Tony was right on it as soon as the alarms in the system were tripped. Once he found Lea's signature again, he traced it back as far as it would go, and it actually gave him a hit on a location. He barely paused to make sure he had a definite destination in mind before he went to suit up.

Lea gave up after a few minutes and retreated again, going back to actually working to placate her programming and Sean. Now she just had to wait and see if he noticed.

It took a few hours, but Tony managed to find where Lea was being kept, and he was Not Pleased. And when Tony Stark was Not Pleased, things tended to explode with extreme prejudice.

He found he didn't have much trouble tearing through the compound to find her.

Lea heard the explosions, and then she felt his suit. She didn't just know he was coming, she felt his suit. Freaking out just a bit, she moved across the room, feeling him approaching and fighting back the instinct to attack him.

Tony tore the door clean off its hinges and looked inside the room. When he saw Lea, the faceplate went up.

"There you are!" he said, going into the room. "Are you hurt? I can have a doctor waiting for you, if they hurt you I swear I'll kill them all, I'm going to blow up this whole goddamn complex anyways, it needs to disappear."

"I'm not hurt," Lea said after a moment, though she was fighting hard against the urge to examine the suit in close detail as she took it apart to replicate.

"Come on, let's get you home, then," Tony said, reaching for her. "And so I can raze this place to the ground."

Lea flinched a bit when that humming energy got closer to her. "I-I don't think that's a good idea," she said, swallowing. "I'll find my own way out and meet you."

Tony paused when she flinched.

"How is it not a good idea to get out of here now?" he asked. "Come on, we should get out of here. The quickest way is straight up and out."

"No, really, really not a good idea." Lea took a few steps back, her hands clenched into tight fists at her sides to keep her from picking at the suit. "I'll meet you outside, really, no one will bother me, not with you blasting the building."

Tony looked like he wanted to argue, but something in the way she was standing made him pause.

"Fine," he said. "Five minutes, or I'm coming back for you."

Lea nodded and left the room, heading through the hallways hurriedly. Fortunately, several people were heading for the exits, so it was easy to hide in the crowd so Sean couldn't find her.

She wasn't so lucky, though, when a portion of the ceiling fell in front of the group she was with, and she was stuck with the choice of helping a civilian out or getting out herself. She swore and started to help the civilian out.

Once the five (alright, maybe it had been seven or so) minutes were up, Tony did a quick scan of the building to make sure Lea wasn't still in it. He swore when he found her still inside, and went to go see what was holding her up. Damn it, they needed to be gone already.

Lea helped the civilian get outside, even as she felt Tony's suit get closer. It still freaked her out, but she needed to deal with it, or at least ignore it, until they got back to the Tower.

It didn't take Tony long to get there.

"Come on, what's the hold-up?" he asked, moving some of the debris out of the way so they had a clear way out.

"Just had to do a bit of digging ourselves out," Lea said, even as the civilian made a mad dash for freedom. She could hear sirens in the distance already, and she focused on those instead of Tony. "That everything you needed to do?"

For a moment, Tony wanted to say no, that he still had to destroy the place to its foundation. But he needed to get Lea out, so he nodded.

"Yeah," he said. "Come on, there should be a jet waiting to take us back."

Lea nodded. "Well, lead on," she said with a wave. She promptly stuffed her hands back in her pockets.

Tony nodded and kept the way clear so she could get out. As soon a they were out of the building, he gestured towards the private airstrip where a small jet was waiting.

"Go," he said, "quick."

Lea wasted no time getting into the plane, relieved when she had no compulsion to pick and poke and prod and take it apart. She slumped back in a seat, rubbing her temples.

As soon as they were on the plane, Tony took off the armor. It would be easy enough to get back into it if he had to, but he didn't foresee the need. When he glanced over at Lea, he paused.

"You alright?" he asked.

Lea had tensed up again as he approached but she forced herself to nod. "Yeah. Headache." She kept one hand pressed over her eyes though, not even needing to see the armor or his Arc to tell exactly where it all was.

"You're not alright if you've got a headache bad enough you're shaking," Tony said. "I've got painkillers somewhere, but it's the good stuff from last time and Peps gets titchy about me handing that out to people and besides, I have alcohol too and that's way better for relaxing after shit like what just happened."

"No alcohol," Lea said, almost panicking for a second. "I'd rather take the painkillers." Because she wasn't sure what would happen if she got tipsy and couldn't control herself around that armor. And then she'd have to explain why she was taking his armor apart and refitting it.

Tony looked at her for a moment before digging out the bottle and tossing it to her.

"It's the good stuff," he warned.
