Amy was quiet for a moment.

"I'd like a complete version very much," she said softly. She looked at her sister. "And it works?"

"So far it works fine," Lea said with a nod. "It needed a bit of tweaking, but nothing serious."

"What kind of tweaking?" Amy asked. Because that was something she wanted to know ahead of time.

"My program was a bit overactive, giving me too much information, so he made a subroutine to make it ask before presenting me with the Internet," Lea said with a shrug. "I don't think that would happen with yours, I know he's working on toning yours down. But other than that, I have no idea what to expect from a fully functional finished product."

Amy nodded, thinking about that.

"Yours probably overreacted because of your affinity to technology," she said. "Mine won't do that, I think." She bit her lip slightly. "It'll be nice, not having to worry about keeping control all the time."

Lea nodded and smiled a bit. "I wanted to let you know so you'd be prepared. I want to get yours done ASAP. So we need to get a current sample of your Extremis."

Amy hesitated, and then nodded.

"Alright," she said. "Let's get this fixed."

Lea put the kitten down and took her sister's hand, walking with her back down to the lab so they could get a sample.

Amy walked with her, a bit anxious. Having her Extremis fixed always seemed like an unattainable thing, and now it was within reach.

Lea smiled a bit. "Just relax," she said quietly. "We'll get this worked out."

"As long as it works," Amy said. That was her biggest concern. She wanted so much for it to work that she wasn't sure what would happen if it didn't.

"It will. It might not work how we expect the first time, but we're going to make it work." Lea would make sure of that herself if she had to live off coffee and her Extremis for a week.

Amy just nodded and followed her sister. She was going to be anxious until she was certain the upgrade would work, that wasn't going to change.

Lea took her down to the lab and got Bruce to get a blood sample from her. She didn't bother Tony, but only because she could see he was already working on new code.

Amy quietly let Bruce take the blood sample, not even bothering with the bandaid he offered afterwards. Her Extremis was already healing the little puncture, sealing it up with a spark and a brief orange glow.

"Thanks, Bruce," Lea said, shooting him a quick smile before she focused on Amy again. "Want to go get some food? Or come help me bake or something?"

Amy almost refused, but then nodded.

"Sure," she said. "Baking isn't a bad idea." It would keep her busy, at any rate, which she was sure was the whole point.

Lea grinned and nodded, just looking forward to being able to spend some time with her sister for a while and heading up to the kitchen.

Amy followed. She was antsy and anxious, but she wasn't a fidgeter like Lea could be. She carefully kept her mental powers to herself, though.

Lea just turned on some music that they both liked and relaxed, settling into cooking and baking, making things Amy had shown a preference for.

Amy ended up just being an extra set of hands, following Lea's instructions. She leaned against the counter a bit once the cookies had gone into the oven.

Lea leaned next to her. "Anything in particular you want for dinner?" she asked, looking over at Amy.

"Not really," Amy replied, shaking her head. "You don't have to coddle me, you know. I'm fine."

"I'm not coddling you. We haven't spent much time together and I want to make you food." Lea frowned a bit at her.

"Making my favorite pastries, and then asking if I want my favorite dinner," Amy pointed out. "It feels like you're coddling me for some reason."
