Ichijo walks around the empty dorm making sure everything was ready for the new students. He was still the vice president but he wasn't sure if the headmaster would make him president. After all Ichijo wasn't a pureblood like Kaname was. It felt weird that his friend won't be coming back. Kaname was probbly having a good life with Yuuki. But no matter what the school was reopen with new students both in the day and night class. Maybe this year would be boring unlike last year at lease the school was repaired from the battle. And he was ok to no one didn't expect that he was alive after attacking his uncle. But he was alive and well.

Ichijo walking downstairs fixing his uniform while moving into the living room. He sat down on the couch as he picks up a book to read for an while. He would be waiting to see if any new students would show up. And also to hear if there was going to be another pureblood to be president or he would be president. There was no chance he could contral the vampires so maybe there would be another pureblood join. Plus hoping he would get along with the new president.

This was the first time his parents finally decide to let him go to Cross academy cause it had the best marks in their school. But there had been rumors that Kiro heard about that the acadey had vampires. Not that he believe but he was curious as there was a memory from his childhood that he saw one before. Kiro sighs deeply and shakes his head while carrying his bags up the flight of steps to the school. He fixes his day class uniform while he looks around the grounds. It was so big and confusing from which way to go to the dorms.

He sighs deeply he had wish he gotten map of this place. He walk to the water fountain in the middle of the grounds and sits down to take a rest. "Man I will never get used to this place..." he says to himself while looking around alittle.

Cross Academy. Amaya glared at it, as though a dirty look directed at the school would make it cease to exist. She didn't want to be here. But her parents had been firm. They were busy, what with the Hunter Society being in such disarray, and that meant no time for them to mentor her.
"They should've just let me join the society," she muttered, although she'd had this argument many times, and they'd continued to be adamant on this. The usual arguments - she wasn't old enough, she wasn't experienced enough, they didn't want her involved on all that conflict, she still had to have an education.
Cross Academy had a good reputation, produced excellent students, and the acting headmaster was a well-known vampire hunter that her parents knew and trusted - Yagari Touga. And as she walked towards it, carrying her bags over her shoulder, Amaya loathed it.

Hikari, Kari to those that she allowed close, looked forward as she carefully approached Cross Academy. The sun was down and the night air was cool against her skin. She took in a deep breath, feeling the air rush into her body and smiled slightly. How she loved the night, loved the stillness, loved the shadows. A grim smile pulled at the corners of her lips at teh last thought. She had hunted before coming to Cross academy. She could survive on blood tablets but every now and then it never hurt to have a little fun. Besides she didn't kill the ones she fed from. That would just be barbaric. No she fed and left them soon after, letting them come to their own conclusions about what happened. She was always careful not to leave any signs of a vampire being responsible of course but there was always a chance that the hunters would be onto her so she always took great care with her chosen targets. Here it would be different though. She would be expected to survive on blood tablets...

She put taht thought from her mind for the moment as she reached the dorm where she would be staying while attending Cross Academy. It was a large building and she wondered how many of their kind there would be. Well she was about to find out. Pushing a silver lock of hair behind her ear to keep it out of the way she reached up and opened the door, stepping into teh finely furnished room. There was another sitting on the couch, reading a book. She debated whether or not to approach before deciding that if he wanted to talk he could approach her.

Ichijo heard someone in the living room. He looks up from the book sencing another there before looking at the girl. Placing the book down on the chair before standing up. "Oh welcome..." moving around the table and slowy moves over. "I'm vice president, Takuma Ichijo" He brushes back some of his blonde hair from his face. "I was wondering if we was going to get any new members. Some of our old members left last year not sure if they will return." shrugged anyway. He felt kinda silly for doing the talking but it was just a habit normally the president of the Moon dorms would do all the talking. If they had one clearly they would needed a new one to contral the other vampires in the dorms.

Kiro stretches alittle before he stands up. He looks around noticing some new students coming in. From what they look they had to be in the day class. So he grabs his bags and stands up to follow them to the day dorms. Along the way he notice a girl who didn't look like she wanted to be here. Shaking his head abit when he watches the headmaster come out of the headmaster's building and moving over to the girl. Kiro went on and goes to the dorms to unpack and settle down.

Headmaster Cross pushes his glasses while he looks at Amaya "Amaya I'm so glad you could make it. We been need another guardian here since the ones from last year are now gone." he says calmy while looking at the girl.

"Guardian? You mean, to keep the vampires in order."
Well, that would make things more interesting. It wasn't exactly as exciting (or useful, in her view) as hunting down level Es with her parents, but at least it was better than just sitting around taking classes. And she supposed that someone had to do it. Vampires, especially young ones living in such proximity with humans, could be unruly. Amaya didn't hate vampires, but after seeing first hand the things they were capable of, she rarely let her guard down around them. At least the Pureblood was gone. Aristocrats she could deal with, but Purebloods... Not so much. So high and mighty all the time, believing themselves above all the rules.
The Headmaster explained what being a Guardian involved. Basically she had to be there at the gates of the Moon Dorm when the Night Class came out, and then also patrol the school grounds to make sure the vampires were behaving themselves. Amaya raised an eyebrow. Sounded like she would have little sleep - if any. But it never occurred to her to refuse. She had been taught from a young age that if there was work that needed doing, you do it. Particularly if vampires are involved. Where there were vampires, human lives were in danger.

"A pleasure," Hikari drawled, glancing at teh blonde again before stepping past him. She did not have any desire to interact with him at the moment. She had just arrived and would prefer to settle in before beginning interactions with the others of her kind here. She was not exactly thrilled to be in such close proximity with her own kind but at least they were in an area full of humans. Perhaps she would fine one that wouldn't mind being bitten now and then. She smirked internally at the thought before nodding to the blonde again and heading upstairs. She had been told where her room was located and found it easily enough. Unpacking was the first thing on her to-do list and she began to carefully placing her clothes in the wardrobe before examining the uniform she would be expected to wear. She frowned at the colour. She preferred black, like the day class would wear, but there was nothing for it. At least it wasn't as hideous as it could have been. That was definitely a plus. It was actually quite tasteful and on teh whole wouldn't be too difficult to wear.

She sighed to herself before quickly changing into teh uniform. She might as well get used to wearing it now that she was on school grounsd. She supposed that because it was her first night at teh school taht she would not be expected to attend classes. She would spend the time familiarising herself with the grounds and general layout of the place.

Ichijio looks at her and sighs deeply. He had a feeling this was going to be a interesting year. Watching Hikari go upstairs to settle down he figure he better head out and talk to the headmaster. Ichijo walks out of the dorms into the cool night air. It was nice to be back even after everything that happen. The blonde walks away from the Moon dorms and heads past the gates lucky there was no classes today cause all the new students. So everyone was probbly still in their dorms settling down and stuff for the year.

Kiro yawns stretching alittle moving over to the window. He wasn't tired and with him it would be hard to sleep anyway. So he decide head out only knowing that the rules say he would need to stay inside at night. Not sure why thought but what could possible hurt if he went outside. There was no way he could sleep being tommarrow was the beganning of classes but he wanted to check out the place. It was very large so maybe finding out where everything was would make it better when he goes to classes in the morning.

After dumping her things in her new room, Amaya went out to check out the grounds. The Headmaster had told her that she didn't have to start her Guardian duties right away, but she didn't see what else there was to do. She hadn't spoken yet to her roommate - the girl had been on the phone when she brought her luggage to their room. Amaya figured they might get along... as long as they gave each other plenty of space.
The air outside was fresh and cool. Despite the intentions she'd had of completely hating this school, she had to admit that both the buildings and the grounds were aesthetically pleasing. And well kept too. She wondered who managed the grounds.
Her thoughts were interrupted as she heard the sound of someone walking towards her.

Hikari was aware of hte human before the human was aware of her, of that she was certain. The human was a female and didn't appear to be much but appearances were all too often deceiving so she didn't allow herself to be fooled. Instead of continuing to walk she leapt up into a tree and sat on a branch, leaning against the tree. One leg was bent towards her chest with her foot planted on the branch while the other leg dangled to the side, a completely relaxed and comfortable position. She looked down as she heard the human come nearer and decided to wait and see if the human noticed her presense.

It was curious. What day class student would be out this time of night? Classes didn't officially start until tomorrow so perhaps this was a case of a student sneaking out to better familiarise themselves with the grounds like she herself was doing. Something seemed...different about this one though. She seemed to walk with a fighter's gait, definitely trained in some form of combat. Whether that form was effective against a vampire such as herself was yet to be seen.

Ichijo head to the headmaster office to talk to him about things. When the headmaster told him that he would be president which the aristocrat was happy to take. But he wasn't sure if he could handle the other vampires in the dorm like a pureblood was. Ichijo was only a level B..far from being a pureblood but he did have a temper that some didn't know about. So he was sure he would be able to manage. Plus hearing there was a new guardian that was someone he had to meet. Thanking the headmaster, Ichijo leaves the office and looks around abit. He soon heads toward before sencing the vampire hoping she was going to stay out of trouble.

Kiro fixes his uniform which was his favorite color anyway. Black almost matching his mood alittle. Kiro walks not really paying attention cause there was alots of tree roots sticking out of the ground. Kiro would falls over scraping his leg alittle. "Ouch...damn it I'm so clumsy sometimes." he mumbles to himself. He stands up and pushes his pant leg up it was bleeding alittle bit.

Amaya sensed the vampires before she saw them. Years training in a vampire hunting family had honed her ability to sense vampires, and to tell them apart from humans. There were no classes tonight, so why were there vampires out on the grounds? Her fingers tightened around one of her hunter blades as she turned to face the one in the tree.
"What do you want, vampire?"
As someone who didn't generally hate vampires, Amaya tried to keep an open mind and not pick fights unnecessarily. But sometimes you had to act menacing to discourage them - especially young ones. That said, Amaya wouldn't mind a fight. She was still feeling frustrated at being dumped in this school, and would welcome a chance to vent.

"Now, now," Hikari chided gently, looking down at the human from her vantage point. So the other knew what she was. Interesting. She must be oe of the gardians she had been told about, the students from teh day class that were aware of the existance of vampires and were charged with keeping her kind away from the humans and in line. Well this one would not have it easy. Hikari liked to do what she liked when she liked and if others' didn't like it...well they would soon learn or find themselves dealing with quite a tempermental vampire.
"Is there really a need for such rudeness? Here I am, minding my own business andnot even a 'hello, nice to meet you'. A bit anti-social, wouldn't you say?" She aimed carefully before jumping from the branch, landing in front of teh human but keeping her posture relaxed, non-confrontational. She did not want to provoke a fight at the moment. Although it would be interesting to see what the human was capable of she would rather wait and see what the other's initial reaction was to her words. Her nostrils flared as she caught teh slight scent of blood on the wind but she had already fed tonight so ignored it for teh moment.

Ichijo heard voices from the girls and sighs deeply. He walks towards it before he came into view of the girls. "Please don't fight already ladies." says. He catched the sence of blood in the air and knew that was stiring up the vampires alittle. His eyes glows lightly but lucky he fed eariler. Ichijo looks around abit to see which way the sence was coming before he looks back over to the girl. "You must be the new guardian Headmaster Cross told me about." says. Looking at the fiery girl. She look like she wanted to fight.

"Then you must be Ichijo Takuma, the Night Class dorm President," said Amaya, inclining her head. She'd heard of him. Also she'd heard of his grandfather. Ichijo Asato, or Ichio, had been one of the most powerful and influential vampires in the senate - until his grandson had killed him. Ichijo himself didn't look nearly as intimidating as his late grandfather, but Amaya didn't let that fool her. He was most likely very powerful. Her grip on her blade eased slightly, but she didn't let go of it. Her weapons were throwing knives, especially designed to kill vampires. She also had a tanto to use for close combat, but she didn't use it as often.
"There are no classes yet. What business do you have on the grounds?" Amaya addressed the other vampire, who had come down from the tree.

"I am simply aquainting myself with the grounds," Hikari replied mildly. "As a new student I am well within my rights to do so, am I not?" she turned to Ichijo and looked at him, tilting her head in a show of innocence. "Isn't it what all new students do, after all? The humans just do it in the comfort of the day whereas I do it at night. What could possibly be the harm in that?"
She gave a sigh, glancing from the human to teh otehr vampire and back again. "If my presense is unsettlign then I shall depart. There is far more to this school taht I have not seen and I would rather travel alone." So saying Hikari turned and jumped up into a tree, figuring that it would be easier to avoid the human if she did so. She began to move from branch to branch, easily moving between trees, almost dancing from branch to branch. It was a lot of fun doing this and she relished the thrill it gave her. There was another reason she had for departing. That smell of blood. She had to know where it came from.

Ichijo looks over at Amaya before looking over at Hikaru. He knew he had to watch those two mainly keeping Hikaru under contral here. "She is right..Hikaru is a new student she is aloud to be out during the night..unlike the day time students. They aren't aloud to be out during the night time unlike us." says calmy. He could tell there was a human close by from the sence of blood in the air. It was true he was now the night class president but he still thought a pureblood would be better. But anyway he was almost as powerful like pureblood so he would be able to keep the vampires in the night class under contral. He looks back over at the new guardian looking at her hair almost made him think about Zero who left during the summer time. "Its funny..you have the same kind of attuide as the last guardian."

Kiro sighs deeply lucky he had a cloth in his pocket and wraps it around his leg. Lucky his pants didn't rip which was good since theses uniforms didn't come cheap. Kiro stands up and brushes himself off before he stretches alittle. It was agaisnt the rules for him to be out but he was always breaking the rules one way or another. It was strange how this school works but he was just have to get used to it. Plus it was much better than going to a public school back home anyway. Kiro walks over and leans against the tree and stares up at the sky.

"You mean Kiryu Zero? We're third cousins twice removed," said Amaya. Most hunter clans were related, but despite that she'd only actually met Zero a few times, and that was when they were both somewhat younger. She'd heard about him though. Well, what hunter hadn't?
She glanced in the direction Hikari had gone. "Even if she is allowed out here, would it not be best to keep an eye on her? It is my job. And yours too I suppose." She wasn't really sure what was in the job description of "Dorm President", but it was probably similar in a way to her own as a guardian: Keep the night class out of trouble.

Hikari smirked as she came upon the human. He was wrapping up his leg with a bit of cloth carefully so maybe he'd fallen. Either way it was clear he was the source of the blood she was smelling. She breathed in deeply, savouring the smell. She was so close she could almost taste the blood on her tongue the smell was so strong. Her eyes began to turn red, darkening from their normal light amathyst but she forced it down. now was not the time. It was too early.

"Hey!" she called from her position standing on a tree branch. "Should you be out at this time of night? You're a day class student aren't you?" She did a quick jump and twisted in mid air, doing a quick flip before landing in a crouch on the ground. She stood up, brushing hair out of her face and smiled at teh human invitingly.

Ichijo looks over at the guardian "Yes it is my job to look after those who are in the moon dorm. After all I am president." guessing he better go after her just to keep her out of trouble. Since there was a human that didn't need to be out here anyway. "Yea you have the same kind attuide as Zero..hardly can tell you are cousins." shrugged alittle. He chuckles gently and place his hands into his pocket "But yea I think I should go after Hikaru to make sure she keeps out of trouble. While you take care of the human who is out there." turns on his heels and after Hikaru. He knew some would be hard to handle but they had to be kept in line around the human students.

Kiro hearing a females voice he turns aound and looks at the girl. He blinks at the girl when she fliped down and land on the ground. From the looks of the girl's uniform she would happen to be from the night class. "I couldn't sleep so I decide to come out here for some fresh air..beside classes don't start until tomarrow anyway. So I thought it wouldn't hurt." shrugged. He pulls himself off the ground and stands up despise the pain in his leg. "And yea I am from the day class."

There was a human out on the grounds? And Hikari had... That wasn't good. Renewing her grip on her blade, Amaya hurried after Ichijo. Was every night at Cross Academy going to be like this? She wondered whether that would be good or bad. It would be rather dull if all the vampires actually behaved themselves... though she did feel guilty for thinking it.
She didn't actually plan on killing any vampires here though. That was what she'd been trained to do by her family, but she had still been quite touched by the belief the headmaster clearly had that pacifism was the right way. She didn't want to ruin that. But if a vampire attacked her then she would show no mercy.

"I thought as much," Hikari smiled. She gave a quick bow to the human, casual but not quite mocking. Her light pink, bordering on red, eyes were sparkling with mischief as she looked at the human. As humans went he wans't too bad, dark hair and eyes accented by the night with a slim build...definitely a potential candidate. "It's nice to meet you. I'm a member of the night class and I was merely...surprised to see someone else out here. How did you slip past the prefects?" She was careful to use the term prefects rather than gardians since, really, the day class students thought that hat was all they were. You could hardly explain to the masses that the selected students had the job of keeping the vampires also attending their school at bay.

The smell of blood was so close...so tempting...but she didn't, not yet anyway. She'd fed only recently and so wasn't as strongly affected as she could have been. The close proximity was causing her instincts to stir though and she could feel her canines lengthening even as she fought them back down. Now was now the time. Soon but there was another vampire and a human around so she would not risk it, not yet anyway.

Ichijo heads knowing Amaya was following him probbly to make sure the vampire didn't do anything to the human. He sighs deeply even thought knowing Hikaru had fed. If there was blood in the air it most certainly cause up another fed. And that was the last thing he wanted to happen. Taking on the role of night class president he had to feel some big shoes left by Kaname. But he could manage since after all he took care of his grandfather. Ichijo moves over and looks at Hikaru before looking over at the boy "You should really head back to the dorms before the guardian finds you..." looking at the boy.

Kiro looks at Hikaru and shrugged "I have my ways" chuckles alittle. He would looks up hearin the male and rolls his eyes. "Your not the boss of me go away." says coldly. He didn't like to be told to do even by another student.

Ichijo sighs deeply and shakes his head "If you don't I will tell Headmaster Cross..I'm just looking out for people that are in my dorm..and right now you are kinda in danger." says calmy as Ichijo wasn't the type to loose his temper. But he could get very firm if someone was out here especialilty a human that didn't need to be out here at night. "Beside classes start tomarrow in your class..you really should need to get some rest and also get better bandage on that leg."

Kiro sighs guessing he was right before standing up. "Alright already..." before looking at Hikaru. "Nice talking to you..oh and my name is Kiro...Kiro Sano." Says before turning around and heads back to the dorms. He then wonder how Ichijo knew about the cut on his leg but didn't think about it to long.

"I'll escort him back," said Amaya to Ichijo. "He's my responsibility - she's yours." She nodded her head towards Hikari and ran after the boy who'd called himself Kiro Sano. He had a bloody cut on his leg, and it was possible that there were more vampires about. This was one of the reasons that Amaya thought it silly that the government did not let it be outwardly known that vampires exist - humans would be more careful if they did. She imagined that this wouldn't be the last time a day class student would sneak out. She wondered if she'd be getting any sleep this year, being the only guardian. If only the headmaster could get her a partner... or three or four.
"I'm Amaya, day class prefect," she said when she caught up with Kiro. "I'll go with you back to the dorm."

"I'll see you another time then, Kiro-kun!" Hikari called after the human. She glared at the female human's back, Amaya if she had heard right (which she was pretty sure she had) as the other made sure the male human got back to his dorm. What a shame. It had been so close.....She turned and fixed her glare on Ichijo, eyes narrowing to almost slits as she stepped closer to the other vampire.

"And why....." she all but purred, her voice low and dangerous as a winter wind before a blizzard. "Did you interupt me, Ichijo-san?" The use of the honorific was so sarcastic it was almost impossible to put more force behind it if she'd tried. "I was merely talking with a fellow student was I not? I was fully in control. There was no need for you to interfere." It was true. She had had no intentions of feeding from the human, not tonight anyway and not for a while but now...she might up her timeline just to spite this vampire and the human female for interupting her.

The headmaster goes over the paper work on the new students. But something caught his eye on this Kiro kid. "Huh? thats interesting....no wonder why I accepted him..I need to talk to this kid...there is no way Amaya can do this alone." says. Figuring it was late he would take to Kiro first thing in the morning before he goes to class.

Ichijo looks at Hikaru crosses his arms over his chest as he looks at the female. "Because knowing he had a cut and bleeding it doesn't change it. We may have some contral doesn't mean we are still tempted. Beside you need to take blood tablets..you can't feed from humans. And it is my job as dorm president to make sure you and the others are under contral." says calmy before he starts walkin back to their dorm. "Come its late..the sun will rise soon.." looking over at Hikaru.

Kiro stops looking over at the perfect and rolls his eyes "Whatever...I'm a big boy I can handle going back to the dorms by myself." says coldly. He thoughti t would be fun going here but it looks like it will be the same way at home...Where was all the fun and action he wanted. Kiro sighs deeply and place his hands into his pocket and heads to the dorms.
