Name: Adeline Grant/ Sunspot

As Sunspot she wears a pair of short orange-red shorts with a pair of black combat boots. Her top is a midriff long sleeved shirt in a matching color as her shorts.There is a symbol of a sun in black in the middle of her shirt two of the rays stretching along the sleeves of her shirt. And of course her mask.

Abilities/weapons:Like her name suggest she draws her powers from the sun. She can absorb the solar energy and turn it into literal fire power. She can use the energy she takes in from the sun to generate fire and manipulate it. If she stores up enough she can shift it to her feet and use it to propel her long distances.

Personality: Adeline is an outgoing type.She's a generally friendly person though she doesn't trust too easily.She's the kind of person with tons of people around her but not many close friends.

Brief history: Both of her parents were scientist for Cadmus and frequently brought their work home. They were in the middle of an experiment for when something went wrong. Both of the Grants lost their life in the accident leaving their five year old daughter alone but unharmed in the back yard. After years of being passed around to her surviving relatives in the states she was sent off to live with her mother’s cousin BeatrizBonilla da Costa when she was 12. Most of the time she spent on the beach, tanning, surfing, and playing soccer . Her aunt Bea was normally off somewhere for work- what that was she didn’t know.

It was one of the rare times when her aunt was home that her powers activated, in a very inconvenient way. She had spent her day laying out on the beach and half way through diner Adeline sneezed and blew a fireball throw the wall. From then on Fire, as she learned her aunt’s superhero name was, taught her everything she needed to know about control and being a hero.

She stands about 5'5" and likes to wear darker colored dresses with slight heels so she can look 5'6".
Powers/Abilities: Riley has the power of Telekinesis. Though it's like a muscle and has to be worked out in order to pick up bigger things. So far she is able to pick up a motorcycle or moped. she is able to pick herself up, allowing her to fly. When she is Majestic, she wears black stretch pants with a black top with purple around the neck and shoulders. She wears black flats to match.
Personality: Riley isn't a very social person. She likes doing things by herself most of the time. If she gets a chance to open up to someone, she might open up her personality.
Short Bio: Riley's parent freaked out the first time they found out about her powers, she was only 4. Since then she was scared to use her powers. It does happen sometimes when she is sleeping though. Her parents wanted her to be a normal child. The enrolled her into school, dance, gymnastics, and even Karate. Now that she is older, she still does that but more of on her own. The only social thing she does, is Cheerlead. One on one she is slightly socially awkward but in a group were people aren't just staring at you, she looks like she very popular.

Batman had given them a few days leave after the incident on the Watchtower. Saying that they had earned it after fighting off member of the justice league.They weren't sure just how long the break would last so the teens were taking full advantage. At the moment the girls were having ' Girl time' in Zatanna's room while the boy had turned the area into a sumo style arena. That had been Robin's idea.

The sounds of grunts,muffled curses, and Robin's trade mark crackle filled the training area as said boy wonder flipped clean over Kid flash's head." Dude stop with the ninja stuff." Wally whined as he skidded to a stop before he went over the designated 'boundary' The ginger boy was pretty sure sumo wrestlers didn't jump around as much as their youngest team member did. Turning around Kid Flash stared down his best friend while Robin smiled innocently at the older boy before breaking out into a laugh. As Wally tried once again to charge him the boy wonder somersaulted into the air and sent a kick to Wally's back knocking him out of the arena. The ground flashed announcing that Kid Flash had : Failed.


Down the corridor that housed the three member currently living in the the mountain The girls sat around the room doing what teenage girls did when they gathered, talk about boys. Zatanna sat on her bed brush in one had and sections of Artemis's hair in the other. Running the brush through the blonds hair she laughed teasing the older girl about what had happened on the Watch Tower just some days ago. " So...What was kissing Wally like?Was he any good?" As soon as she had ask the question Megan looked up from the magazine Zatanna had given her. "ohh boy talk." She had always wanted to have a sleep over but with missions she rarely got to go to the one the other cheerleaders threw. it was more comfortable like this anyway. With the team she could be green and float while she flipped through her magazine. Which was what she was currently doing.


Brazil
January 4th
EST 6:30 pm

Bags sat next to the newly installed Zetatube in the stylish coastal house. Most superheros had secrete hide out far from their actual place of residence BeatrizBonilla da Costa, better known as Green Flame, didn't see the point. As a member of ABIN as her day job her house had some of the best security in Brazil no one was going to break in and discover a Zeta Tube in her basement. The only one she really had to worry about was her teenage cousin burning down said house.
" You said I was joining a covert ops team for super hero teens. Not that you were kicking me out." Fire dances around Adaline's fingers as she glared at her legal guardian.

"Namorado I'm not kicking you out. It'll be easier for you living in the cave with the team. That's why I installed this thing in my house so you can come home as you please." They were already late and Bea knew how much Batman hated lateness. Adaline or Sunspot really was the first partner of one of the Justice League international to join the Team. Hell she was the first sidekick to a member of JLI. But she was still a teenage girl and Bea had never had much patience. ' now grab your bags it is past time to go."
Great her cousin had used her mentor voice. The one that said that insubordination would not be tolerated.Adaline hated that voice. Normally her and Bea did their own separate things just two people living in a house. When they were in costume Sunspot listened to Green Flame. They were currently in costume.
Extinguishing the flames in her hands she garbed her bags and stormed through the Zetatube.

Superboy had gone down stairs to work on Sphere. Wolf had gone down with hi and was now laying by the water watching Connor. Super boy smiled as he fiddled with the tech. He liked seeing how things worked on it. Sphere whirrled every few minutes, letting him know that he was fine. Aqualad was watching the other two boys on the sumo mat. He smiled as Robin kept flipping over the speed demon. "I do not believe that is how you Sumo wrestle Robin." He said as he crossed his legs.

Artemis blushed a deep red when they asked the question. She looked around and even Rocket, who was painting her nails, looked up. "It wasn't that bad. He isn't very experienced but he is getting better. What about you and Superboy, Megan?" She said as she sipped her drink. Rocket looked up at Megan with a smile.

Riley was on her way to a robbery in progress. She took out her mask and placed it over her eyes. it was simple and black. She landed and rushed right in. She made the bags of money hover out of their hands and land on their heads. She smiled. She seemed to have a different attitude when she was Majestic. The Flash was waiting outside for her. She knew he was there for her. The Flash walked up to her with a smile. "So I hear there is a robbery and I rush down here. So I rush out to take care of it and a strange young Hero is here taking care of it. Who are you?"

"Majestic." She said completely nervous to talk to The Flash. He smiled as he walked closer.

"If you want to be a part of a real team, follow me, if you can." He said. Riley smiled as she floated in the air and followed the Flash to a mountain. She landed and walked and followed him towards the base, which started to open. Her jaw dropped. She had played close to here and she had never seen this.

From his place on the ground Kid flash turned to glare up at the thirteen year old boy. He would much rather be spending time with Artemis right now.However the boys had been threatened with a fate worse then death if they crashed the girls slumber party.The fastest boy alive was pretty sure his girlfriend would carry through with that threat. Robin on the other hand was standing at the edge of the ring laughing at him. "Sure it is Kaldur.It's the ancient art of Kick-speedster butt-do" Walking over to the Team leader he dropped down next to Kaldur and waved his hand towards the mat. " It's fun you should have a go." Looking around he raised his voice slightly " You too Supey." so that Connor could him him where ever he had wandered off to. Wally gave a sarcastic " HAHA" from the floor.


Putting the brush down Zatanna started braiding her best friend's hair. "Don't change the subject...but yeah Megan how are things with you and Connor?"Pulling on the girls hair to get her to face forward " Don't move." Megan hid a blush behind the magazine. It had only been a few months since her and Connor had come clean about their relationship, even if Wally was the only one who hated known at the time.So she had never gotten a chance to just gossip with her friends about her boyfriend. Things were...good.Sometimes it felt like a distance was building between them and at other times everything was fine. " It's great. Now that I'm not worrying about him finding out about how I well....really look." Her white martian heritage was still something she didn't like bringing up. Even if Connor had told her it didn't matter. " What about Zatanna? Are you and Robin together now?"
"Nope."


As the blue light blinded her Sunspot raised an arm to cover her eyes almost missing the sound of a female voice announcing their presence. "Recognize Grean Flame I03 , Recognize Sunspot B12." As the light faded Adaline lowered her arm taking a look around what appeared to be a fully furnished cave.

Superboy got up and looked at them, wiping his hands on a towel. He shook his head. "Nah. Not my thing." He said as he listened to the robotic voice. "Flash? What is he doing here?" He asked looking at Kid Flash. "Let us go see." Aqualad said as he got up to go to the main room.

"Yeah he seems that he is more into bad guys and kicking butt. Sorry it didn't work for you girl." Rocket said as she started to blow on her nails. Artemis listened and didn't move until it was done. "Come on, Flash might want something." Artemis said and got up and started to move out with Rocket.

The flash turned around to see Green Flame through the Zatatube. "Long time no see." He said to the girl. "Who is this?" In the meantime Majestic looked around in awe. She wondered who was living here. She has not seen anything like this.

"Uncle Barry?"Jumping up from his position on the floor Wally zipped off towards the zetatubes.Shrugging at his friends refusal to sumo wrestle Robin followed after the older teens. It would suck if Bruce decided that they had a long enough break. He might love missions with the team but just hanging around the cave had its up sides too. Like the fact that the girls were having a sleep over and he may have just so happened to have bugged the room. He was sure Wally would get a kick out of that.



"Are you okay?" Megan asked hovering down to sit on the bed next to her. Of course before she got a chance to tell them that her and Robin had talked about it and both agreed that it wouldn't work The zeta tube announcing the arrivals cut her off. Looking around the room Megan floated off the bed. While Zatanna sighed fallowing the others out. So much for their vacation.


The woman engulfed in a soft green flame smiled looking at the red clad speedster. " Hello Flash. This is my young partner Sunspot. Batman has extended an offer to join the Team." Looking up at the sound of her name Adaline waved to the Flash. Before she went back to looking at the cave. Looking at the girl that had came in with the Flash the brunette smiled over at the smaller girl. "You here to join the team too." Her voice had a thick accent to it hinting to where she had come from.

At that moment the whole team had come into the front area.

Riley looked at the taller girl. "Ah, yeah. I think so." he said as she then turned to see the team. She looked at the other guys and girls in complete awe. She mostly looked at superboy. He looked familiar but she just couldn't put her finger on it.

Artemis got their and looked at the two girls. "Hey Flash, who are they? New recruits." Artemis said as she looked at the girls. She then saw Wally and smiled at him. Rocket looked at the girls and wondered what they were good at. She tended to stay more in the background.

Aqualad walked forward first. "Welcome ladies to Mount Justice." He said with a slight bow. He was very sweet. Superboy looked at the girls but said nothing. "Connor?" Riley said finally knowing where she knew him from. Connor looked at the shorter girl.

Megan stopped short as she flew into the room. Not only was the Flash there but so was a woman that looked to be covered in green fire and two teenage girls. Wally moved over to Artemis's side the moment the girls entered the room." Yeah Uncle B who are they."
Robin took a good look at the two teens. So Bats was going to bring the new team members in today.Cool. Taking a quick glance at Zatanna he shoot her a crooked smile. They had said they weren't going to let what they talked about get in the way of their friendship.Megan promptly dropped to the ground as the shorter of the two girls called out Connor's name. The shocked hit her hard and she was sure it showed on the others faces. Well except for Robin. Zatanna was looking between Connor and the girl. They had to have known each other from school right? She wasn't starting at Happy Harbor High till the holiday's were over so there was no way she could tell if she knew the girl or not. ' Megan do you know who that is?'

Stepping out of the shadows Batman addressed both the team and the four heroes still hanging around the zetatube. "Sunspot, Majestic. Welcome to the team. Team meet your two new members." In truth Batman had been watching Riley for some time now. A hero popping up in the same town as the cave raised suspensions. It was no coincidence that Flash had been there today. Nodding his head to Flash and Green Flame he turned to the towards the team. So the girl had recognized her schoolmate. This was why he told Clark he was an idiot all the time. " Take this time to get acquainted with your new team members."

"New team members Kiddo!" The Flash said. "Well I hate to drop off fresh blood and run, but it's kind of my thing. Later." And the Flash was gone back through the base of the mountain. Connor and Aqualad was still looking at the shorter girl. Artemis was more distracted as she slipped her hand into Wally's. Rocket walked up to Batman and pointed at the glowing green woman. "And who is that? I've never seen her before?" she said as she crossed her arms over his chest.

Riley could feel their stares. She blushed as she raised her hand to her face. Well she would be a part of this team now, might as well show them who was under the mask. She took in a deep breath and took off her mask and opened her eyes. "I know you from school." She said with a smile.

"Riley? Your a hero? What's your ability?" Connor asked the girl.

"Ah it's better if I show you." She said as she raised her hand forward and made Connor lift off the ground.

"Wow. It's just your so quiet at school. I would have never thought you were a hero." Connor said as she let him down.

Green Flame stood next to the bat watching as the teen interacted. " You had better be right about this being good for her. Remember I know where you sleep." Not that it did any good her knowing he was Bruce Wayne.As Rocket approached and questioned her old boss and friend Bea stepped forward answering for herself. " I am Green Flame. A member of the Justice League International."


As soon as Riley had set Connor down Megan snatched the fellow cheerleader up in a hug. "Oh Riley I can't believe you are going to be joining the team too. That's great." now she would have a girl at school that knew about her other life. Well she guessed that would be Zatanna too but she had yet to start school. Pulling slightly out of the hug she had a huge smile on her face.

Adaline watched the interaction with veiled indifference. She was still a little sore about being forced to move in here.Though really she had moved so much in her life already what was once more. Using the scene taking place with Megan Robin snuck behind Sunspot. He had never met the fire user but he had met her mentor plenty of times. And of course he knew about the two new members, he did live with batman after all. "Hiya."

Turning around in surprise the brunette lit a fire in her hand masked eyes glaring at the shorter boy behind her. " Don't do that Criança." The fire stayed in her hand but she recognized him as Robin. The first ever sidekick. Wally from his place next to Artemis laughed at the orange clad female's reaction to their resident ninja." You'll get use to Rob's ninja moments."

Riley coughed a bit as she was hugged by the Martian. It took her a minute to pin point the voice. "Megan. Wow. What are the odds?" she said with a smile. "I didn't recognize you with green skin." She said smiling big. she looked and watched Robin sneak behind the other. She smiled a bit, she would have to show off soon.

Rocket nodded and went back to see the new girls. She was glad that she finally wasn't new anymore. Aqualad stood back and watched them all. He would be able to introduce himself soon enough. Superboy was shocked to see a fellow student in their team.

Artemis rolled her eyes at Robin. It was a normal day. Riley turned towards Robin. "So you trained under the Batman? Impressive, I would have to say. But then again your not me." She said as she put her mask back on her face.

Arching an eyebrow behind his mask Robin looked in the direction of Majestic. Though he would never classify his position studying under the batman impressive- words like tortuousness, and overprotected, and sometimes even scary were some of the ones he would use- he had to admit he was trained by the best. He had read her file and yeah she was good but not Bat good. "Well then I think we should see what the knew girls can down." A smirk cut across the boy wonders face.
Wally jumped up and down a goofy grin on his face,"oh teacher is it show and tell time now?" He asked in his best five year old voice earning a laugh from his best friend. Zatanna rolled her eyes but giggled at her best friend's boyfriend. Megan's smiled grew as she linked her arm though her fellow cheerleader's. "You guys can show us in the training area." She began pulling the girl along. Shrugging Zatanna followed along with Robin who after sharing a quick silent conversation followed after her. Even if they had decided not to date they were still close and she had begun to be able to read him.
Shrugging her shoulders Adaline followed the others. Turning the fire in her hand into different shapes. The flames took on first the forms of several butterflies before merging together to become a dragon the weaves around the space above her hand.

Riley looped her arms around Megan's and floated up with her to the training area. "What will we be doing?" She asked the other as they sailed off to the area.

Aqualad, Rocket, and Superboy followed the others. Superboy went to Sphere and Wolf.

Artemis stayed back and held onto Wally's hand. "Hang on there speed boy." She said pulling him close and softly kissed his lips.

Wally smiled into the kiss his hands falling to his girlfriends waist. When he pulled away the smile remained. " What was that for?" pausing he thought how she might take that question, " Not that I'm complaining." Dating Artemis was so much better then the constant fighting they did only a month ago. Not to say they didn't still have little spats. She was his spitfire after all.

The team formed a half circle keeping the new girls in the middle. it reminded Adaline of every time she was the new kid at school. ' tell us your name, where you're from, and a little about yourself.' She knew this song and dance by heart though the added superpowers did change the tempo a little. Megan stayed with her arm linked around Riley's. When she noticed that Connor hadn't joined them she connected with his mind. 'Are you going to come see what the new girls can do?'
Robin giggled noticing that Wally and Artemis hadn't joined the rest of them yet. Nudging Zatanna's arm he moved his head around to look at the rest of the team before meeting her eyes. The magician picked up on the lack of archer and speedster smiling along with Robin. Both turned to their leader letting him take control of the Show and Tell as Wally had named it.

"Because I can. Now come on or we will miss the show." She said as she kissed his cheek and started jogging off the to the arena. She knew she wasn't faster than the other but it was a short distance.

Riley looked around the arena and smiled. Rafters were perfect for her. She looked at the other and smiled. "I'm Riley by the way. Or Majestic." she said holding out her hand to Sunspot.

'I really want to learn more about Sphere.' Superboy thought back to Miss M.

"Alright. Lets have a good scrimmage." Aqualad said as he took a seat on the floor.

Taking the other girls hand in the firm shake Sunspot let the fire dragon fade out of existence."Sunspot or Adaline." A friendly smile graced her lips as she as she pulled her hand back and walked to the center of what looked to be a makeshift sumo mat. She was a little confused as to why their was a sumo mat but she just pushed it off as a part of training. Lord knew Bea had made her do some odd things in the name of training before.

'Okay. I can project the fight to you if you would like to watch and stay with Sphere.' There it was again that distance she felt building between them. She let Riley's arm slip out of hers. She must have showed something on her face because Zatanna reached out and put a hand on her shoulder her expression questioning. Smiling towards the younger girl she looked back at the two new team members.

Wally reached the area shortly after Artemis, he didn't run, to see the two girls facing off on Robin and his sumo mat. looking over towards the blond archer he gave a little laugh pointing to the mat. " We got kind of bored with you girls locked up in Zatanna's room."

Riley let go of the other's hand and watched her closely. Her mind already working out different ways to do just one thing. She had to get into the rafters. She moved her feet accordingly. She took a traditional karate stance and waited for the other to make the first move. "Hey Kid Flash? How fast can you run?"

'Sure. I'll join you guys in a bit.' Superboy thought as he messed around with the machine. Rocket, Artemis, and Aqualad sat down next to each other. Artemis was on the outside so she could sit next to Kid Flash.

Dropping down next to his girlfriend Wally slung an arm over her shoulders, " Ah about 299,792,458 meters per second." He answered in his typical science muddled way. He had to wonder why she needed to know that though This wasn't really about the team showing off. He wanted to know what they could do.

Robin remained standing masked eyes taking in careful detail about both girls stances.Majestic had a typical karate pose where Sunspot looked as if she was meditating standing up. She was taking deep even breath watching the shorter girl. She had been trained by a founding member of the JLI. She had been doing this for three years. a simple sparring season was nothing new to her.

Megan nodded sending her acceptance to Connor before slipping out of the half kryptonian's mind. She remained standing as well. smiling at Zatanna and patting her hand. She really was lucky to have such under standing friends.

Riley looked at the other with a smile. She quickly raised her hands, bring up all the dust around in area making her disappear. She jumped up to the rafters as the dust started to settle. She was using her gymnastics to swing between the rafters, using her power to get there safely.

Moving as soon as the dust rose Sunspot dodged to the right waiting for it to settle. When she could clearly see again she took notice that her opponent had disappeared. Flexing her fingers she felt the heat of her fire building around her hand and spiraling up her arms. Her uniform had been made to with stand the heat from the sun. Looking around masked blue eyes glanced up at the rafters. Up was the best way to escape. Moving her right arm she sent a whip of orange yellow flames upward. Her eyes stayed on the rafters looking to catch the first sign of movement.

Riley couldn't help but laugh as the whip of flames barely missed her. She jumped down form the rafters and landed low to the ground. She placed a hand on ground and did a kick up towards the others jaw. A smile seemed to be plastered on her face. She was happy to be in such a friendly spare against someone.

Taking the kick to the jaw Sunspot set a burst of flames towards the girls hands. Not aiming to hit just startle her enough to lose balance. Her flames were hot enough to leave third degree burns if she willed it and this was just a simple sparing match. Adeline had to admit it was kind of fun sparring with someone her own age for a change.

Riley stepped back and tripped over her feet and fell to the ground and looked at the other girl. "Touche." She said with a smile. She flipped up backwards and looked at the other. She held her hand out to the side and lifted the weights and sent them flying towards the other.

"So how do you think they doing?" Rocket whispered to Robin.

Artemis watched the other as she held the speedsters hand.

Turning her attention from the girl towards the weights hurling towards her. Letting the fire build in her left hand Adeline kept a whip of fire around her right arm. Though it was dimmer then before.The fire in her left hand burned white before she let it go. Sending a constant stream of fire though the air before it made contact with the weight. The metal glowed orange before it started melting away.Masked blue eyes glanced back at the black clad girl she was sparing with.

Megan shifted further away as the fire started flying around. Wally leaned back. one hand supporting him the other swung around Artemis. His fingers played with hers as he watched the two girls. Robin glanced over at Rocket. " They are doing pretty good. They sure aren't rookies." Which was true. he had read the files Batman had on both of them.
