Gilbert groaned loudly. "West. You know that's not what I meant! Alliances are important for any country even if that country can care for their self just fine. Don't get so defensive on me." He pulled his brother close and hugged him, feeling silly as he was a good head shorter than the younger country. "You know, I always expected you'd be shorter than me. I thought you'd always be smaller and weaker just as you were as a little baby nation. It seems I was wrong though. You've outgrown me completely..." He moved away, sitting on his bed. "No more bedtime stories or tucking you in. You've grown up on me haven't you?"

Germany sort of hums at the other male's words, relaxing just the smallest bit when Gilbert hugged him. ".. I know." His eyes fall shut for a second and he slips his arms around him to hug him tight. "I was being immature and giving you a hard time, I apologize." A low rumble of a laugh slides past Ludwig's lips as his eyes reopen and Prussia moves away again. "I suppose your fantasy wasn't completely true. but that doesn't mean you aren't still dear to me." There's a small pause before he sits himself down beside the elder male and plopping his head on his shoulder. "I will always love you, no matter how much bigger I get, alright? Please, never forget that."

Gilbert gave an exhausted sigh. "I'm getting really old west. I don't even know how much longer I'll be around. I'm not a country anymore, and honestly, I don't even know how I've existed this long. I just want to be sure you're taken care of before I pass. I just keep getting weaker and weaker. I'm almost completely forgotten by some nations." He shook his head with a smile. "I guess everyone has their time though." He pet at Ludwig's hair and kissed his forehead. "If you ever tell anyone how sappy I can be, I'm going to kill you, just so you know~"

Ludwig is quiet for a moment before he straightens up and simply pulls the older man into his lap for a proper nuzzle. "I do not need to tell them." A bit of a snark slips into his words "I hate to inform you, but I do believe all of our friends are already aware how sappy you are." He laughs, a rumbley sort of laugh that causes them both to shake slightly. "It's alright, though. I am sure they will never let you know."

Prussia yelped as he was hoisted into the younger sibling's lap. "They don't think I'm sappy." He whined. "They think I'm awesome. Which I am." He pouted slightly, his lip poking out. "You're more sappy than I am you big baby. I can still spank you. So don't pick on me you butt." He nuzzled into Ludwig's chest. "Wow you're a strong nation now. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little bit jealous. I was always strong, but not like you."

Ludwig snorts slightly into Prussia's hair, causing a bit of it to puff out. "I am a.. bit more of a sap than you, I will admit. But the spanking bit is a bit more out there. I do not think you could quite manage to flip me over." He nuzzles back into the smaller male as he relaxes slightly. "...There is no need to feel jealous. I only managed to get this way because I aspired to be like you."

Gilbert turned to Ludwig with a smirk. "I am more than capable of flipping you over west. Just because I'm smaller than you doesn't mean I can't get my way." He tickled his younger friend's sides. "I'll tickle you into submission. You won't be able to resissssst." He tickled every area he could remember the German nation being ticklish in when he was a little colony. "Beg for merrrcy."

Germany's breath hitches up and he starts to try and squirm away the instant Prussia begins to tickle him. "H-Hey! That's--" He breaks into loud laughter, trying to push the male away from him without applying too much force. "That's cheating, I hope you are aware! Tickling is-- pf--" The blonde positively writhes as words begin failing him.

Germany's reaction causes Prussia to burst into laughter as well. "All is fair in love and war my dearest little baby~!" He tickles a little more before stopping, giggling and grinning down at Germany. "I miss these times Ludwig. We used to have so much fun when you were little. Why'd you have to go and grow up on me?"

Ludwig manages to catch his breath when Gilbert finally stops, huffing and puffing for lost air. "I am not, a baby." He grumbles at him slightly before looping an arm around the elder male and tugging him down beside him "Shall I apologize for growing? We can still have fun times...."

Gilbert nuzzled against Ludwig refusing to look at him. "No, no. I just miss the times when you looked up to me. When I was a good example for you and didn't have to mooch off of you to live." He twisted his hands together nervously. "But I suppose now that you're older it can be nice. We can do things only adults do. Like..drink together and such..."

The taller male began to brush his fingers through Gilbert's hair as he listened. "......I still do look up to you, you know. Just because I am older does not change that." The blonde is content to cuddle up against him without much fuss on his end. "Grown up things? We can still do the things we used to.... Sometimes I will simply read. That's not too terribly different.

Gilbert snorted. "Figuratively you might look up to me, but very certainly not literally. Which sucks." He rolled his eyes. "West, reading is lame. Lets play video games and get smashed. It's fun. You should seriously try it sometime. I mean that. I'm going to make you because it's fun ad you're lammmmmme. You've got to do fun stuff sometimes west."

That earns a somewhat haughty sniff. "Reading is perfectly fun. It is also highly interesting and raises awareness. ... in certain matters. Anyway. I could try to play your games .... and I drink anyway. Have you forgotten that already? " Ludwig flicks at Gilbert in a semi playful manner, "I am not boring!"
