D--> What is it? And sorry, he has this stupid thing programmed into his stupid phone

He sighed
I went with Dirk to the movies...and he..kind of did something bad.

D--> What did he do??

Jade bit her lip, keeping her ear open for the phone while she worked on Sebs.

Jade read the message and gripped the phone tightly.

D--> He did, did he? Well. Guess this means, I need to be around you more and let him get the message you're taken

Dave's face was rather red.

I explained that to him, but he didn't want to stop...he as acting weird...I'm not sure what's wrong with him..

D--> Want me to go ahead and make my way home? I'm done with Sebs

And that was true, she was just finishing a few final touches. Now would not be the time to tell Dave about last night anyways.

Probably a good idea. I'm actually at your house..don't tell anyone, but I was afraid to spend the night where Dirk was...
He felt very uncool, but Dirk had been in a scary mood last night.

D--> We'll speed. Be home in an hour and a half. Just watch netfli% or bug John or something

Kay...I don't want to find John. I'm staying in your room.

Jade told Equius and he nodded, helping her pack Sebs in the car and load her suitcase.

D--> We're on the road right now. So I will see you soon. Feel free to cuddle under my blankets and make it smell like awesome

kay. I'll see you then

He curled up under the sheets, falling apart emotionally.

When Jade and Equius pulled up to her house, she got out of the car, ignoring the fact she had a robot and suitcase, and basically sprinted up to her room, ignoring the slight pain in her arm as she held the apple juice. "Dave?"

Dave was curled under neath the covers, head buried in a pillow so that his face was hidden. The room smelled of cheap perfume and sweet vanilla mixed with apple cider and cinnamon. Dirk was sitting on the bed beside Dave, cooing soft words to him as if he didn't know he was the problem. "Dave..." He pet his hair some more. "Shhh....I'm here ok?" He was ignoring Jade, trying to pry Dave away from the pillow that he was clutching so tightly.

"Dirk!" Jade was glaring at the older Strider. "Get away from Dave, now." she set the juice aside. "And then get the hell out of my room."

Dirk glared. "Excuse me?!" He yanked Dave up by his hair and heard a squeal. "Dirk!" He gasped, red eyes wide with suprise. Dirk's own orange eyes were blazing with untamed anger. "I do what I want Mrs. Harley." Dirk stated blandly.

"Not in this house you sure as hell don't!" she reached for her rifle when Equius came into the room holdin Sebs with Becquerel at his side, both human and animal glaring at the orange-eyed man.

"it would be in your bet interest." he said as he set Sebs down and walked over to Dirk to grab on tightly to his wrist. "To let go of Dave."

Dave dropped onto the bed as Dirk slammed him down, anger lining his face.

Equius twisted the man's arm behind his back as Jade went over to Dave and pulled him to her gently. "Dave, it's okay... I'm here..." Jade looked up at Equius who nodded and dragged Dirk from the room.

Dirk growled loudly. "He has to come home sometime Harley! And I'm much more charming than you are!" Dave simply sighed a little. "You don't have to hurt him. I assure you he didn't hurt me..."

She frowned. "I don't want you to go back over there Dave... I really don't." she said with a frown.

He looked worn. "I kind of have to...I mean...that's my home..."

"but it can't be healthy living there..." she looked at him. "what if he keeps coming onto you?"

"I'll deal with him if he messes to much..."
