"So? Unless you see him doing a bunch of morally questionable things now, it can't be that much of an issue." Tina looked at Rachel.

"I know," Rachel said. "It's just... the principle of the thing."

"Okay." Tina shrugged. "Well, if you like him, try hanging out with him more. I mean, what can it really hurt?"

"I guess," Rachel said. She was still a little reluctant; she'd never had a real relationship before, so she had no idea what to do.

"Just give it time," Tina encouraged. "Think it through. If he's a bad guy, well, I have my flashlight, I can beat him up for you."

Rachel smiled just a little.
"I know you can," she said. She leaned over and hugged her. "Thanks."

"My pleasure." Tina returned the hug.
"Now, think on it for a bit, okay? We've got time." She smiled a little wryly at that.

Rachel nodded.
"This seems to be quite the situation we've gotten into," she commented with a bit of a grin.

"No kidding." Tina sighed. "I like a guy who can be the biggest dick in the world and plays with magic, and you like a pirate."

Rachel snickered.
"This is true," she said. "Although... he may play with magic, but I also think he might have taught me some?" It came out as an uncertain question.

"I don't know where you were," Rachel agreed. "I don't remember if it was before or after you showed up, but I remember the spinning wheel, and several quickly-melted candles."

Tina nodded. "Yeah, I remember the spinning wheel, although I saw it in his house. And yea it's a little odd that I remember his house."

"There was a house?" Rachel asked. "I didn't know that." All she had ever known was her tower, so she hadn't been aware of any other buildings there may have been.

"Yeah. I remember his house." Tina shook her head, a little wonderingly. "I don't think I was ever really supposed to see it, since he never invited either of us."

"I don't think invites were the problem," Rachel said dryly. "There was no door to the tower, remember? You went in and out through the big window, you climbed down."

"Yeah, so?" Tina grinned. "He uses magic, he could have floated either one of us down easily enough if he actually wanted one of us to see the house." She shrugged.

"Whatever, doesn't matter, still didn't know there was a house," Rachel said. "There was magic involved either way." She was quiet for a moment. "I think I remember some of it."

"Now that would be neat to try," Tina said with a grin. "But we should probably let Gold know before you try, just in case."

Rachel had to admit it was a good idea, but she wasn't entirely sure she wanted Gold to know how much she remembered, yet. It seemed a bit too personal, still.
"We'll see," she said. "If I ever decide I want to try."

Rachel was surprised at just how comfortable she was starting to get around Hook. She had invited him over a few more times since the movie night, although they didn't do more than watch more movies or discuss different fairy tale portrayals. This night was no different, even as Rachel ignored the faint thunder in the distance.

Hook ignored it as well, more focused on the movies and Rachel than the storm outside.
When it got loud enough that he could hear the rain pounding against the windows, though, he blinked and glanced at Rachel to make sure she was still fine.
Tina was over at Gold's shop again having dinner with him, and she glanced outside warily. She didn't like storms, although she didn't like them because she hated getting stuck out in them. Walking in the rain was fine, but getting stuck outside in a storm? Not so awesome.

Rachel glanced outside, though she could barely make out the lights of town through the rain. She wasnt' too terribly worried, though; storms never really bothered her.
Gold made note of the storm, although there was really nothing he could do about it. Magic against nature? Nature would win every time.

Seeing that Rachel was okay, Hook felt justified in settling back and going back to the movie, grinning at her briefly.
"So what's on the list after this?"
Tina shook off the storm after a minute, piling the plates neatly to the side. They were still in the back of Gold's shop, since he hadn't invited her to his house yet and she wasn't comfortable going to the diner with him (meaning she didn't trust him or the town not to start something).
