Bruce nodded and helped Kae to her feet.

"Yeah," Elaine agreed, smiling a bit. She snuggled into his arms a bit more and put her head on his shoulder.

Kae walked with him back to his room and settled down on his bed happily enough.

Steve smiled and held her there, making a mental note to make reservations somewhere for the two of them. Because that really needed to happen now.

Bruce let Kae settle down first, and then settled down with her, pulling her close.

"There," he said. "Much better than the Hulk room."

After a few minutes, Elaine reluctantly let go.

"I should probably let you get back to training," she said.

"Much better," Kae agreed with a little grin, relaxing there. "Much softer."

"No, I'm done for today," Steve said quietly. "Why don't we go get a snack and then see about finding a place to go for a weekend?"

"Good," Bruce said. He pulled her close and started gently rubbing her belly again.

"I like that plan," Elaine said, smiling a bit.

Kae smiled a bit and let him. She'd noticed he liked to do that. But she wasn't going to stop him this time.

Steve grinned and walked with her up to the kitchen to find a snack for them.

"So do you know yet if it's a boy or a girl?" Bruce asked quietly after a moment.

Elaine went with him, sitting at the counter and letting him root around the kitchen. She wasn't really picky about what he usually pulled down to snack on.

"I haven't asked yet," Kae said quietly. "I wasn't sure if you wanted to know beforehand."

Steve ended up making a few peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for them, handing one over to her before sitting on the counter next to her to snack.

"I don't mind either way," Bruce replied. "If you want to know, then ask. If not, I can wait."

"Thanks," Elaine said, taking the sandwich. "So Thor and Loki should be back in a few days. "I'm thinking we can take off after that."

Kae nodded. "I think I'll wait, then," she said, settling in with him there.

"Sounds like a good plan," Steve agreed. "Any ideas where you want to go?"

"Alright," Bruce said. He let her get comfortable and settled in as well.

"Surprise me," Elaine said, grinning a bit.

Kae yawned briefly, relaxed enough to take a little nap there.

Steve blinked before he grinned. "Alright," he agreed. "I'll think of something."

Bruce just let her sleep. He knew she needed the rest.

Elaine finished her sandwich and sighed a bit, just relaxing for a moment. It felt good not to have to worry about Bruce anymore.

Steve enjoyed the quiet while he ate, already thinking of places they could go on their little vacation. So far he'd had a few ideas.

It only took two days for Thor and Loki to get back from Asgard. Elaine was glad they were back; she really wanted to take off with Steve for a few days. They needed some time for just the two of them.

Once they got back, Steve got packed up so he and Elaine could go. He hadn't told her where they were going, so he just told her what she needed to pack.

Elaine was curious as she packed her things. Most of it was the basics, though, so she couldn't make any guesses as to where they were going.

"Ready?" Steve asked, taking his bag and slinging it over his shoulder as he moved over to her.

Elaine nodded, lifting her own bag.

"So where are we going that I needed to pack a nice dress and shoes?" she asked.

"You'll see." Steve smiled and took her bag, heading down to the garage to load everything up into a car so they could get going.

Elaine grinned and let him take her bag. She knew he was showing off just a little, but she didn't mind.

"Taking a car instead of your bike?" she asked. "I guess we're going a ways, then."

"It's more comfortable for both of us," Steve agreed with a little smile. He started driving, heading out of the city and going south.

"True," Elaine said as she settled into her seat. "Still not going to tell me where we're going?" she teased.

Steve just grinned at her and kept driving for a while, driving past DC and heading into Manassas. He parked in front of a hotel.

"It's quieter here than staying in DC."

"We're spending the weekend in DC?" Elaine asked. "Well, visiting DC?" She grinned. "I hope you know I'm dragging you to the Smithsonian. And the Library of Congress."
