Aragorn stopped in a clearing, climbing down from his horse. "We can stop here for the night. This spot is safe."

Legolas got off his horse and looked around the clearing. "It is nice here." He said with a smile. He went and gave Aragorn a peck on the cheek before starting to set up camp.

"I've taken shelter here before. We should be safe."

"I trust you." Legolas said with a smile. And he meant it. He knows he had just met this man but he trusts him. He finishes setting up and he grabbed his bow and quiver. "I will go find us dinner." He said with a grin, that lights up his eyes.

Aragon stared at his love. "Very well..be careful out there." He went to lighting the fire, thinking of the way Legolas smiled.

Legolas slipped silently into the woods. An hour or so later he returned with three rabbits. He had entered the clearing silently and was behind Aragorn. He just stood there watching the man. He still couldn't believe how lucky he was.

Aragorn didn't even hear the elf approach and he didn't turn to look. He continued to feed the fire, humming.

Legolas moved into the clearing, making a bit of noise as not to startle the ranger. "I was able to get a few rabbits." He said going and sitting beside Aragorn. He picked up one of the three rabbits he had gotten.

Aragorn jumped a little, but didn't stay startled long. "Ah. Those will be great for tonight. I have the fire ready."

"I thought so." Legolas soon had all of them skinned and prepared. He puts them on sticks over the fire to cook.

Aragorn watched the flames. "Did you have any trouble catching them?"

"Not at all." Legolas said with a smile. He sat next to Argorn keeping track of the rabbits so they don't over cook. "Am I right in assuming that when we around other people you would prefer going by Strider?"

He nodded. "Yes. It's very important others don't find out who I am or we could be in danger."

"Then I need to start getting used to calling you Strider. In all honesty I like Strider a bit better." He said with a smile and a blush.

Aragorn nodded. "It does sound cooler I'll admit."

Soon the rabbit was cooked. "Help yourself." Legolas said indicating the rabbits. He blows on a bit of rabbit before starting to eat. He fell silent as he ate just letting his thoughts wander.

Aragorn also took a piece and ate it. "Thank you."

"You're welcome." He said. He leaned against Aragorn as they ate. This all just seemed so right.

Aragorn looked into Legolas' eyes and kissed gently.

Legolas returned the kiss. He puts his arms around Aragorn. He felt content, and happy.
