"Yeah, sure, you could call it that." Tony nearly got his fingers caught in some wiring.

"Okay," Maeve said after a moment. "I'm guessing you know where I live. What time will you be there?"

"Um." That made Tony pause. "6:30? We can grab some food."

"Sure," Maeve said. She grinned a bit. "Sounds like a good plan."

Tony nodded. "Good, great, sounds fair." He risked a glance at her to see how she looked so far.

Maeve's face was still a bit pink, but she was smiling. The idea of a date was appealing.

Tony relaxed at that. Okay, that was a good sign, he could work with this. Grinning briefly, he looked back down at the suit on the table.

"So, you caught Jules and Cap making eyes at each other yet?"

"Jules needs to jump him already," Maeve said dryly. She grinned. "I have the necessary paperwork all ready to make it legitimate, all it needs are their signatures. I already got Coulson's."

Tony choked on a laugh. "Really? You got Coulson to sign off on it before they even started trying to jump each other?" He started laughing. That was just too perfect. "How much did he pout?"

"I kind of cheated," Maeve admitted. "I told him that Jules makes Steve happy, and he was more than willing to sign off after that." She grinned. "Coulson's a sucker for Happy Cap."

"Yes he is." Tony snickered. "I think he'd do just about anything to keep Cap happy." He shook his head. Really, Coulson was too easy sometimes.

"So as soon as they start actually dating, I can have them sign off and hand it in to HR so neither of them catches any attitude for it" Maeve grinned. "Because here is actually a form for dating between agents. I modified it a little to include Avengers for them." She paused when she realized that she might need that form for herself.

Tony realized the same thing and grinned. "Give the paperwork to Julie, say it's her turn," he said with a shrug. "Or tell her to return the favor, or something."

"Doesn't work that way, unfortunately," Maeve replied. "The form needs the signatures of the agents in question and their handlers. Being the handler, I can sign off on my own." She grinned a bit. "But I would still need to get Coulson to sign off, too."

"Because Coulson has to sign off on everything." Tony shrugged. "Getting that signature probably won't be hard. Except he'll try to warn you off me."

"Actually, I need his signature because he's technically the handler for the Avengers as a team," Maeve said. "Otherwise, I wouldn't need to get him involved at all."

Tony snorted. "He already handles Natasha and Clint, and he's the only one that can deal with the rest of us and even try to make us do anything. Although Thor still doesn't understand paperwork."

"He'll understand paperwork when he has to sign treaties or something," Maeve said, grinning. "He probably knows a lot that he just never has to worry about here on Earth. I doubt he has to worry about running an entire realm when he's here."

"No, I gather coming here is sort of like a vacation for him. He's apparently helping his father rule and is being trained for the role." Tony shrugged. He knew what that was like, except his was taking over a company, not an entire realm.

"Yeah, I've heard," Maeve said, nodding. "All I can say is I'm glad it's not me. Handling one asset is difficult enough, sometimes. I don't think I could handle an entire kingdom."

"No kidding. There's a reason I made Pepper CEO." Tony shook his head and stretched, grinning when Lucario walked over to push him away from the suit. "I think I'm being told to take a break."

"I think you are, too," Maeve said. She grinned. "You should listen to her."

"I know better than to ignore her by now." Tony got up and stretched, cracking his back a few times. "I think I want a snack. We should go find food. Or order people to bring food. I have minions for that."

"If you order Chinese I'll smack you," Maeve threatened as she followed them. "I don't think I want Chinese ever again."

"Chinese is good from the right place," Tony said with a shrug. "I was thinking shwarma. That sounds good. J, put in my normal order, would you? And whatever Maeve wants."
