Tyrvinn grinned, "For a genius like you it was probably still easy after studying a mountain of books in between," he shot back playfully. The vampire looked at his new found master with interest as she pulled a chair up to sit in front of him and began to explain the concept of shock to him. It sounded simple enough to him but he remembered that she had said it was the hardest to control. Still, this excited the young fledgeling as he readied himself for the current that was going to enter his body. Holding out his hand, Alise smiled and then it happened so quickly Tyr was almost unable to react. The current flowed through his hand and up his arm, tensing all of his muscles and causing him to jump slightly with a grunt.

Shaking his head at the failure he pushed it out of mind, "Again. Please." Once again the Breton woman sent the shock through his hand and it went rushing through his nerves. He failed to catch it. Stretching out his hand and giving it a quick shake, Tyrvinn took a deep breath and have her the nod to continue. Needless to say he failed again. But he continued at it. The pain of the shock wasn't much but the pain of failure was infuriating. He'd learned how to raise the dead after a simple explanation and now he was struggling to reverse a small current of electricity, let alone stop it.

This went on for a long while before the vampire stood up. He was frustrated. "Give me a minute," he requested as he walked around trying to calm the anger that was building up in him. He had a grasp on the flow. Hell he was sure he was close to being able to stop it. That to him was the tricky part. How was he suppose to stop the flow? It was simple enough to redirect it, but why couldn't he stop it? He stalked around the room in a graceful but eerily silent manner then suddenly stopped. "Wait a minute." Maybe his mindset had been wrong this entire time? Slapping himself in the forehead the man went back to his chair.

"Okay I'm ready," he said as he extended his hand back out with a determined look in his eyes.

Ali was very glad to see the man was working hard. A normal living human would have stopped by now. Not because they wanted too, but because it only took so long before they lost all feeling in their arms. Even Alise could not feel her finger tips at the moment. At least in her left hand where she was sending the shocks. It made her think she needed to practice a bit with her electricity. Alise was a bit out of touch with it. THat did not mean she was in danger of coarse. Once Tyrvinn stepped away for a moment, Alise herself got up. She started casting lightning between her two hands. Burning off the burning energy that had been building in her fingers. Once done, she shook her arm. She was quiet as she allowed Tyrvinn to concentrate. Once he was ready, Alise got back in her seat. Taking the hands of Tyrvinn.

"It feels like it moves very quickly, doesn't it?" Alise said. She could tell he was trying to change the way he was trying to grasp the energy. "The Trick is to remember it is actually moving slow. Your body uses the same power to live every day." He was moving, so he was alive after all... or close enough. "I like to catch the power just as it hits my shoulder, because it is trying to hit my brain. I bring it down to my stomach, and back up threw my other arm. Avoiding my heart and brain all together." Alise said. Telling him her secret. "When in a battle, I pull the energy from the center of my body. When I absorb magic, that is where it goes. It makes handing things very easy."

"I'm going to send another current now. If you catch it and send it to me, be prepared. I'm sending it back out."

The Nord sat silently as he listened to his master speak giving her nods of understanding. What she was telling him was really similar to the conclusion that he had come to but with some minor differences. With his body being slightly different, he could afford to use some of the more dangerous paths through his body though he was still reluctant to allow anything to his brain. He was sure that his heart wasn't beating so that wasn't really an issue and he wondered if it would hurt him if he tried. There was only one way to find out though, so he prepared his self again for the charges. Once he was ready, he gave the go ahead.

This time, the charge flowed through his shoulder then to his heart and down the other side and out of his opposite hand. It had worked, but he didn't bother to celebrate since Alise had said that she was going to continue the cycle between them. Now that he fully understood it, and had a feel for it, this was fairly simple. The two kept at it for a while afterwards, Tyr figured it was so that he had a true feeling for shock and he knew how to control it through his body. Doing his duty as a student he stayed diligent and kept at it until his master said that they were done.

Alise kept the current going. She had a smile on her face when he was finally able to pass it back to her. They went for a good half and hour straight, no breaks, no stopping. Tyrvinn stayed in concentration, which was also just part of a meditation process. She decided to stop the charge, grasping it in her opposite hand which she lifted away from Tyrvinn's slowly. In between there was lightning shooting back and forth. She quickly brought his other hand over, giving him the control, and when the time was right, she pulled away. Tyrvinn had the power of shock between both of his hands. Proving he would control the current. He would need to supply it more power though to keep it going. Something that would take a bit of time to learn. Alise got up and stepped back.

"Thats all you." Alise told him. She was not supplying him with any more power. Between his hands was a very weak current, but one none the less. In no time he would learn the balance to make it stronger and stronger. Alise smiled at her new student. She had never had such an easy time teaching someone. And someone so willing to learn. Most mages were very spoiled. Having come from something more, where they were given everything. You could say the same for Alise, and you may have been true.

"Go ahead and attack me with it." Alise told Tyrvinn. Taking a few steps back and holding up a ward to defend herself.

They continued their cycle of rotating the shock charge for what seemed like forever. Tyrvinn was honestly bored with it but knew there was a purpose for their training, even if he didn't see or know it. Then suddenly Alise switched it up on him. She trapped the charge between their hands, or rather they held the charge there together. It was still weak but admittedly there was a good deal of heat that had built up from the continuous passing they had done. Then she just suddenly slid his hand between hers and the charge leaving it trapped in his hands and growing weaker by the second.

She told him it was up to him to sustain it and attack her with it. Sustaining it was a challenge in and of itself let alone attacking her with it. "Hold on, hold on," he said when she raised the ward. It took him a moment to figure out how to actually tap into his magicka to add to the charge but once he did, the shock grew both immediately and immensely in size. It was large enough now that he could spread his hands out a little as the charge crackled. Though it probably wasn't as dangerous as he thought it looked since it was a minor spell. Still now that he had the actual spell in hand he felt like he was doing something special.

Looking up at Alise who now held the ward up again, he grinned a little mischievously, "Alright, I'm ready now," he announced as he ushered the charge towards her. The current flew from his fingertips almost instantly branching out and smashing into the ward although the sparks died when they hit the magical shield. He kept it up for a few moments before stopping. "Okay. I think I need a break. My hands aren't quite adapted to use of lightening. They're going numb," he laughed. Taking his seat again he smiled as he looked to his teacher, "Thank you again for teaching me. I really appreciate it Ali."

Alise kept her magic upi for as long as she could. Even with the constant ware on her body, she could still of coarse out caste Tyrvinn. Which was good for teaching him. Alise of coarse could not plow down a line of men with only a sword in hand, but still. It was something. She had only been using minor spells for the day also, so the tiring part was just her boredom in practice. She hated teaching mages. But for some reason, Tyrvinn was proving to be fun to work with. Maybe it was because he could see the value in a good teacher, instead of demanding to move onto something else. "Your hands are going numb? That is good. It means you are doing it right. For now on we'll do stress tests against my wards. That way you will learn faster." Alise told Tyrvinn with a smile when he told her he was done for the day.

"It is my pleasure. It is something I hated doing at the college, but you are different. I'm actually enjoying myself teaching you." Alise told Tyrvinn. She was being genuine. This road they were on now was going to be a challenging one, that was true. But something was on Alise's mind. "Tyrvinn, when do you think is the soonist we can leave this place?" She asked him suddenly. "I'm sure you dont notice it very much, but the place smells of death and rot. I feel myself getting sick as we stay.." Alise told him. It also could be the amount of potions she consumed not too long ago, but still. "We can wait until night fall if you wish of coarse."

Stretching out his tired and tingling fingers, the newborn vampire gave his teacher a nod, "Whatever you think is best." Tyr was ready to learn and wanted to learn as much as he could as fast as he could but he knew it would be a while before his magic was even remotely good enough to compare to Alise's power. That was his ultimate goal. To be almost as strong as she was. It was unlikely that he would overcome her with their racial traits but he could damn well strive to strike fear into people's hearts when they faced him. With both magic and might. "I have a question," he interjected when the thought crossed his mind. "You said lightning is the most difficult to handle, does that make it the strongest type of destruction spells as well?" He was unsure if the power simply depended upon the user or if the spells were inherently more or less powerful than the other.

Smiling at the compliment, Tyrvinn made an elaborate bowing gesture, "I'm glad my will to learn is providing you with some pleasure. I hope I don't get to be too pig-headed." He laughed a bit at his comment before the conversations shifted to finding a new place to stay. "We can leave now or tonight. Whichever you prefer. But if we leave now, I need a hood to cover my face. The sun is sort of hard of me now." He wasn't sure how much Alise had recovered but maybe it would help her recovery to get out of this atmosphere. Personally, the vampire liked it. The smell of death and blood was a sweet scent to his nose but he realized that this must smell awful to her.

"In a few hours at night will probably be better for the both of us." Alise said after a second of thought. She did not wish to risk Tyrvinn's life out in the sun. It was the last thing they needed after all. But at night there would be far less guards on the road. Just what was needed of them. It had been four days now since the attack, and therefore hopefully the roads would be less guarded. But to be safe, staying in the woods would probably be for the best. Alise wished to head to a hold. Mainly to stock up on some items they would need. But they would need to head in the opposite direction of Riften. Just to avoid the guards. Alise thought maybe to the north to Windhelm. From there with the racial mix of the city, maybe slipping in one Vampire would be easy. Mainly because they would be more fixated on the small Breton rather then the large Nord. Alise told the plan to Tyrvinn. She was not sure where they were in Skyrim. Maybe they were closer to Whiterun... "Would you rather Windhelm or Whiterun to stock up?" Alise asked the vampire seated across from her.

Once the plan had been decided, Alise laid back down on one of the bed rolls she brought over closer to the fire. She decided sleep for the time being until nightfall would be best. "You should get some rest too Ty." Alise mentioned as she turned into her back. An arm was rested under her head, while the other was across her stomach. She was staring up at the ceiling as she escaped into her head. Soon allowing sleep to overcome her.

Although Alise did not sleep easy. She was plagued with nightmares, always had been when falling into a deep sleep. It was one of the reasons she did not sleep for very long at one time. In her dream, she felt a burning threw her body as she looked at the artifact. A large spinning sphere, coded in ancient writing. It opened slightly and closed again. But the sphere was gone. It had been taken. But still something was off. It seemed just too easy. The uneasiness was what had been bothering the Breton. Suddenly, she was looking over a scenic view. Alise had just broken into a fort filled with Mages and recovered several items that had been stolen from the college, three of which were books. But just after, she looked over the cliff, and the thought of freedom crossed her mind. That fort had not been the first time she killed someone, but it was the first time she thought of leaving her studies.

Tyrvinn agreed with Alise. Leaving at night would probably be best for the two of them and it would be much more comfortable for him. He'd found out quickly that being a vampire meant having an aversion to the sun. Although, he could walk out into the daylight, it was hard on him and made him feel weaker than normal. With that being the case it probably affected his nocturnal influenced powers as well. Probably something he should look into for future references. They will have to travel at some point during the day, so he might as well find out what all of his strengths and weaknesses were. He would try and experiment before they left while Alise was sleep. He did know for sure that his new body had no need for sleep at all. So sleeping was a luxury he could afford when he wanted. It was not something that was needed. An interesting little tid bit.

After hearing the plan from Alise she seemed to still not have a good grasp of Skyrim's geography which was fine. She only came here to attend the college at first and not necessarily to spend her life here, but it was still a little comical to an extent. Thinking on which would be best, it didn't take him long to be sure of his answer, "We should go to Windhelm. The town is more diverse than most here in Skyrim although they are not necessarily more tolerant than others, you won't feel out of place or get any stares for what you are. Not to mention it's a little bit closer than Whiterun though the distance isn't enough to matter." He thought about where they were again before he finished, "We can take the main road straight north and will take us straight to Windhelm, so it's the easiest road traveled."

Now that they had decided on that Alise urged him to rest. The Nord shook his head, "You rest. I don't need to. My body doesn't get tired anymore." He had found out that he never seemed to get a tired feeling when they were practicing. He knew that he should've been getting fatigued but he wasn't. All that had happened was his magicka was being depleted but it was almost completely restored now. It had been a little different when he was hunting. His stamina seemed to last forever. But then again he'd always had good stamina since he was a fighter and practiced so much.

Walking out into the sun the vampire decided it was time to test his body during the day. So he jolted off into the woods until nightfall.

---

When he returned it was finally almost nightfall. The sun was almost completely gone from the horizon and the cave held signs that Alise was stirring. Tyr decided to stay at the front of the cave and await his partner. She would grab what she needed and then they would depart. As they traveled to Windhelm, which would likely take a day and a half on foot, the vampire would have to share what he learned about his body during her nap. To his dismay, this body was very weak during the daytime. Or more accurately, in the sunlight. The lean Nord let out a heavy sigh as he waited. His new life would mean balancing things on a more careful scale. He wouldn't be able to afford to fight people or do things when and where he wanted anymore. His mind was going to be a much more important muscle now that he was a vampire.

The plan was decided, which allowed Alise to do only one thing. Rest. Which she had been trying to do for a few hours now. Going in and out of sleep every few hours before the woman got sick from the whole ordeel. She got up, findng herself alone in the cavern. Tyrvinn must have one out to work with his body. Alise was still a bit in shock over how much they needed to learn about Tyrvinn now. Himself included. Although the male seemed alright with the new changes, Alise simply hoped he would not require human blood. Maybe he would though. Feeding from animals may not have been the same. But it was something only time would tell. Alise ventured further into the caverns. Finding a few items they could use for the time being. Including a steel sword for Tyrvinn. Which Alise enchanted to restore his health and stamina. When on the road, it was good for the nord to have a weapon. And thought draining weapons were always good.

Alise as she ventured further, also found an underground stream. It was there she finally was able to wash the blood dirt and overall muck from her body. But upon taking her clothing off, Alise found them to be ruined. She had the same outfit for years. They were clothing from her home. It was how she got out of wearing the heavy mages robes often found in skyrim. She never wanted to be an obvious mage after all. But with all the holes, and sewn patches, she figured it was time to find something new. Which she did while going threw the coven's old belongings... They did not need them any more. A men's miner shirt and a pair of brown leather pants were simple enough. But Alise also found a waist cincher to go over the shirt, and a pair of thigh-high brown boots. The Breton figured they were clothing from the vampire's victims. The shirt of coarse was too large for the woman, so it hung lower, showing a few additional tattoo's on her chest in the same sort of symbols surrounding her face.

After packing the small satchel, Alise headed to the cave entrance. She was surprised to see Tyrvinn waiting for her. He seemed worn out, but mainly from the sun and not so much from his use of power. How the man kept moving really made the Breton feel inferior. She was exhausted while he continued to run for miles. Alise was fine now though. Or rather, better than the day previous. "I found a few things of jewelry to sell." Alise told the male. They would need a bit of money after all. Since Alise knew she did not have anything. She was not sure about Tyrvinn. "I also enchanted a steel sword for you. Just so you will have a weapon in your hand." It was comical how tall the blade stood on the small woman. It was nearly as tall as her shoulders. One thing Tyrvinn would notice was how the mage had a small dagger tied onto her belt. It was sheathed, but still there. "How was the day light?" Alise had to ask. She was curious how much it weakened him. It did not kill the male obviously. So that was a relief.

Tyr heard his friend's approach long before she was at his side. Advantage of being a vampire. He glanced over his shoulder to see her with a new set of clothes that probably belonged to one of the previous vampire's victims. Both the top and bottoms were too big for her which seemed a bit funny to look at but honestly, the Nord was a bit too tired to make any jokes. Now that the sun was setting he was starting to feel his energy coming back again. This body was a curse and a blessing all in one. Taking the sword from the woman as she handed it to him, he examined it for a moment. "A health drain enchantment? I like the way you think," he responded with a shallow grin.

Glancing over the woman once more, he took notice of the dagger on her hip. She hasn't really had any time to practice with it the past few days thanks to her having to take care of him. They could remedy that on the road. Or at least discuss it, since she could probably visualize the motions after practicing them as hard as they had the other day. She had the basics down. The rest was all practice. Or rather. . . Application. When she asked him about the daylight, the vampire simply shook his head. "It's exhausting for me," he replied.

Moving from his spot he started heading out towards the road. "It's not good for me to be in the sun. I could literally tire myself out to the point where I would be unable to move until nightfall. My body doesn't regenerate in the sun." The thought was a little ridiculous to him even though he knew it to be true. "Oh and if we happen to run up on some people around my size tonight, be prepared. I'm going to kill them and take their stuff. I need a change of clothes." If he hadn't have already brought himself to terms with the idea -which didn't take him long- it would have sounded really cold blooded even for him. But for some reason, Tyr found that he was feeling less and less compassionate as the days wore on. His feelings for Alise had not changed. He still treasured her company, but even as a bandit he valued life far more than he did at this point. He didn't know the reason why or care either.

Shifting to the topic of his body again without so much as a breath of hesitation, Tyrvinn knew there were things that he needed to explain. "I know that I need to share with you the things that I know about my body since we're traveling together. I'm sorry that you have to deal with a burden like this, and I wish this wasn't so touch and go but it is." Pausing for a moment to gather all of his thoughts he continued, "My body is obviously vulnerable during the daylight. I'm find in the daytime so long as I'm out of the sunlight. That mainly means caves, large fortified windowless castles or anyplace that doesn't allow sunlight to shine through."

Unsheathing his new temporary steel sword, the Nord gave it a few practice swings. He could see the glow of the enchantment flowing as his sword pierced the space around him. It was nice. "The regeneration applies to my magicka and health as well I'm assuming, so I need to be extra careful about picking my battles. Under the cover of the night everything is normal. Or vampire normal," he said with a little more of a smile than earlier. The male continued to share things about vampirehood as they walked north towards Windhelm.

As the sun finally faded over the horizon, Tyrvinn had shared all that he knew so far. He told her about all of his vampire abilities such as his sight, hearing and his enhanced speed and strength. She knew about some of this already of course but he went over everything just in case. He explained his regenerative abilities and how they only applied so long as he wasn't exposed to sunlight. He told her about the spells that he knew had been learned innately even if he couldn't use them immediately, like his necromancy and his vampiric drain and a few others. He also hinted at the secret that he'd been keeping to himself but in an extremely vague manner and had mixed it in with some of the other explanations in hopes that Alise wouldn't notice. The transformation was a subject that he was unsure of. He had tried it out during his experimentation time earlier and noticed that he becomes far stronger in the form, but as long as he's in the daylight, he suffers from the same symptoms of his normal state.

Now that they were done discussing him, the male asked about her carrying the dagger, "I noticed you have a dagger on your hip. You intend to heed my advice I assume?" Now that it was night time his golden-orange eyes glowed beautifully, but he needed a hood to disguise himself. He knew that his eyes would set him apart from normal people even if they had no idea what he was.

(( So I happened to run up on a decent pic of what my character looks like in the face at least lol Tyrvinn ))

Alise took all the knowledge he gave her in. Grasping it like a long sword, and sheathing it within her mind. It was all things she would need to watch and be careful. He did not burn up in the sun, which was wonderful. It meant in case of an emergency, they could travel in the sun light. And living indoors most of her life, it was not like Alise needed to be out in the sun. Or at least her health did not depend on it. She was already quite pale due to her northern upbringing. So it would not kill her either way. Because of all the energy Tyrvinn now possessed, it did mean Alise would have to admit her weaknesses. She still required sleep, normal food, among other things. But it was a small flaw she would get over.

"It is not a burden. Merely a way of life." Alise told Tyrvinn. To be honest, even if he had not been changed, they would probably travel at night. For the same reasons. Less people, less creatures, just easier all around. He gave the new sword a few swings. "I believe so. I haven'y practiced in a bit, and I didn't have the supplies I needed. So its a bit weaker than normal. But I do have two spare soul shards if needed." Alise told him. She knew it would at least make it to Windhelm. There they would probably upgrade all around.

They began their journey. Walking along the dark roads. He asked about her dagger, to which Alise responded, "Yes. Just in case. The last time I was on the road, my life nearly ended. Until some wonderful bandit came to my aid. Or rather, took my things." Alise said with a small smile. There was a gold necklace the old guild leader took from the pillage. Alise honestly did not care, but liked to remind Tyrvinn she had found it first. Tyrvinn shared everything in more detail with her. More information she locked away into her mind. She found it amazing how Tyrvinn explored the limitations of his body knowing full well it may have killed him. It reminded Alise of herself. The extent she would put her body threw just to learn that spell. Just to gain the extra advantage. In the distance she could heard a few wolves howling. No more than three all together. "They are easy to take out with swords. But how about you try your lightning?" Alise asked. Tyrvinn did not have to of coarse. But Alise had a feeling he would love too. Especially since his weapon needed to he spared for the time being.

((Awesome! Looks cool. But now your going to make me search xD))

It gladdened the Nord that his companion could see this transformation in such a positive light. They'd been through quite a bit in the past few days and on no small scale was a bunch of it his fault. Alise was still recovering from what Ty knew to be a near overdose on those potions. He was amazed that her compact body was still able to function even remotely normally at the rate that it was. Sometimes, Ali showed off a resilience that even most Nords would be in awe of. The woman had a special kind of strength about her. It made him smile when he thought about it. "I suppose it is a way of life."

At her mentioning the sword enchantment's strength, the male shrugged at her modest reply. "I don't need anything overly powerful. I know my way around a sword and you know your way around magic. I have no doubt that it will suffice for our little two day expedition. I hope I do get to try it out before we get there though." It would take two days to get there assuming they were only going to travel at night, which seemed to be the plan at the moment, but they could always discuss that further at dawn. Barring any unexpected events the journey should be fairly straightforward and uneventful. Which would give them plenty of time for discussion. Their favorite pastime together.

Tyrvinn laughed at the woman's rendition of the meeting, "I would have been a poor bandit if I didn't take your things. As I recall, that's what bandits do." The thought was a bit of a somber one but the vampire didn't allow his past life affect the mood. What he wondered now was what would they do with their lives now? Tyr had an eternity to live, barring he didn't get himself killed idiotically and Alise had seventy or eighty years to go? Mages lived much longer lives that normal people or warriors certainly so she would be old and kicking for around one hundred years he assumed. While that may have seemed like a long time to him when he was alive, what exactly was a hundred years to an eternal being? Likely nothing. Still, he had eighty more years with her so he would enjoy that company while it lasted.

Then the howls came. They weren't far down the road and there were only a handful of them.Towering over his friend, he looked down at her as she insisted that he take this time to practice with his lightning. "Not a bad suggestion," he replied with a grin. Opening and closing his hand a few times to get his "blood going" the vampire's eyes had long since shifted into night vision mode. He could see them clearly, but they were still quite a few feet outside his range. "Stay here. I want to be sure that they focus on me," he told his sensei.

As he closed the space between them, he could see the warning they gave him as muzzle of the large dogs furrowed and their deep growls echoed in his direction. The wolves were twice as big as a normal dog and the largest one was even bigger than that but they were all thin. They were obviously starving for a meal or else they wouldn't be attacking men. Wolves avoided people. Most of the time.

His hands started to crackle a bit as the lightning gathered in his palms and jumped around in his hands. The first of the native brown wolves attacked. It lunged viciously at Tyr's face. Using his newfound reflexes, the vampire dipped down and launched his hand upward to snatch the wolf's throat before slamming it to the ground and sending a violent surge of lightning through its body. He could hear the other two already running at him, and he had killed the first now. Before he even looked up he was already firing lightning with his off hand at the nearest wolf which stalled it in its tracks.

By the time he looked up, the last wolf was on him. He lunged on top of him, but Tyrvinn was a fighter. Had been all of his previous life, and would continue to be. He used the beast's momentum to toss it over him as he tucked and rolled to get back to his feet quickly. As he turned around the wolf had already scrambled back to its feet and was racing back towards him. Shooting off a quick bolt of lightning the beast just took the shock and kept coming. Admittedly it was bigger than the other two. Probably the alpha male. Still, this was a little embarrassing. So he allowed the wolf to attack again but this time, he let it bite into his forearm. Once it had clamped down on him. He dug his nails into the creature's head and let the waves of electricity flow freely from his hand. It was dead within moments.

Prying the mouth off of his arm he tossed the carcass off to the side and stared down at his bleeding arm for a moment. Once he had regained his senses he turned back to his partner, "Well? How was the show?"
