"I would if it didn't seem like something was bothering him," Sam said. "Believe me, I would."

Kyra heaved a sigh and forced herself to get up, blinking groggily a few times before focusing on her bag so she could find clothes and get dressed.

"You can have the shower first, if you want," Sam said as he gathered his things.

"Thanks." Kyra gathered up clothes and went to go take a quick shower to help wake herself up. She emerged still blinking and damp but dressed and moved out of the way so Sam could take his shower.

Sam went and took a quick shower, then came back out to finish packing his bag again. He didn't trust Dean not to make them go without breakfast if he wanted. Something was eating at his brother, Sam just didn't know what.

Dean came to pound on the door again just as Sam was finishing up packing. He already had his and Runa's bags in the Impala.

"Are you ready yet?" he yelled through the door.

Sam rolled his eyes and went to open the door.

"Calm down, we're just about ready," he said, hefting his bag.

Kyra followed him outside silently, putting her things in the car and settling in.

"Bitch," Dean muttered as he went to go get in to head to the diner. He was kind of hungry, but he knew he had to feed the moose or else deal with whining until they did stop to get food.

"Jerk," Sam muttered back, completely out of habit, as he got into the car.

Runa was already in the car, checking a few news reports on her phone.

Kyra just settled in against a door to get some more sleep, yawning briefly and using her jacket as a pillow.

Dean drove them to the diner and got out, glancing at Sam before heading inside. The girls would come if they wanted food.

Sam nudged Kyra a bit.

"Breakfast?" he asked her.

Runa just got out and stretched a bit.

"I want waffles and nobody will tell me otherwise," she commented as she followed Dean inside.

Kyra grumbled but got out of the car reluctantly, slouching over to a booth to sit down again. Something sweet sounded good.

Dean snorted. "Waffles are good," he agreed, and then looked at the daily specials. "Hey. Pig in a poke."

Sam flinched when he heard Dean.

"Don't," he said darkly. "I don't care what else you get, but don't you dare."

Runa blinked and looked between the two. That was interesting.

Dean blinked at that before he remembered. And then he shut up and looked at the regular menu.

Kyra exchanged a mystified look with Runa before perusing her own menu. And if she was sitting a bit closer to Sam than strictly necessary, well, no one should care.

Runa noticed how close the two were sitting and grinned a bit at Kyra. She knew what happened between the two. It was obvious. She, however had put a little space between herself and Dean, carefully not touching him.

Kyra noticed the space, even though she'd seen the hickey Dean was sporting, and she raised an eyebrow in silent question.

Runa saw the look and pulled out her phone. She really didn't want to have to discuss it aloud with Sam and Dean right there.

Castiel caught us in bed. Dean's been acting weird since.

Kyra read the text, blinked, and was quick to reply.

I don't think I blame him. Castiel is... intimidating.

He is, but that's not the right word for what happened, I don't think. Castiel seemed... upset. Hurt. Runa looked at Kyra and grimaced. JFC I think he really is in love with Dean.

With your luck? Yeah, he probably is. Sorry. Dunno if there's anything I can do to help. Kyra grimaced a bit.

Sam noticed the two making faces as they texted.

"What are you two talking about?" he asked, looking between them.

"Nothing," Runa replied. "You don't want to know."

"Feminine issues," Kyra replied with a completely straight face. It was sort of true.

Dean made a face. "Okay, yea, changing the subject," he said. "Don't talk about that here."

Sam also made a face and Runa smirked.

"Big bad hunters afraid of female things?" she teased.

"Shut up, it's weird," Dean said, shifting uncomfortably. "No. Just no." He was more than happy when the waitress came over with their food.

Runa snickered a bit and just settled in when the food got there.
