And oh god, did he just flirt back? "Well... I'm glad then!" She laughed softly, and finally slipped her bag off of her back.

Dave leaned back a little. "The movie doesn't start for another hour..I could take you for lunch.."

"That sounds like fun!" She said with a giggle. "Let's do it!"

He lead her out to a car, now having his license and such. He drove them to a little deli. "Feel free to get anything ok?" He gave a half smile.

"Okay..." She looked at what was available before settling on a simple sandwich.

He ordered the same thing she got and went to their table, pulling out the chair for her.

"Well, thank you cool-kid..." She sat down and looked up at him with a smile.

He pushed her up to the table. "You're welcome." He sat across from her, staring, though that wasn't obvious due to sunglasses. He was glad for the glasses at this point, not withing to be caught being a creeper. When the food came, he simply nibbled at it, still staring.

Jade hummed for a moment as she ate. "Hey Dave... I have a question...."

He snapped out of his gaze. "Hmm? Go ahead."

"Well, just how did you get so awesome?" She laughed softly, almost positive that he thought she was going to ask about the glasses.

He laughed. "I don't know. I think I was born that way..."

She laughed as well. "Well, I guess that's awesome then!!" She smiled and took another bite of her sandwich. "You know, I'm surprised John didn't say anything about this." She shrugged.

He cocked his head to the side a little. "Why would he?"

She shrugged. "I figure protective brother to kick in or something.... U-uh, not that this is something he has to worry about or anything"

Dave shrugged. "Maybe he knows that I wouldn't dare hurt you or try anything. After all, he's my bro...friends look out for each other's siblings."

She nodded. "I guess so..." She laughed softly. "Well, I'm glad he didn't bust in... I think I would've been a bit confused on how to reply..." She shrugged and looked over at Dave.

"That'd have been awkward..."

"y-yeah... I seriously wouldn't know how to say 'oh yeah, just gonna go see a movie with Dave' without him trying to be... Well, be John!" She laughed a bit nervously before shaking her head "but it's okay!!"

Dave smirked. "He's just jealous that I like you more than him."

Jade laughed softly. "that must be it..."she smiled at the blonde teen,happy she agreed to go to the movie with him.

He nodded. "Of coarse it is."

She laughed softly and took a sip of her drink. "I don't really want to go to school tomorrow..."

Dave's face contorted into a creepy grin. "Then don't. Skip school with me." He suggested.

Her eyes widened just slightly. "I-I've never skipped class before! What if we were to get caught? O-or my dad found out??"
