Gold came down the stairs steadily, with much less of a limp than before and wearing much more comfortable clothes.

"You could have gone to bed, you know," he commented as he went into the kitchen.

"I could have," Tina agreed mildly, curled up in a plush chair with a still-steaming mug of tea in her hands.

"Well, actually, maybe not."

"Oh?" Gold glanced at her as he used a small spell to heat up some of the soup. "I have some sleeping spells, if that's what you need."

"No, it's fine," Tina said, shaking her head. "I'll just stay up tonight, it's fine. As you know, it wouldn't be the first time I've stayed up."

"It would be better if you slept," Gold pointed out as he sat down with the bowl of soup. "Really, it would be no trouble to give you a mild sleeping spell."

"I'll think about it." Tina took a sip of her tea, tucking herself further into the chair. "You look like you're feeling better."

"I'm of the opinion there must be some sort of passive magic to hot springs," Gold replied with a slight grin.

Tina laughed quietly at that. "It wouldn't surprise me," she said with a grin. "Maybe I should go take a dip, settle my nerves before bed."

"Feel free," Gold replied, gesturing back towards the hot spring. "I will likely be up for a while, yet."

Tina snickered briefly. "And you scolded me for not going to bed," she teased with a grin.

"I still have a few things I'd like to do, yet," Gold pointed out with a slight grin. "I need to take stock of the items I took with me to face Cora and see which need to be replaced."

"Need any help with that?" Tina raised her eyebrows at him. Because she was partially curious and partially didn't quite want to leave his company yet. Okay maybe mostly just wanted to spend more time with him.

"Help? No, I have it under control," Gold replied. He was quiet for a second. "However, I would not terribly mind if you decided you wanted to watch."

Tina grinned and nodded. Hey, that was a fair enough trade off, for the moment.

Gold nodded and waved her towards the hot spring anyways.

"Go and enjoy your bath," he said. "I need to eat right now, regardless. I will wait for you to come back."

Tina laughed quietly and got up. "Pushy," she said with a teasing grin, making her way back towards his rooms so she could go take her bath.

Gold just smiled slightly and turned back to his soup.

Tina came back down a little while later, her hair still wet, dressed in comfy clothes for the remainder of the night. She plopped down next to Gold, looking at him.

"Ready to take stock or should I go reheat more soup?"

"As long as you still want to tag along," Gold said standing up carefully. He gestured for her to follow.

Tina followed him. "Hey, I didn't fall asleep in the hot springs so I'm not likely to fall asleep now."

Gold just gave her a small grin at that and made his way down to the 'workshop' part of the basement.

"Look around all you like," he said. "But please try not to touch anything."

"Don't worry, not touching." Tina moved around, looking things over but, as promised, not touching anything.

And then she paused when she saw a familiar plant. "How far did you have to go to get this?"

Gold glanced over as he worked.

"Not as far here as in the other world," he said. "A few hours' distance from here, perhaps."

"...You know there's a little wild patch of these like half an hour west of here, right?" Tina looked at him.

Gold paused and looked at her.

"No, I was not aware," he said. "It must have grown recently."
