Tina gave him a quick kiss, keeping hold of his hand as she shifted to look at the greenhouse again.
"All the clippings you have in the basement are dried by now, I assume?" |
Gold nodded.
"More than likely," he said. "You will need fresh ones." |
Tina nodded. "Do... do you want to come with me?" she asked hesitantly, looking at him. "We can gather a few clippings today, and I can plant them and see how they do."
"If you'd like me to," Gold replied, nodding a bit. "I'd be glad to accompany you."
Tina smiled and squeezed his hand a little. "I can visit Rachel briefly while we're out too." She did watch him though, since she knew he probably wouldn't be pleased.
Gold resisted for a moment before he sighed.
"Perhaps," he said. "If we venture out that far." |
Tina smiled. "I'm ready to go whenever you are," she said. She already had plants in mind to get for him.
Gold nodded.
"After you, then," he said, gesturing out towards the gates. |
Tina kept hold of his hand, leading the way off away from the castle and towards the ship.
She did stop a few times to gather clippings, though. |
Gold knew very well she was just taking clippings to keep up the facade, and that she was really headed towards the ship, but he let her continue. He liked seeing her happy.
Tina kept hold of his hand up until she approached the ship, figuring he didn't want to get too close.
"Rachel!" she called, staying on the dock. "I've got the list for you!" |
Rachel wasn't expecting Tina to show up, and it took her a moment to get up on deck.
"Tina?" She grinned. "I thought you would be a few more days." Gold hung back, although he kept Tina within sight. |
"Nah, too much cabin fever." Tina grinned. "Plus I had to gather clippings so I can start my garden." She bounced a little at that, clearly excited.
"A garden?" Rachel asked, interested. "How hard did you have to negotiate for that?"
"I didn't," Tina said quietly, grinning. "It was a gift. So now I get to go plant all sorts of neat things."
"A gift?" That confused Rachel for a moment. "Interesting..."
Tina shrugged. "It may not make sense but I'm not complaining." She grinned again and handed over the list. "And this is all your stuff left in the tower. I hauled myself up there yesterday so I could take a look."
"Tina, you really didn't need to," Rachel said, taking the list. "You didn't need to go up to the tower."
"It's not so bad for me," Tina said with a shrug. "Besides, I'm trying to see if I can trigger any more memories. So far, no good."
"I haven't been able to, either," Rachel said. Not that she had been trying all that hard, either.
"Well, we'll see what happens." Tina shrugged. "Everything still okay here? I don't have to bash any heads in do I?"
"No, everything's fine," Rachel said. "We talked about some things, everything seems okay now."
"Good." Tina hesitated for a few moments. "Hopefully things stay that way. You know you can always come visit, if you have to. I know it's not appealing to you but you can."
"Things are good here for now," Rachel said after a moment. "But thanks. I appreciate it."
Tina nodded and gave her a quick hug. "I get the feeling I should get going before Gold gets pissed off at Hook. I'll come see you again in a few days, unless there's anything you know you want from the list?"
