Tina noticed that, rather amused, but let him anyway, shifting a little closer to make it easier.
Gold broke the kiss a few moments later.
"Better?" he asked her, grinning a bit. |
"I think so." Tina grinned. "At least now I know you're not actually against the idea." She couldn't help leaning forward a bit to kiss him again briefly.
"Surprisingly," Gold agreed. He'd never been particularly open to the idea in the past, so he hadn't been expecting to be so fine with it now.
Tina eyed him for a moment before she backed off again, going back to her chair and curling her feet under her.
"Well, guess you're really never getting rid of me now," she said with a cheeky grin. |
"Indeed," Gold replied, smiling indulgently. "Although it does not strike me as a bad thing."
"I should hope not by now," Tina said with a grin. She was quiet for a few moments.
"You never did tell me who you were going to look for, if you got out of Storybrooke." |
Gold was quiet for a moment, debating whether or not to tell her.
"My son," he finally answered quietly. "Baelfire." |
Tina blinked, surprised. "I didn't know you had a son," she said quietly, looking at him.
"It's not exactly something I advertise," Gold pointed out, glancing at her. "I shudder to think what the town would do if they knew there was someone else they could use to take out their anger at me on."
"I doubt you'd let them do anything." Tina was quiet for a moment before she reached over to put her hand on his arm. "I am sorry you didn't get to look for him. Is there anything I can do to help?"
After a moment, Gold shook his head.
"No," he replied, "although I thank you for the offer. But this is something I must do on my own." |
Tina nodded, not about to argue with him, but left her hand where it was. She figured she was allowed now.
Gold let her keep her hand there. It was comforting, in a way, and he didn't dislike it.
Tina was quiet as she worked on her tea, though she did keep most of her attention on him.
"I remember you were teaching Rachel before," she said after a few minutes, raising an eyebrow at him. |
"I was," Gold replied, nodding. No reason to deny that. "She showed talent."
"Any chance you'd continue those lessons?" Tina looked at him. "I mean, now that we're back here you mentioned magic was easier, and it's probably better to teach her than leave her on her own knowing that she can use magic. I can see that ending... badly."
"Indeed it would," Gold murmured. "Perhaps I should let her burn Hook's ship, first..." He shook his head a bit. "I'll look into it. If she wants more lessons, I will give them to her."
Tina snickered at him, shaking her head in amusement. "I'll let Rachel know next time I see her," she said, grinning briefly again.
Gold didn't look all that pleased that Tina wanted to go back to Hook's ship, but he didn't comment. He doubted he would be able to stop her without using magic.
Tina noticed the lack of outright forbidding and grinned, leaning over to give him a quick kiss.
Gold was a bit surprised by the kiss, but returned it anyways.
"Is this going to be regular, with you?" he asked after. |
"Pretty much. I'm allowed now, I intend to use that as best I can." Tina grinned. "Unless you object, anyway."
"No objections come to mind," Gold replied with a bit of a grin.
Tina just grinned at him and settled in there, though she did drag her chair over right next to his.
