"Ready," Rachel said. She got up and followed Tina and Red out of the diner. She figured they had a better idea of where to go, since Red lived in town and Tina had talked to Gold.

As they got closer to the waterfront, she couldn't help but glance towards the docks, but they didn't get close enough for her to see the pirate ship that she was sure still floated there.

Tina let Red lead the way, and Red took them straight to the apartment building. After a quick, brief talk with the landlord, he took them up to see the apartment, which had two bedrooms (albeit small bedrooms), a bathroom, and a kitchen/living room.

"What do you think?" Tina looked at Rachel.

"I think it'll work," Rachel replied, exploring the bedrooms. The apartment was on a corner, so only one bedroom faced the water, but they were only on the second floor, so they weren't too high up. Rachel was grateful for that. "Think you'll be able to function with such a small kitchen?"

"I've worked with smaller," Tina said with a shrug. "Do you mind if I take the forest view room?" Because she rather liked the room and the view. The apartment was small, but the kitchen was functional and she could always make more counter space if she needed to.

"Sure, you can have it," Rachel replied. "I like the water view." She looked around. It was a good apartment. "So what say you? I like it."

"I like it too. It's nice." Tina looked at the landlord. "Does it come with the furniture?"

"For a small extra fee," the landlord said with a nod. "So... when do you want to move in?"

"As soon as possible," Rachel said. "We're staying at the hotel at the moment, so getting into the apartment soon would be nice." Under her breath, she added, "and thank god it's not a tower."

The landlord nodded. "Well, we can start the paperwork now, and I'll let you two move in tonight." He smiled. "I hope it's not a problem if I ask for a deposit either now or when you come back?"

Rachel glanced at Tina, although she personally didn't have a problem with it. She had enough to cover the deposit.

Tina nodded. "That's not a problem."

"Great. If you'll just come back downstairs with me we'll get started on the paperwork. Neither of you have pets, I presume?"

"No," Tina answered.

"Good, good." The landlord bustled out of the room and back down the stairs.

Rachel glanced at Tina and Red before following the landlord downstairs.

Red glanced around the apartment.

"At least it's not a tower," she commented.

"Yea, only one floor up," Tina commented helpfully. "Not bad at all. And it's a nice place. Maybe after we're through here I can run down to the store and get some baking things..."

"You like to bake?" Red asked, eyes gleaming a bit. "You should come by the diner and talk to Granny. She's as awesome with a mixer as she is with a crossbow."

Tina smiled a little. "Maybe I will," she agreed. "Cooking in general is good but I think I need to bake something for us, since we'll be moving in. Chocolate Comfort Cookies sound good to you, Rache?"

"They sound amazing," Rachel replied, grinning.

"No no no," Red said, "I meant that Granny can really bake." She grinned a bit. "They weren't completely wrong with the whole 'Red Riding Hood and her basket full of goodies' thing."

Tina snorted. "Well, when I've got some time, I'll go over and exchange notes and sneak away with a recipe or two."

"Granny's goodies are amazing," Red endorsed. She grinned. "I was always taking new stuff out to Snow's cottage, while she was there."

"Well then, I may have to see how many of her recipes I can get my hands on." Tina grinned as they headed back towards the hotel. "If she doesn't mind, anyway."

"You'll have to ask her. I'm no good at baking, so I bet she'll love to have someone around who's actually good at it." Red grinned. "I should be getting back, though, I don't want to be gone too long."

"Of course. Thanks, Red." Tina nodded to her before heading up the stairs to their rooms so they could gather their things and head back to the apartment.

"No problem," Red said. She waved. "Bye!"

Rachel waved back and followed Tina upstairs.

Tina helped carry their stuff down to the car, looking at it briefly.

"You know, I almost want to make a run back to our other apartment to gather up some things and make sure they're not about to evict us. I mean, we didn't plan to move here, so we don't have a lot of our things." She tapped her fingers against her thigh. "What do you think?"

"I think I was thinking the same thing not too long ago," Rachel admitted. "I mean... This town, as weird as it is... It's more comfortable than our other place. I wouldn't mind living here."

Tina nodded. "Well, I can handle things at the other apartment. Maybe you should stay and ask about the job at the sheriff's office for me? Start getting settled in and all that?"

"Are you sure you don't want me to help you with the moving?" Rachel asked.
