"No, not long." Hook grinned. "I'm glad you like your gift." He leaned back in his seat, unreasonably pleased.

Rachel blushed a bit more.

"I can't imagine how much it must be worth, so I try not to think about it," she admitted. "But I like it."

"Good." Hook smiled. "Now, I believe we agreed on lunch. My treat."

"You sure?" Rachel asked. "I can pay for my own, it's no problem..."

"Don't trouble yourself, it's no hardship." Hook grinned briefly. "You'll have to recommend something for me, though, I haven't actually eaten here often."

"If you're sure," Rachel said. She smiled a bit. "The burgers here are pretty good."

Hook nodded with a little grin, making a mental note to get one of those.

"I noticed your building looked a little weather-worn as I was leaving," he commented, looking at her. "Any leaks?"

"Not that I've noticed," Rachel replied, thinking. "Why?"

"Just making sure," Hook said with a shrug. "I'm sure you know how... inconvenient leaks can be."

And because he still, for some reason, wanted her to like him. More than she already did. But he wasn't looking at that too closely.

"I'm sure," Rachel replied. She looked at him. "Why the sudden interest?"

Hook shrugged. "Would not a friend show concern?" he asked, grinning at her.

"But the sudden concern for the roof of the apartment building?" Rachel asked, raising an eyebrow. "The excuse is a little thin."

Hook raised his hand defensively. "Fine, be suspicious all you want," he said, rolling his eyes and leaning back.

Rachel rolled her eyes, as well, and absently played with the gold medallion.

Hook was quiet through lunch, and he paid.

"You know, we got interrupted last night," he said. "I still haven't seen half the movies you've listed."

"You're right, we did," Rachel said. "What were we on, 2003 Peter Pan? We'll pick up with that one, then."

Hook nodded. "When should we watch that one?" Because his schedule was open, but she seemed to prefer to have him over when Tina was away.

"I might have to get back to you on that one," Rachel replied. She wasn't sure what Tina's plans were, and she wouldn't make her friend deal with the pirate while she was home.

Hook nodded. That was fair enough. He knew by now that she wasn't saying no, after all, so he could be patient.

Things fell into a sort of routine after that: Tina would spend Wednesdays and Fridays with Gold, and Rachel would have Hook over for movies and cuddling while Tina was gone. Rachel even managed to get Hook to actually sleep sometimes during the movie nights, and it was after one such night that she woke up to something very wrong.

Hook woke up and stretched. He was used to waking up on his ship, so he didn't think it was odd to have the gentle movement under him.

He did think it was odd after he remembered that he was supposed to be at the apartment. He opened his eyes and got up, looking around and pausing when he noticed Rachel there too.

Tina groaned quietly as she woke up, rough bark against her back. She sat up carefully, blinking and rubbing her eyes as she looked around. Okay, she knew the forest around the town really well by now, and this wasn't it.

Besides, Gold was in the grass below her, and that just didn't happen. "Gold?" she called carefully, shuffling over so she was leaning out to get a better look down to plot a path down the tree.

Rachel was oddly reluctant to get up. She was comfortable where she was, moreso than usual. And then she realized that her bed was swaying ever so slightly, and that made her open her eyes.

And she promptly shrieked and flailed all the way to the floor.

"Ah, you're awake," Gold commented, looking up at her. He seemed pleased. "I would say 'welcome home,' but, well, we're not there quite yet."

"Easy does it," Hook said, though he was trying not to grin at her flailing. "Calm down. We're just on my ship." He moved over easily to offer her a hand up. "Welcome aboard."

"Um? This is not outside Storybrooke," Tina said, staying up in the tree for a moment. Because really there was no easy way to get down and she was debating just jumping it.

"What's going on?" Rachel asked, accepting the help and getting to her feet. "This isn't where I fell asleep, and I know I don't sleep hard enough to have slept through being moved."

"Indeed it is not," Gold replied. "Lucky for us, Storybrooke is not the home to which I was referring."

"That is an excellent question, love," Hook said, heading out into the hall and then up a staircase. "Let's take a look shall we?"

He moved above deck and then paused, grinning when he realized where they were. Well, well. Somehow they'd gotten back to the other world.

Tina blinked several times at that, looking around with wide eyes. Okay. Now she just had to get down and not panic.

"Do me a favor and give me a minute." She scrambled over to the other side of the tree, eyeing the jump down. She ended up sliding half-way before dropping the last bit, brushing tree bark out of the shallow cuts on her palms.
