"I know. I'm just glad I was somewhat used to hiking before this." Rei grimaced and headed over to the clearing. There was even a stream on the edge of it, and she sat next to it to wrestle her boots off.

Faye already had her boots half-way off. She wasn't playing around; she wanted to get her feet into the stream.

"Oh my god," she moaned as she slowly put her feet into the cool water. "Oh it's fantastic."

Rei hummed her agreement as she settled her feet in the water. She sighed happily and rested there, letting Tony and Bruce raid the pantry-capsul for food.

Faye glanced at them from time to time, but she didn't move from where she was dangling her feet in the stream. It just felt too good to move.

Tony was just getting food out when Rei saw rustling in the bushes again. She threw her bishiball at it, and this time, it actually hit. She blinked and got to her feet, not even bothering with her boots.

"Did I actually get it?"

"I think you did," Faye said, turning to watch. She didn't get up, though. "Go see."

Rei walked over to pick up the ball and stared at it for several moments. Yup, there was someone in there. She blinked before heading back to the others and releasing the bishi.

Logan shook himself briefly and scowled at Rei. "You been following me?" he demanded.

"Um. I don't think so?"

"Well someone's been throwing those things at me for a few days."

Faye just blinked, and then grinned.

"Oh my god you got a Wolverine," she said to Rei.

"I did." Rei grinned. "I just did. Oh this is fun. And we weren't following you to my knowledge." She looked at Logan again.

Logan grunted and looked at Tony and Bruce before he made a face. "You're going to make me put up with him?" He jerked his head at Tony.

"Hey!" Tony pouted.

"Calm down, Tony," Bruce said, glancing at his Science Bro. He looked at Logan. "Theoretically, no new trainers should have been able to follow you for three days, Logan," he commented. "Or sneak up on you, unless you were following them instead."

"New trainers?" Logan glanced at Rei. "Really?"

"Really," Rei agreed. "Hi, I'm Rei, this is my friend Faye. You're the first on my team."

Logan grumped wordlessly.

Faye waved from where she was sitting.

"Bruce and Tony are mine," she piped up.

Logan nodded, eyeing the other two bishis for a moment before he refocused on Rei and grumped. Then he sat down and stole a Pop-Tart.

Rei grinned, taking that as tacit agreement that he'd cooperate (at least somewhat) and went to go sit with her feet in the stream again.

Once that was settled, Bruce went over to Tony.

"This should make things interesting," he commented.

"No kidding," Tony muttered. He and Bruce had both gone back to gather up a few things they'd need, including a set of armor. Because Tony refused to go without any armor.

"Well, maybe he'll cheer up."

Bruce just raised an eyebrow. Yeah, a Logan would cheer up on his own right around the time the world ended.

Tony snickered at the look. He knew the odds as well. But hey, he'd be fun to poke fun at, if nothing else.

"So this is more than kind of awesome," Faye commented to Rei. She grinned. "Honestly. Wolverine. He's got to be so quintessentially Marvel, it's just..." She trailed off.

Rei grinned. "I know. Although we'll have to see how he does with Tony." She shook her head and then looked at Logan. "Do you prefer I call you Wolverine or Logan?"

He looked at her for a moment before he shrugged. "I'll answer to either."

"That wasn't a proper answer."

"Observant, aren't you?"

Faye bit her lip to keep from letting slip the comments that immediately sprung to mind as she listened to the two.

"It might be easier if you pick one," she said, looking at Logan.

"Fine. Logan." He shrugged. He really didn't care.

"Alright. Logan, then." Rei smiled, aware that she'd won a small victory (even if it was with Faye's help).

Once Faye had dangled her feet in the stream long enough, she got up and went to sit down under a tree and fiddle with her dex for a while. She still wanted to figure out what all it did.

Rei settled down as well to flip through her dex and look through the map locations. Because she was curious to see where else they could go.

Faye was doing the same.

"Where do you see that looks interesting?" she asked, looking at Rei.

"Marvel is pretty big. There's also DC-land a little ways away. There's a Black Jewels territory. All of the book series have one, actually." Rei grinned broadly.
