"Alright." Mel smiled following behind D keeping an eye out behind them. "Well getting caught would suck more if it's a teacher..." Mel sighed and shook her head. She placed her hands in her pockets before she yawned and bounced off of D. "Why'd you sto- ....uh fancy meeting you guys here..."

"Are you two crazy! You can't just go out and walk into the woods with a bloody monster out there! It's eating students. Weren't you two listening...?"

"We were listening...that's why we're going." Mel sighed. "Then people can go outside safely after it's dead."

The twins crossed their arms looking down at D. "Lying to us." "Telling us you had to go to the bathroom." "We've rubbed off on you haven't we?"

"I don't want you coming with us." Mel crossed her arms. "You guys could get hurt. I wouldn't want that on my conscience." Once they reached the end of the passage she stretched a bit. She turned back to them before looking at D. "There's no point lying to them anymore...They're going to find out in a few minutes.."

"Well, you're not doing that until we figure out what we're up against..."

"What is she going to be doing?"

"You'll see when she does it.."

"And what will you be doing?"

"Uh.. waving pompoms and shouting 'You can do it! Go team go'?" She held Lilly so she wouldn't be tempted to shift forms. the least they could do was keep one secret. If things looked bad of course she'd let Lilly go, but for now everything was safe. As they made their way into the woods she frowned. "Lilly, do you hear or smell anything?"

"How exactly is she going to help us? It's not like she can talk..."

Mel nodded a bit looking back at the group before she made her way down the hill side towards the woods.

Lilly's ears twitched as she sniffed the air before she paw in Mel's direction. She glanced up at D nodding slightly.

The twins looked at each other before watching Mel walk away. "Well at least only one of them is really crazy."

"We're all doomed." Ron rubbed his forehead.

She stopped at the edge of the woods and crossed her arms staring into the dark forest. "Well...let's get the party started."

Lilly wiggled out of D's arms before she landed on the ground and ran past Mel into the woods.

"Hey! We're sticking together!" Mel huffed chasing after the cat. "Slow down woman!" Once they were deeper in the woods Mel peeked over a log and raised her eyebrow. "What the HELL is that thing? It looks like a hair ball with legs." She glanced over at Hermione since she'd most likely know.

She blinked and covered her mouth. "Th-that looks like a Quintaped... but that's impossible... it's not suppose to be here, let alone exist... they're suppose to be extinct.... they're man eaters, and known wizard killers..." She frowned taking a step back, "We should get a teacher...."

"There's no time for that now." She frowned and wrinkled her nose slightly and huffed softly picking Lilly back up. "You, knock it off... we can't have you running off after every killer creature we meet.. got it?" She glanced at Mel. "Seika or Kayko..? Who's itching for a fight and won't die?"

"Uh, what are you talking about...?"

"Just shut up and watch would you...?"

Mel raised her eyebrow listening to Hermione. "A known wizard killer huh?" She stood up and turned back to them. "Good thing I'm not a wizard...or a man." She looked back at D. "I don't know...let me ask." She tilted her head for a moment before she smiled. "Kayko's complaining to go. So I guess it's her turn." She looked over the group for a moment. "None of you better do something stupid...or I'll kick your ass. Got that?" She pointed to Lilly. "Watch them." Mel took a deep breath and closed her eyes as a bright light flashed for a moment and then she was gone.

"Ooo...creepy woods..." Kayko snorted. "Scary~" She wiggled her hand in a sarcastic manor. "Oh...looks like the light got it's attention. Be back in a jiff~" She pulled her sword from her back before she jumped forward landing near it. "Hey ugly~ You need hair cut." She crouched down a bit. "Let me help you with that." Kayko pushed off the ground and charged at it. She slashed at it a few times and dodged a few blows. She toyed with it for a while since it wasn't as agile as she was. She didn't want to put to much strain on Mel's body so she lifted her sword over her head before she swung it forward smacking the blade against the side of it. Kayko's ears twitched watching it spaz for a while. Once it stopped moving she poked it. "Ok. That was kind of boring..." She frowned before turning and walking back towards the group. "Run along kids. The big bad monsters dead." She placed her sword back before she switched back. Mel flopped onto the ground and rubbed her head. "I'm hungry..." she tilted her head and smiled.

"I don't.. how did you... I don't even.. what...?" She spat out blinking in confusion. "What was that?"

"She waved her hand. "The only reason we're at this school in the first place..?" She forced a smiled scratching her cheek. "we're not wizards..."

"Obviously..."

"But we're not exactly muggles either..."

"Again, rather obvious..."

She rolled her eyes. "Can you say that in a non condescending and sarcastic tone?"

"I think she's just in shock..."

"Right then.. now what...?"

"That was bloody amazing!" Ron blinked.

The twins clapped a bit. "That was really entertaining."

"Let's do it again!"

Mel sat up and blinked looking over at Hermione. "I'm sure she'll get used to it..." Mel rubbed her cheek before she sat up and smiled. "Well I guess it's time to go back to the common room and answer questions...I'm sure some of you have at least a few..." She stood up and wobbled a little as she yawned. When she got back to the common room and flopped down on one of the sofas. "Mmm...comfy.."

"How did you learn to do that?"

"I didn't really...learn it..it's a long story" She waved her hand. "But long story short...we're not normal anymore." Mel raised her eyebrow looking at the small group. They were taking it better then others. It was probably since of the whole magic thing. She rolled over on the couch and yawned. It was probably bed time. Well it was for her at least. "I guess that means it's bed time for me..." She picked up Lilly and nuzzled her a bit. "Good night all.." Mel smiled and waved before she headed up to the room.

The next morning had woken up seeing she was alone. "Where did D wander off too? Did I miss breakfast?" Mel looked around. "I think I missed breakfast..." She slid out of bed as her nose twitched. She didn't feel like getting changed out of her PJ's. Today was Sunday and she didn't really have any plans anyway. She opened the door and made her way down into the common room looking around.

The two looked at each other and frowned after they had both latched onto D's arm and dragged her off to their store. "We have bad news."

"Horrible news. We got detention from our little paper incident yesterday."

"Seeing as your the one who gave us the idea it's only fair that you watch the store while we're detained."

She scowled softly looking back and forth between the twin and crossed her arms over her chest once she shook herself loose of their grasps. "And you think I can run your store for you while you're in detention?" She wrinkled her nose a bit. "I don't know the first thing about running a store, let alone a wizarding one...." she looked around and decided to sit on a stack of books, not sure if she should trust the armchairs, the books seemed safe enough. She rolled her eyes and gave a defeated sigh before they got her into an embarrassing situation. "Tell me what I need to know..."

He looked up from his book, smiling sheepishly. "Sleep well?" His head tilted slightly as he raised an eyebrow glancing at a large clock. "They should still be serving food, or if anything lunch should be ready soon.. you're probably starving I'd imagine..." he closed the book setting it on the seat next to him chuckling softly. "Though I'd imagine you'd want to change before going out, at the very least putting shoes on...."

"Everything has prices on it. You don't need to worry about that." They were happy that she agreed..well sort of agreed. "The cash register is normal. The only wizarding things in here are the items."

"As long as you have basic math skills you should do fine. We'll only be in detention for a couple hours so it's not like your whole night will be ruined.

"But your always welcome to stay longer if you wish."

She smiled and rubbed her eyes a bit. "Very well. I had to force myself out of bed. I was too comfy." She placed her hand on her stomach listening to it growl. "I am a little bit hungry.." She looked up at the clock. "But I think I'll be ok until lunch." She sat down on the sofa and yawned once more. She assumed the twins had stolen D. "I'll have to get changed before then.." She was actually thinking about going outside since it seemed nice out. "Maybe I'll get dressed now...and go outside."

She wrinkled her nose and rolled her eyes. "Hello.. muggle American... I'm intelligent, but wizard economics are new to me." She looked around frowning softly. "And when was the last time you organized and cleaned this place..?" She shook her head. "You two are such.. boys..." She smirked, unable to think of anything better to add.

He blinked nodding a bit. "Oh, alright." He chewed on the inside of his lip, "Uh, where are you doing exactly?" he supplied helpfully, smiling a bit. "There are some places on the grounds you may want to avoid..."

"Silly American. Not being able to do math." Fred wagged his finger and chuckled a bit. "I guess we'll have to teach you math now too?"

"You would think math wouldn't be that hard." They teased before they looked at each other and laughed.

"So we're professors now?"

"I don't really know yet.." Mel blinked before she tapped her chin and smiled. "I guess for a walk around the school or something.." She then turned back up to the stairs to get dressed. Once she finished she came back down. "I know we aren't allowed in the woods." She nodded. "I think I can keep myself out of trouble as long as I don't find another man eating monster."

She rested a hand on her hip and scowled softly, "Lets not get ahead of ourselves..., You haven't taught me anything..." She crossed her arms. And I don't need to learn math, I know math.. I need to know what's what with wizarding money... professors..." She rolled her eyes again and laughed softly.

"Well, I could go with you.. to make sure you stay... out of trouble..."

"We were just teasing you..." Fred chuckled and shook his head. "It was all in good fun." They nodded towards her and smiled before they started to explain everything she needed to know about the store and where should could find everything she needed.

"Do you think you'll be able to handle yourself now? As we said before we won't be gone very long. Only a few hours at most."

"At least we still have a few hours before we go. It is technically in the evening." They two looked at each other for a moment before they seemed to 'talk' for a moment. "Well since the matter of watching the store is settled.."

"We wouldn't want everyone to think we have a total stranger watching our store..right fred?"

"Exactly...it would make much more sense if we had a girlfriend watching our store."

"Well that's very kind of you." Mel chuckled. She was pretty sure she could get herself out of trouble but she'd humor him. "Shall we go then?" She tilted her head before she started to head out. "You didn't have to offer...I'm sure as you saw before I can handle myself..." She glanced back at him as she made her way outside she looked up at the sky and stretched. She looked around noticing the other students certain activities kinda made her look away. "No one seems to worried about privacy.."

He followed her hands in his pockets as he laughed softly. "Well, there isn't really much privacy around here to be honest... Everyone knows everything.. it seems even before it happens." He chuckled softly and cleared his throat. "A-anyway, lets go walk by the lake."

She raised an eyebrow, scowling softly. "I'm a girl and I'm your friend..." she smirked softly, and raised an eyebrow. "Or was that not what you meant..?" She batted her eyes playfully looking at them innocently. she crossed her legs raising an eyebrow as she watched them. while they were gone she'd probably bother Mel, the borrow Mana to help clean up some. Or rather stand in a corner while Mana cleaned so she wouldn't get in the way.

"It's like high school all over again..." She mumbled to herself. "I hated high school..." She then listened to him and nodded. "Oh yea...lake sounds nice.." She nodded a bit and headed down the path towards the lake. Her nose twitched for a moment. Once she got to the lake she sat down on the shore and smiled. "It's good to go out once in a while."

"No no...not a girl that's our friend. That makes us sound like children."

"An actually girlfriend. You know technically one word."

"Do you think you'll be able to handle that?"

"It's probably going to be a full time job."

She tilted her head. "I don't know.. a full time job on top of this part time job" she waved her hand around the shop, "and being a student... may be a bit much..." she smirked and shrugged her shoulders. "I've always been a glutton for punishment, I .. guess I can give it a try.." She wagged her finger. "But you do know this will probably make people talk.... badly about me... you know, having two boyfriends..." She scowled softly. "I don't know if it'll work out..." She tapped her chin slightly watching the two of them. "Are you willing to take that risk...?"

He nodded smiling softly, heading towards the lake. "Oh, you may want to stay back a bit from shore... there is a lake monster.. and sometimes he likes to play with the students..." He coughed, clearing his throat. "He doesn't quite get the concept we can't breath under water and don't really want to play with him..."

"That does sound tough. You could always stop being a student." He laughed and raised his eyebrow. "Then you'd only have to deal with two things." They paused for a moment. "But we're twins. It's not like we're two different people. You'd really just be dating the same person...twice."

Mel blinked staring down at the water. "W-What kind of lake monster..?" She gulped slightly before she crawled backwards a bit and hid behind him. "It's not going to eat me is it?" She whispered.

He smiled laughing softly, shaking his head. "No, he's not going to eat you..." He chuckled. "Well, I think it's a giant squid. Maybe a Kraken...? I know it has tentacles...." He rubbed the back of his head. "I'm sure we'll be fine though, it's gotten colder, he's probably hibernating..." He chuckled softly, offering a reassuring smile.

She laughed softly and tossed a book at Fred. "Oh shut it...." She crossed her arms at her chest again sticking out her tongue. "I'll just have to suffer through it.." She smirked, "I mean, I only have to watch the store while you're in detention, that shouldn't be forever...." she paused for a moment and shook her head rubbing her forehead. "Who am I kidding, you're there practically every night with your pranks..."

Mel twitched slightly calming down a bit. She really hated the word tentacles. "Ok." She shifted a bit flopping down next to him and nodded. She didn't want to be reminded that it was getting colder. She huffed slightly and shivered. "I hate the cold."

He chuckled and caught the book before he frowned. "We're in there all the time."

"We don't go during Christmas...we're home then. Of course we just terrorize our family then."

"Speaking of we'll be getting our Christmas break soon. Are you going home for Christmas?"

She scratched her cheek. "Well, um... I think we're kind of stuck here.." She tilted her head. "Seeing as we don't really know if we have an actual home to go to...."

He laughed softly and put an arm around her. "I can keep you warm." he smirked softly raising and eyebrow and paused for a moment removing his arm. "Uh, I mean.... what are you doing for Christmas...?"

"Why wouldn't you have a home to go too? You're just a bit farther away from your home."

"It's not like your stuck here...But I bet Mum wouldn't mind more guests over!"

"Yeah! If you don't want to go home you could come to our house!"

Mel blushed feeling his arm around her. "Ah..." She rubbed her cheek and smiled. "I...didn't mind.." She mumbled quietly looking over at him. "That's a good question...I have no idea."

She raised an eyebrow. "And what will your mom say when she finds out you're sharing a girlfriend...?" She shook her head and clicked her tongue. "Not really something one's mom wants to hear hn...?"

He laughed softly. "I usually go to Ron's house, his family is loads of fun, and his mum loves guests, so long as she knows about them.." he chuckled softly. "I'm sure you could come over, D as well, the more the merrier."

"I don't see to much of a problem. I'm sure she was expecting this eventually."

"Probably sooner then later." He nodded. "It'll be exciting don't you think?"

"Ok." She nodded a bit. She wasn't one to barge in on people but being invited was different. "It seems like it would be fun better then doing nothing I guess..." She laid back in the grass and smiled.

She rolled her eyes and shook her head. "If this is some way to spite your mother, both of you are going to be in trouble.. with me.." She rested a hand on her hip. "Is that clear boys...?"

He nodded leaning back a bit looking up at the sky. "Mrs.Weasley is really nice, She's like a mum to me, since the people I live with aren't exactly much of a family to me..."

They both saluted before nodding. "Yes Ma'am!"

"Our Mum will be happy for us. She'll be glad we took a few moments away from pranking to get a girlfriend."

"That's good." She smiled and tilted her head. "The...girls are like my family." She tapped the side of her skull for a moment. "But it get's crowded in here.."
