"..... have you seen him interact with girls...? Yeah, he chickened out..."
"I'm fine.." he smiled, glancing at her quietly before quickly looking back up at the sky. |
"I can't say I have. I mean he liked the chick from Ravenclaw for a while but I haven't heard him talk about her."
"Ok.." She turned back around and sighed, staring at the ground. Maybe I was getting the wrong vibe.. |
"I'll force him on her even if I have to push him myself..." She blinked a bit. "...That just sounded bad... forget I said that..."
"Are you alright?" |
He held his fingers close together. "Only a little creepy sounding...Should I be worried?"
"I'm ok." She nodded and rubbed her neck. "Just looking at the view.." |
"....perhaps..."
"You're looking at the ground..." |
"Should I leave the room for my own safety?" He raised his eyebrow. "I'm sure they'll figure it out on their own..Harry isn't an idiot."
"......" She blinked. "The ground looks nice from up here?" She looked back at him and smiled slightly. |
She pouted. "You're going to leave me?"
"........right..." He paused and gingerly took her hand quietly. |
"No. Of course not..I'd never leave you." He grinned. "You can't get rid of me that easily." He put the quill and the paper down. "I think we've written enough prices for now."
Mel blinked, looking down at her hand and flushed a little. She curled her fingers around his hand and smiled. |
She grinned. "Food now?"
"........." His cheeks flushed darkly as he looked back up at the sky, he couldn't work up the nerve to do much else on his own. |
"Great plan." He stood up and walked over to her, holding out his arm. "Shall I escort you to the Great Hall?"
Mel rested her head on his shoulder, happy with the moment. Maybe I was wrong about being wrong. |
"Yes." She smiled and stood up, holding onto his arm, resting her head on his shoulder. "If I don't have a squealing girl in my ear before I go to bed, harry is getting a glass full of love potion...."
He froze, unsure of what to do, he stayed quiet, glancing at her shyly. |
"A good friend would tell Harry about your plan...but if I want to be a good boyfriend..I won't." He laughed and kissed her cheek. "Besides..what harm could it do? He'd be happy in the end, wouldn't he?"
She felt him tense a little after she rested her head on his shoulder. She didn't want to scare him. She certainly didn't want to come off as being to forward. She lifted her head up and looked up at him. "..Maybe we should go inside. It's kind of late..and I don't want you getting sick." |
"H-huh? Oh... uh, right..." He offered a small smile. "I'm fine though, if you want to stay out here a bit longer..."
She smirked. "Good boy." |
"I don't mind staying out here with you." She looked up at the stars and smiled. "It is really nice out, even if it's a little chilly."
"And they said I couldn't learn." He chuckled and walked her to the Great Hall. "Perfect. I'm starving." |
She giggled, clinging to his arm as she walked with him. "Probably just something to shut my stomach up then, laying down in the common room in front of the fire... sound good?"
He nodded and looked back up, smiling softly. "Yeah..." |
"We can just bring a plate back to the common room and then snuggle in front of the fire?" He grinned. "Right?"
Mel rested her head back on his shoulder and closed her eyes. |
