thor," he said. "If not, we'll figure it out tomorrow."

"Alright," Steve replied, taking his leather jacket out of the car and slipping it on. "Either way, I'll see you tomorrow, then."

Tony nodded. "Try not to get too distracted thinking about Elaine," he teased with a grin, heading for the back entrance he generally used when he was by himself.

"Oh shut up," Steve retorted as he dug out the keys to his bike. He wasn't going to admit that maybe Tony had a point. Nope, definitely not going to think about that.

Tony just snickered and gave up on him for the moment, heading inside to go check up and see if he could find Thor.

He had the feeling it was going to be a long night.

Instead of settling in when he got back to his apartment, Steve changed into sweats and pulled out a new punching bag. He didn't feel like sleeping, and he needed to think a bit.

It took Tony until almost midday the next day to find Thor. It turned out Fury's tracking system wasn't nearly as accurate as he thought it was.

Then he finally found Thor and he grumbled, making his way over to Thor.

"Where the hell have you been and why do you not have your cell phone?"

"Cell phone?" Thor asked, looking a bit puzzled. Reaching into his pocket, he pulled it out. "You mean this little device? It kept buzzing and I could not figure out why before it seemed to give up." He poked at it a bit. "It no longer lights up, either."

Tony took it and blinked. "What did you do to it?! This was the best one I could get!" He glowered briefly at Thor before starting to tinker around to see if anything was salvageable.

"I did nothing," Thor said mildly. He paused for a moment. "Although, perhaps it might have been that minor static squall..." He looked briefly contemplative.

Tony sighed. "I'm just going to make you one," he muttered. He hadn't wanted to because buying one was so much easier but clearly Thor needed something a little more durable. "Alright, let's go get Steve so we can plan."

"Plan?" Thor repeated. This was new, he hadn't heard anything about a plan. "You realize I am still accompanying my brother."

"I know. We'll just have to bring him along." Although Tony didn't look happy about that. "The girls came up with a few plans for us to try, to see if we can catch who's behind all the madness."

"I see," Thor replied. "And what solutions have been offered?"

"Putting up bait and getting you to talk to them. Elaine and Kae think the ones responsible are Cupid and Venus, so they figured you could talk to them since you're all gods."

Thor was quiet for a moment, running through the names he knew.

"They seem familiar," he offered at last. "Although I do not know them personally."

"Well, you better get to know them," Tony said with a shrug. "Get your brother and let's go."

Thor just raised an eyebrow, but went to find Loki. Best not to leave his brother to his own devices for too long, anyways.

Loki was still sort of wandering around, taking in the sights and looking around, his eyes bright and curious about these humans.

"Brother," he greeted. "These humans are curious in their habits."

"Indeed they are, brother," Thor replied, nodding. "Come, it is time to go. There will be other humans for you to watch."
