Tony grinned, flipped the faceplate down again, and moved over to her. He gave her a minute to get a good grip before he took off, heading up to the helicarrier. But at nowhere near his normal insane speed.

Julie grinned at that. "Well, then, we'll have to see what I can find for us to watch." She started browsing Netflix, considering a few movies.

And if she was delaying a bit to keep him there as long as possible, well, no one needed to know.

Maeve gasped in voluntarily as they took off and held on real tight. She was trembling slightly when they touched down on the deck of the Helicarrier.

"Arceus Almighty," she managed once she got herself to let go. "That was a rush."

Steve waited patiently while Julie sifted through the movies. He knew approximately how to navigate Netflix, even if the mechanics of instant movies were beyond him. He didn't mind this, though, the sitting with Julie. It was nice.

"That was even decently slow," Tony told her with a grin.

Julie finally picked a movie and settled in to watch. She did snort when Electrike plodded over to go pounce on Arcanine's tail.

"You're used to it," Maeve pointed out as she tried to straighten her hair and clothes a bit. "I don't typically make it a habit to hang on to what amounts to a flying roller coaster." She grinned a bit, though.

Steve smiled a bit when he noticed, but he didn't move to stop them. He knew Arcanine didn't mind looking after Electrike for a while.

Tony snickered. "Well, go on inside, I'm going to go find Fury. See if he ever found that eyepatch I sent him."

Julie shook her head at the two, amused. "It's a good thing Arcanine doesn't mind," she said, grinning. "Or you."

Maeve snickered a bit.

"Ask him if he ever caught the person who tacked the latest Jolly Rodger flag to his office door," she said. She grinned. "It happens occasionally."

Steve grinned a bit.

"He's never minded little ones," he said. "And I guess I've had a soft spot for kids for a long time."

Tony snickered. "I'll do that. Let me know when you need a ride back down."

Julie nodded. "Kids are pretty great, most of the time. There are a few bad ones, but not very many. And little pokemon are awesome."

"I'm perfectly capable of piloting a quinjet," Maeve pointed out as she made sure she still had all her things.

Steve nodded.

"I guess I have a bit of a soft spot for them because they were always just so earnest at the shows," he said. "Arcanine was never allowed on stage with me, so he was usually in the audience as something of a babysitter."

"True, but it's not as much fun," Tony pointed out.

Julie nodded. "That's pretty adorable," she said with a grin. "He'd make a good dad." She nodded at Arcanine.

Maeve just rolled her eyes, and then headed inside to see what her temporary assignment was.

"I've thought the same thing," Steve admitted. "It's just... never been an option." Although, in truth, he did want his friend to be able to experience it, if Arcanine chose to.

"It might be now," Julie said with a shrug. "But we'll see." She was quiet for a bit as she watched the movie before she started getting antsy.

"Maybe," Steve said. He settled in for the movie. It was interesting, if a bit confusing, and he wasn't sure he caught about half of the one-liners in the movie, but it was fun nonetheless. He did, however, notice Julie fidgeting. "Everything alright?"

"Cabin fever," Julie admitted. "It's getting hard to hold still. My leg doesn't hurt at the moment."

"I kinda get that," Steve admitted. "I get a bit antsy if I'm cooped up too long." He grinned a bit sheepishly. "Of course, since the serum, 'too long' is usually around a day or so."

"Well since the serum I don't think they've found anything that can keep you down for long." Julie smiled a bit. "Come on, help me walk around a bit. I've been instructed to keep weight off my leg as much as possible."

"Are you sure you should be trying to walk around, then?" Steve asked, concerned. "If you shouldn't be putting weight on your leg at all..."

"I'll hop around like a demented kangaroo. You're here to make sure I don't fall flat on my face." Julie grinned. "Call it training if you want. That's how Clint gets away with half of what he does."

"The minute you start getting tired, you're sitting back down again," Steve said in a tone that left no room for argument. Getting up, he helped her to her...foot.

"Aye aye, Captain," Julie agreed cheerfully. She managed to start moving around, ignoring the strange looks she got from the pokemon. Hey, she needed to do something.

Steve kept pace with her, although he didn't hold her hand or anything. He let her work under her own power as far as she was able.

Julie made it all the way to the kitchen before she started to wear out, panting a bit.

"Okay. Hopping is harder work than I thought."

Steve nodded a bit.

"You never know just how much weight you carry around until you're trying to do it on only one leg," he said. He followed her to the kitchen and helped her sit down on a chair.

Julie nodded and sat down for a bit, though she did eye the roof suspiciously when she heard faint snickering. Oh she was going to have to get Clint later.

Steve heard the snickering too, and glanced up at the vents, but ignored it after that. He'd mention it to Natasha later, he was sure she would be able to get Clint to knock it off.

Julie was already planning her own revenge. After a minute she got up to go back to the living room and wobbled a bit.
