"Maybe..." Amy said. She sighed. She was actually starting to like New York. It was easy to fit in to the city. "I hate that you have to give up such a good job, though. You'll never find another one like it."

"I know." And Lea hated that. She liked working at SI, she liked the challenge that Tony presented. "But we can't stay here, right? I mean, they found us, it's not like they're just going to leave us alone."

Amy was quiet for a few seconds.

"Are we really alone this time, though?" she asked finally. "I mean... There was Iron Man this time."

Lea was quiet for a moment. "Do we want to trust him?" she asked quietly. "I haven't told him very much at all, and I know he'll want to know as much as he can. If we think we can trust him, I can ask him for help." Even if she would hate it a bit.

"I think that for the moment, he's the lesser of two evils," Amy said. "You said he knows about Extremis, right? And he hasn't called the government or carted us off to be experimented on. So I think we may be okay for now."

Leandra sighed. "Alright. I'll send him a message, then, see if he's even willing to help." She walked over to her computer, grimacing a bit. She hated to ask for help, but she knew they had to.

Amy nodded.

"Alright," she said. "Let me know what the verdict is."

Lea nodded and sent a quick message to Tony.

Thank you for your help yesterday. My sister and I decided we don't really want to leave town, but we might need some help to, y'know, not get caught.

Tony blinked when he saw the message come in.

I take it things like that happen often? Popular, huh?

Oh yeah. Real popular. Our club keeps trying to wrangle us back into line. We left when we decided we didn't like their rules.

Leandra was starting to get nervous as she typed.

My kind of girls. Tony grinned. I might be persuaded to help, if you tell me what exactly is going on.

Lea sighed. Might be easier to explain in person, she sent back cautiously.

Great, see you tomorrow, then. Come straight to the lab. Because of course Tony assumed she still worked for him.

Lea shook her head at his presumption and stopped typing.

"I'm going to talk to him first thing tomorrow," she told Amy. "He'll decide then if he's going to help us or not."

Amy nodded.

"Alright," she said. "I think I'm off tomorrow, so I'll decide whether or not to quit once you talk to him."

"Alright." Lea sighed. "If he doesn't want to help, we can find somewhere else to go, for a little while."

Amy nodded again.

"I'll narrow a place down while you're talking to him," she said. "I think I can have us ready to go if we need to be."

Lea nodded. "Well, for the moment, I'll go ahead and cook, and tomorrow we'll know if we need to leave or not."

"Alright." Going over, Amy hugged her sister. "Thanks for coming for me," she said.

Lea returned the hug. "I always will," she said quietly. "Don't doubt that."

"Your life would be so much easier if you didn't have to look after me," Amy said. "I know that. I appreciate you helping me."

"No problem. My life might be easier, but we don't know that. Besides, you're my twin, it's not like I'm going to let them get their paws on you." Lea grinned.

Amy hugged her again.

"Still," she said. "Thanks."

"No problem. Don't ever doubt that I will help you however I can." Lea smiled a bit before she got back to working on dinner.

Amy let her sister get back to cooking, and she started narrowing down their list of places to move.
