Rachel nodded.
"Alright," she said. "Let me let Killian know that I'll be dropping by there, and I'll meet you. Sound good?" |
Tina nodded. "Sounds good," she agreed. She headed back for the castle, though she let Gold set the pace.
Hook had watched them go and shook his head a bit. He needed some time to relax after the trip. Although they had gotten away relatively easily. |
"Hey," Rachel said, going back over to Killian. "I'm going back with Tina for a bit so she can change real quick, and then she's going with me to the market. Is there anything you want me to get while I'm there?"
Hook considered for a few moments. "We should get some food," he said. "Some non-perishables and some fruits. If you feel like doing some actual shopping." He grinned a bit.
"I think I can handle that," Rachel said, grinning a bit. "Anything in particular?"
"Whatever sounds good to you, and some oranges if they have some." Hook liked oranges, and they were citrus, so it worked.
Rachel nodded.
"Alright," she said. "I'll see what I can find." |
Hook nodded and pulled her over, hugging her. "Take as much time as you need," he murmured.
Rachel snuggled into the hug.
"I won't make you wait too long," she replied. |
"Good." Hook smiled a little and held her there for several moments before he reluctantly let her go.
Rachel gave him one more kiss, and then made her way down off of the ship to follow Tina and Gold.
By the time Rachel joined her, Tina had gotten Gold settled in and cleaned up, and she'd cleaned up herself. So she was just about ready to go.
Rachel couldn't help but take a moment to stare up at the high tower connected to one side of the castle as she got closer. She knew that tower. That had been her tower. The top of it was too high for her to be able to see into the window, but she got the feeling that nothing inside had changed much, and it gave her a bit of a sense of anxiety just thinking about it. Looking away, she hurried inside.
Tina heard her and looked over. "Hey," she greeted with a grin. "I see you made it without a problem."
"Yeah," Rachel said. She fidgeted with her hair briefly. "Saw the tower while I was outside. No wonder I didn't know there was a whole castle attached, the only window faces out the opposite way."
Tina nodded. "But you don't have to go up there again," she said encouragingly. "And for now we can head into town for some therapy."
"Let's go, then," Rachel said, brightening a bit. "Yay shopping~!"
Tina snickered and led the way out of the castle. Gold knew where she was going, so she just headed for town.
Rachel followed her.
"So what are your plans now?" she asked curiously as they walked. |
Tina shrugged. "Go back to tending my garden, make sure Gold recovers properly, bully him into resting when I have to..." She grinned teasingly.
Rachel couldn't help but laugh a little.
"Well, we all know who's in charge in that relationship," she teased. |
Tina blushed a bit but grinned. "He's much more subtle than I am. Not that wasn't glaringly obvious already."
Rachel grinned.
"At least he treats you well," she said. "He takes care of you." |
"He does," Tina agreed. "Although we both know I wouldn't be there if he was a jerk all the time."
"Right," Rachel said. "But still. I'm glad he takes care of you." She grinned teasingly. "Have you decided how you feel about him?"
