At the end of the movie, Rachel stretched and yawned a bit.

"Now," she commented, "compare Jack Sparrow to Willy Wonka. Same actor."

"Some similarities, but good acting," Hook said. "Not sure which of the two characters I prefer, but they are both amusing."

"Remind me to make you watch The Corpse Bride," Rachel commented. "Depp voice-acts in that. And there's a version of Alice in Wonderland where he plays the Mad Hatter."

"Sounds like he's done quite a few things," Hook said with a little grin. "It would be fun to watch those with you." He left it as a suggestion, so she could refuse if she wanted.

Rachel blinked and blushed faintly.

"Maybe," she said.

Hook smiled faintly and nodded, getting to his feet. "I should leave you to the rest of your evening," he said gently, not wanting to push too hard this first date.

Rachel nodded, still a bit pink.

"I guess I'll, um... I'll see you around, then," she said. She got up as well and went to get the door.

Hook was quiet for a moment. "Killian Jones," he said quietly, looking at her. "My name is Killian Jones. Hook is just a name I adopted a few years back."

"Adopted for obvious reasons, I suspect," Rachel replied, grinning just a little. "Killian. I like it."

Hook smiled a little and nodded, letting himself out. Well, that had gone rather well.

Rachel was still blushing a little even after he left. Then she texted Tina.

i think I like him and I don't know what to do.

Don't panic, Tina texted back. I'll be home soonish. Then we can talk about men, even if they are sometimes stubborn and infuriating and somehow still fun.

You night's going that well too, huh? Because Rachel hadn't said anything about Hook being infuriating and stubborn, so Tina must have been referring to Gold.

We're discussing gifts and deals and magic, Tina replied. How well do you think that's going? But Gold was getting better. He hadn't said anything about her personally, just general things.

Fun stuff. Rachel knew Tina would hear the sarcasm. We watched the fourth Pirates. And then Charlie and the Chocolate factory. And he's got a NAME. Like a real name. And god help me, Tina, I like it.

Well, things are getting more and more interesting, Tina agreed. Like I said, I'll be home soon, and then we can talk things out.

Alright. Rachel stretched a bit and set her phone aside, going to get ready for bed. She would wait up for Tina, though.

Tina managed to end the sort-of date on a good note, even though she still somewhat wanted to throttle him. She got the feeling that was going to be rather normal.

She did get back to the apartment at a decent hour, though.

Rachel heard Tina get back and looked up from her book.

"How'd it go?" she asked.

"Generally good." Tina smiled ruefully. "I mean, we argued, but it wasn't like last time where we ended up yelling at each other."

"If neither of you is pissed at the other, I'd call it a success," Rachel agreed, nodding.

Tina snickered and went to go flop on the couch. "So, Hook. What happened?"

"So we kind of had an agreement. I watch one of the Pirates movies with him and he would watch a different Johnny Depp movie with me to compare them," Rachel said. "I thought it would get him off my back for a while about the misconceptions about pirates. Except... He's really kind of funny and charming and I really kind of like him and I don't know why."

"Let's see, funny, witty, charming, good-looking..." Tina nodded. "Yeah, perfectly good reasons to like a guy."

"Except he's a pirate," Rachel pointed out. "He's the pirate."
