Tina almost asked what that meant. Almost. But she didn't, instead moving over to him and kissing him again briefly.

"I didn't say don't come," she said quietly. "Just talk to me and we'll work things out, okay? Talking I can deal with, ordering me around I can't."

"I find I'm not quite as good at talking about things as you seem to think," Gold admitted after the kiss.

"You'll get better." Tina smiled a little. "Just try not to order me around too much, I really don't like that."

"I'll try," Gold said. He would make no promises, but he would make an effort to stop ordering her around.

"Good." Tina kissed him again quickly before settling in to make dinner for them. Oddly enough, she found she didn't mind staying in the castle, even though she was inside more often than she was used to.

Gold had noticed she was staying inside more than usual, and already had a plan to rectify that. And if it involved working all night to accomplish what he needed, he was okay with that.

Tina finished dinner a little while later and even managed to get the pastries baked, grinning smugly as she pushed one over to Gold after dinner.

Gold accepted the pastry and took a bite.

"Wonderful, as always," he said with a slight smile.

Tina positively beamed. "Good, now I know that works. At least I can improvise if I don't have those 'modern conveniences' I believe you called them."

"Humankind has done without them for a very long time," Gold pointed out. "I am sure you will prove to be just as skilled without them."

"Probably." Tina shrugged. "Just means I have to get more inventive." She grinned briefly.

"You were skilled enough before," Gold pointed out before he could stop himself.

Tina blinked before she smiled and shook her head. "Why am I not surprised that you would know everything I did when I snuck out?"

"Give me a little credit," Gold said. "I made it my business to know where you were. After all, you were intended to be Rapunzel's companion; a difficult task if you weren't present, I suspect."

Tina paused, unsure how much to tell him, and then decided that it no longer mattered.

"She had other people to visit her too," she said quietly. "I had to leave sometimes, cabin fever and all, but I tried to make sure someone else was going to be around if I was going to be gone for more than a day."

"Indeed?" Gold asked. He'd known about Red, of course, and tolerated her, but hearing about others was new. "And who, might I ask, did you show her to?"

Tina opened her mouth to tell him without even thinking, paused, and then grinned.

"How much do you want to know?" she asked instead, still grinning.

"I suppose that depends on what you want in exchange," Gold replied mildly. Inwardly, though he had to admit he approved.

Tina thought about it, tilting her head to the side and looking at him. "Y'know... I'm not sure."

"You should always have a price in mind when bargaining," Gold chided her. "Now, if you please... I'd like to know exactly who else knew about one of my more valuable possessions."

Tina grinned, unrepentant. "No one in the town. I think I introduced her to a fairy, a few sprites, and a really lovely dryad. I should go see if she's still around."

"I expected as much," Gold said. He sighed. He would have preferred if she'd left the fairies out of it, but there wasn't much he could do about it now.

"I haven't seen any of them," Tina said with a little shrug. "Not since before Storybrooke." She looked at him before she shook her head. "Besides, I doubt it matters much now."

"Indeed it doesn't," Gold murmured. "Considering the pirate has her now. Although I do hope he's careful, what with Cora sniffing around..."

Tina bit her lower lip. "What does Cora have against you two?" she asked, looking at Gold.
