"Yeah, but it wasn't this bad, you never had urges like this," Lea pointed out. "You couldn't do as much before the injections."

Amy was quiet. She knew Lea was right, but she couldn't help it. She still felt like she was a problem for her sister.

Lea hugged her again. "Come on, let's go settle in for the night, in the morning you can get plenty of calming tea."

Amy nodded and snuggled into the hug. Settling in sounded good.

Lea encouraged her to get settled in, going to take a quick shower before settling in with her sister for the night.

Amy didn't end up drifting off to sleep until Lea was settled in as well. She snuggled in next to her sister and stayed close, taking comfort in the contact.

Lea got up a bit later than normal, enjoying the contact too much to just give it up. Stretching a bit, she got out of bed reluctantly, grumbling to herself.

Amy whined a bit as she woke up, not wanting to let her sister go. She did, though, and dragged herself out of bed to shower.

Lea made toast for both of them, making some coffee for herself. She had a bit of extra time to get ready, after all, since all she had to do was go downstairs.

Amy took the toast on her way out. She had herself timed so that she would arrive at work with just enough time to make herself tea before she had to face real people, so she was out the door quickly.

Lea left shortly after Amy, heading down to R&D. She was both dreading and looking forward to working with Tony.

So she arrived a little early, actually, heading over to where she figured Tony would be.

Tony was up to his eyes in formulae and numbers, looking through what he already had by way of information on Extremis and trying to sort it into some semblance of order. There was quite a bit to go through, especially since he'd had Jarvis gather more external information at some point overnight, although he wasn't sure exactly how long ago it was.

Lea spotted him and snorted. Well, he looked busy. So she meandered off to go find supplies to make another headband, since she still had the programming on her computer. She just needed to make it. So she settled down a little ways away with some tools and various parts of things.

Tony blinked when he heard someone else tinkering in his workshop. He was used to Bruce hanging around, but Bruce never really tinkered at all. This was definite tinkering. So he went to see what it was.

"What are you doing?" he asked when he found Leandra.

"Working," Lea said, glancing up at him. "Something for Amy to help her keep in control." She tapped something into place gently and fiddled a bit before she nodded. All it needed was the program and it would be ready.

"Who said you could touch my stuff?" Tony asked, more out of habit than anything. He was looking at the gadget curiously. "And what exactly is it? I can't imagine how that could be useful, it's so bulky and inelegant."

Lea shot him a withering look, tensing and getting defensive. "It's a headband, it looks normal for her to wear it when she's working, so it's functional in multiple ways."

"A headband?" Tony asked. He leaned in closer, looking at it. "What's it for? Obviously not for hair, clearly, so you can't be a smartass about it because I'm the only smartass allowed in these labs."

Lea snorted at that. "I mentioned she has urges, right? She can manipulate people, and the injected Extremis upped that from "planting suggestions" to "wanting to create a harem of mind-slaves all the time". So this nixes the urges so she can work in the coffee shop safely. I just have to program it." She tapped the headband a few times with a nail.

"It's just a patch," Tony said as he studied the band. "It's not fixing anything, it's just pushing it under the rug." He glanced at her. "I might be able to program a real fix, depending on how the tests go."

"Yea well it's the best I could do given what I've got." Lea shrugged. "It's a patch, but it lets her live without worrying all the time, and I'd rather she have a patch than nothing. And if the tests work, then we can work on actually fixing it."

"How did you even get this to work in the first place?" Tony asked as he looked it over again. "It looks like it's held together with duct tape and spit, like seriously." Although he was kind of impressed. If she could do that with almost nothing, what could she do with proper everything?

Lea rolled her eyes and got to her feet. "Come with me to give it to Amy if you want, otherwise you'll just have to trust that it works." She brushed herself off before stretching so she could head upstairs again to install the programming.

"I'm sure I'll see it later," Tony said. "She's got to come back some time, right?" It made sense to him, at least, and it gave him an excuse to stay in his lab longer. Not that he needed one.

Lea snorted. "I'll be back in half an hour or so, then. And then if you're ever actually ready we can start testing." She headed for the elevator.
