He shook hi head. "think you may want to do something today?"

Gamzee seemed to consider it. "Maybe...but I don't want to be out of control."

He nodded. "I understand that..."

The Capricorn troll pulled Tavros to his lips. "Mm. We can just do what ever you want."

Tavros melted slightly into the kiss and smiled.

"So Tavros...what does my sweet matespirit want to do today?"

"well... I want to go to your hive maybe..."

Gamzee nodded. "Probably a good idea..I need fresh clothes anyway..I smell.."

"Well then... Let's go." He undid the collar on Gamzee and held the leash in his hands.

Gamzee stared at the collar nervously, almost as if he was changing his mind about leaving it off.

"Relax Gamzee..." He said softly. "It'll be fune."

"You can't know that.." His voice quivered.

"I do know it Gamzee... now come on love..."

He followed, but at a distance and still looking skeptical.

Tavros walked them out of his hive and toward Gamzee's. He didn't say anything, but when they got over the hill, Tavros froze. "G-Gamzee...? Is that your Lusus...?" Poking out from the ocean was a large white sea-serpent, whose attention immediately went to Gamzee..

He cocked his head to the side and walked towards it, stuing a little since he still wasn't used to the missing weight on his head.

"Gamzee...." The sea-serpent said as the Highblood got close. "My boy...." He knelt down, his head being almost the size of Gamzee's hive.

Gamzee neared the large serpent and laid a small hand on his head. "Yes?" His voice was soft, almost childlike.

"I've been worried about you..." The serpent brought his tail around to stroke the boy's head. "What happened to your horns, Gamzeee?"

Gamzee felt a good bit like a little child again, wanting to curl up and cry. "I...had an accident..." He explained. "It was rainy and..I fell..." He winced just slightly at the touch as if he might possibly be afraid. After all, his guardian hasn't exactly played a huge role in his life. He'd been absent a good deal. "Why worried..?" His face was flooded with purple blush, the color very easy to see without his makeup on.

"I haven't seen you in so long...." The Serpent Lusus looked at Gamzee. "I may not talk to you all the time, but I always watch over you..." He stroked the other again. "You're so string Gamzee... I knew you wouldn't need me much... but that was a mistake...."

Gamzee cringed as if he'd been slapped. Purple liquid brimmed at his eyes, threatening to spill over the rim. "What do you mean....?" His voice was a pained whisper. "Am I a mess up...?"

"No Gamzee...." He wiped the tears away. "You are perfect Gamzee... But... I made the mistake of not being more involved in your life.... I'm sorry...."

Gamzee leaned against his Lusus. "Oh..well...it was ok...honestly...I've been doing alright." He lied.

"Don't lie to me Gamzee.... I know when you do...." He looked at the HIghblood. "Is it about you being sober Gamzee...?"
