It had been five years since Raven had set foot into Titans Tower. Five years since Raven had fought crime with her old friends. Now she hadn't given up being a hero, she just had something..well someone more important to take care of. Her five year older daughter, Raven hadn't planned to have children. Part of her was afraid that some how her demon father might be able to use the demon blood her child would have to use them as a portal to return. She didn't know if it was possible but it was still a risk, that she never wanted to take. Of course Raven didn't count on falling in love, and she had with a certain blue eyed boy wonder.
Like a typical teenage girl, Raven had fallen hard and fast for Robin. Yet somehow luck had been on her side, and he liked her as well..or so she thought. Raven at first has be weary of dating Robin, part of her hadn't beilive that he liked her, and well another part of her was convinced he liked Starfire. After he had convinced her to date him, things had just gone to fast. Before she knew it they had gone all the way, and like some cliche movie that one night result in Raven becoming pregnant. Yet before she could tell him, he had broken it off with her telling her something about having feelings for Starfire. Raven had been broken hearted, she knew and still she listened to her heart and had a relationship with him. She decided agasint telling him about the child, at least not right now. Raven didn't want to seem like one of those girls who would say anything to keep a guy with her. Of course Raven knew she couldn't be on the team anymore, at least for now. She ended up confiding in Cyborg who had helped her move out of the tower, and eventually the group of people who knew grew. Batman, Dick's old mentor has figured it out and showed up one night, demanding that Raven let him help her. Raven knew there was no point in arguing agasint him and agreed, with one condition Batman had to let her tell Dick about the child. Of course once Batman knew, that meant Alfred, Jason and Tim found out. While neither Roy or Wally where apart of the main Teen Titans team, they both were close friends of Raven and she told them as well, and that resulted in Jinx finding out because to this day she still dating Wally. Raven had tried throughout the years to tell Dick about his daughter, because she knew he would want to know that he had his own family. Of course every time she tried he would say something that hurt Raven, or rush off the phone. She had a few time mustered up the courage to visit him in Bludhaven to tell him and he still manged to mess things up. At this rate she was tempted to give into Wally's nagging and let him tell Dick about Elizabeth. Raven had named her little girl Elizabeth after Dick's mother's middle name. Currently Raven stood in her kitchen of her little apartment in Gotham, sipping tea mentally preparing to call Dick to try one more to tell him about his child. Her daughter was currently at school. Raven picked up the phone, pressed 1 and hit send, and her speed dial was calling his phone. |

Dick was didn't answer the phone right away, he had been too preoccupied with things, and just finished up with a criminal case a couple hours before the call. Stepping out of the hot shower turning the water off, he wrapped a towel around his waist, and picked up the phone as the heat lamp about him turned on "Yes?" he already knew who it was and had been ignoring the phone lately, because didn't want to pick it up, or deal with anything right now. Dick had gotten the wrong idea that Raven didn't want to be a titan anymore because of him or the fact that he said they couldn't have a serious relationship since it would get in the way of things. Dick was afraid that if he stayed with Raven that either she would get hurt or it would be a huge distraction during fights. It's not like he didn't love being with her, he couldn't even begin to describe how he felt about her, and that's where complications came into view. "Dick here?" he said after a moment of silence. ~ ~ ~ Varelli seemed to go by Elli most of the time, she loved the color orange, but, dressed in dark shaded clothes. None of the other kids really talked to her much, she was more mature than them considering who her father was, and she idolized him. "Hey, Elizabeth, did you like our new teacher?" Varelli didn't go to school, but, she loved to sneak in from time to time and watch the other kids. None of the teachers really noticed her and she knew ways to avoid them even if it meant having to dress less...well mature. "Mr. Marlin was quite nice wasn't he?" Elli snuck into the history class and had chosen to sit by Elizabeth. |
