Kiera yawned quietly as she finished off her shift in the library, clocking out and making her way back to her car. She was supposed to be meeting up with Alice a little later for dinner and planning. There was something in town that was killing people off, and Kiera did not approve of that. At all. So she and Alice were supposed to be getting together to discuss things.

Once she was home, she called Alice to let her know it was safe to come over and that dinner would be ready whenever she arrived.

Alice answered the call saying she would be there soon and hung up her cellphone which she always kept with her. Just because she was a nature lover didn't mean she wasn't updated with technology and sometimes technology could save your lives. Alice' blonde hair flowed behind her as she walked to her destination since she wasn't into the whole "owning" a car thing and it was a waste of money anyways. While walking under the half moon as it illuminated her with it's beautiful and bright glow. She heard a noise behind her and quickly whipped around to realize nothing was there. However, she did feel eyes upon her for some reason as she turned back continuing to walk, and sped up just a little bit.

She really didn't feel like fending anything off since she had just finished with her work for the day. Then she remembered, she had her brand new camera with her, and it was the most durable one she could find in the short time she normally had on library computers. She decided to recite a certain charm she remembered as a child when her mother used it against some creature of the night and then to each girl before bed. "The power of one stands alone, the power of one, fears no one" she repeated that to herself over and over as she walked and turned only to take a quick picture then broke off into a run. She was glad to have long legs that could make her quite fast at times, but, her clumsiness would get into the way sometimes.

Something started running up behind her and she tried to speed up faster, but, she didn't have that much energy. Alice was almost to the point of freaking out, however, she tried to keep calm. Freaking out wouldn't be good considering what she was and how it would be dangerous for not only her, but, to others as well. "BACK OFF" Alice yelled stopping and raising her hands as the nature around her seemed to match her mood and the wind picked up throwing whoever or whatever off it's feet and back some. Alice turned sprinting into the distance feeling she was alone now and made it to her friend's house shortly two hours later out of breath. "Kiera, open up, are you there?" she asked looking around to make sure nothing was following her and she knocked a couple quick times.

Kiera heard the pounding on her door and went to go open her door. "Took you long enough," she said with a brief grin. She quickly noticed that Alice looked a little spooked, which wasn't normal. That made her frown, and she moved aside to let Alice in. She shut and locked her front door behind Alice, giving her a few moments to get comfortable and get her breathing back to normal. Kiera also did a quick visual check to make sure her wards were all in place around the house.

"What happened?" she asked quietly, leading Alice into the kitchen and letting her sit. "You don't normally look so spooked and out of breath. Did you run into trouble on the way here or something?"

Alice caught her breath after a moment "I would have been here sooner...but, something is surely out there...and I don't like not knowing what is chasing me" she said between breaths "Let's not worry too much about it, I didn't exactly see anything" and she hoped her camera soon would, she wasn't like others who always used digital cameras since the supernatural didn't always show up. She used both most of the time, but, preferred digital since it was faster with better results.

Alice closed her eyes sighing as she caught herself back to reality and no longer in harms way "I don't know what it was, all I know is I heard a noise behind me, and as I look nothing is there. But, I felt eyes on me and I know something was there when I defended myself." Alice spoke knowing that the girl knew a little about her, but, not the whole story on her background. Only that she was a witch, just not what kind of witch, because the kind she was, seemed to be feared by most.

"Weird." Kiera frowned and shook her head. "Well, whatever it was is gone now. Too bad you didn't see it or we'd know what we're going after." She served food for both of them, staying quiet for a few minutes.

"You said you couldn't really see it, only feel it following you and watching you, right? So it's probably something faster, able to hide fairly easily."

"I tried to take a picture..." Alice spoke looking at her camera unsure if it had or would show up. "Probably is, but, for now let's just eat. You know how I get when I don't eat" when she doesn't eat, Alice changes, in a bad way, and it's dangerous more towards herself than anyone else. Her mood changed as she smiled like a child again, like always "So what did you make?" she had her hands behind her back and looked innocent again.
