Yugito blushed heavily as she heard what Naruto said. "Thank you...Naruto-kun" she said softly before getting into her fighting stance. She was glad that her male friend (at this Yugito swore she heard Matatabi say boyfriend, but ignored it) have her back. Looking at Rai, she initiated the initial form of the Bijuu, feeling Matatabi's youki coursing through her veins, her eyes changing to slits.

Gaara chuckled at what his brother in arms said, shaking his head lightly. "Well, guess that's one way to admit them," he replied with a light chuckle.

Gemini hid a blush, remembering how many times she had almost said something to Gaara about her own feelings. She still wasn't sure how she would do it, or when. Shaking off the thought, she kept her eyes on Yugito.

Naruto tensed, gripping the railing to the point where his hands hurt. Of course he knew exactly what Yugito was doing, and he couldn't help hope that she made it as painful as possible for her opponent.

Gaara noticed that Gemini was blushing lightly and wondered what was going through her mind. He just hoped that she was doing alright.

Yugito blocked a strike from Rai with her arms, wincing lightly at the pain that rushed up her arms. "You know...Shotarou showed me a few seals. One of them he made sure I learned was how to restrain your special chakra," he said with a light grin before going quickly through handseals before a dark black fire appeared on his fingers. Quickly ducking under her punch and getting under her guard, he placed his hand on her stomach. "Five Element Seal" he said.

Naruto gasped, a blurry memory flashing through his mind. That was the same move...that snake guy used on me in the forest! He thought. He remembered the black fire, and pain, and passing out moments later. "It doesn't matter. Yugito-chan can beat him anyway." He said with conviction.

Gemini leaned forward a bit, trying to see clearly. "What was that? A seal? Her chakra just disappeared..."

"Are you sure?" Gaara asked, concerned for his Jinchuuriki sister. Of course if anyone asked him if that just happened he would quickly deny it.

Yugito ducked underneath a kick and backflipped away from the second kick, knowing that Rai was trying harder than usual to hurt her. 'Not good, not good!' she thought to herself. Hoping this would work, she went through a set of hand seals, putting in more chakra than she normally would in order to power the attack.

Gemini nodded, not failing to notice the note of concern in his voice, though she didn't say anything. "I'm positive. My nose never lies. She'll have to be really careful." She said.

Naruto watched, teeth clenched in apprehension. Come on Kitty-chan, you can do this... He thought, wishing he could help her. But this was her fight, and it was important that she follow it through tot he end.

Gaara nodded. "Alright," was all that he said, knowing that she was telling the truth, especially since she had no reason to lie to him. "Luckily, Naruto-san already had his match against that Kiba person" he added after a few seconds.

Yugito knew that Naruto was in her corner and drew solstice from that fact alone. Without him, right now she would be all alone. Maybe that was what Rai was counting on. Wincing lightly as Rai kicked her in the stomach, she was lucky enough to feel the second blow that was coming and got her arm up. What she didn't realize was the lightning chakra he added to the blow, causing her arm to become paralyzed. Gritting her teeth in pain, she used the short window of opportunity to counter and hit Rai in the face with her other fist.

((Kiba. Naruto hasn't fought Neji yet, he fought Kiba.))

Gemini gasped. "A lightening style attack. That's pretty advanced. He's really not kidding around." She said, clearly on edge. Seeing that kind of treatment made her beyond angry. "Hey Yugito-chan! Beat the hell outta this jerk!" She yelled, officially tossing her lot in for the other girl.

Naruto spared just a moment of appreciation for Gemini's support, before turning his full attention back to the fight. "You got this, Yugito-chan! You're smarter and stronger than that scumbag, dattebayo!!" He yelled, making sure she could hear him.

Gaara growled lightly as he kept his control over the sand. It wouldn't do Yugito any favors if she had outside help, no matter how subtle, though he was silently glad that Gemini was cheering Yugito on. However, if this bastard did somehow defeat his fellow sister in arms, he would give this "Rai" a slow and painful death via sand burial.

Yugito smiled lightly when she heard both Gemini and Naruto encourage her to beat the jerk in front of him. Despite her chakra control being out of wack and her right arm just starting to get feeling back into it, she knew that her Foxy-kun was right...wait, her Foxy-kun? Shaking her head lightly, she put that thought to the back burners for now. 'Let's see...what do I know about this idiot? she asked herself as she threw several kunai to block the ones thrown by Rai.

((That's okay. lol Wolfie actually saves this rp for last when she posts every night, so that there's plenty of inspiration. She get's pretty excited about it. ^-^))

Naruto went still, sensing that Yugito needed to think for a moment. He had a feeling that things were about to heat up, and he only hoped that it would be the other guy in hot water.

"This guy...he's a bigot. He's just like that man always was." She said, her tone clearly implying that she was talking about her adoptive father.

((On a separate note, Wolfie has been watching your NaNo progress bar all month, and has been silently cheering you on. She thinks the amount of words alone is a pretty awesome accomplishment. *Also Wolfie is Obsessive Compulsive and can't wait to see the bar all the way full* Anyway, regardless of whether the bar moves again, Wolfie feels proud for you.))

Yugito smirked lightly. She knew just what exactly she needed to do in order to get out of this predicament and got back into her stance. This was going to be a risk since she was going to be channeling chakra even with the seal on her stomach. Despite haven been given the seal she knew that she was the superior when it came to close range. As her nails grew into claws, she smirked. "Time to kick some ass Mata-chan," she whispered, even though she knew that the cat within her mind couldn't hear her.

Gaara used his sand to wrap around Gemini lightly. He wanted to cheer her up and not think about that bastard of an adoptive father that she had. He did agree with her though, Yugito's opponent was a bigot.

(Thank you for silently cheering me on. I actually feel happy that you are doing so and I'll be trying my hardest to finish up those 4,000 final words. It should be easy since I still have some action scenes that I need to write as well as some other elements to tie it together. It's not going to get published right away or anything since it's fanfiction, but I will definitely take things from it for when I actually publish it on fanfiction.net)

Naruto wanted to cheer as he watched Yugito regroup, but decided to stay quiet for once. He wanted to see and hear everything that happened.

Gemini stiffened slightly, until she realized that it was only Gaara. Somewhere in the back of her mind, she realized that most people would panic at that thought, and she managed a tiny smile at the irony. She relaxed and watched the match, hoping the bastard got what was coming to him.

Sakura watched the match as well silently, surprised that Naruto was content with just watching his girlfriend beat the crap out of her teammate. Then again, with the way she was treated by the two, she didn't blame her one bit for wanting to take them out, and had a feeling that Naruto wanted to do the same thing.

Yugito knew that Rai was going to use his lightning armor in order to act as a defense and offense, but as long as she her toenails in the ground, she could quickly direct them into the earth below. She just had to be careful using her chakra to protect herself when she was doing it. Though she had the feeling that she pretty much had a handle on it and what she could do.

Naruto leaned forward, almost falling over the railing in his eagerness to see clearly. "C'mon...beat the hell out of him. No mercy!" He muttered, though he shouted the last part.

Gemini's ears perked up. "She's up to something. I hope she finishes this soon, I wanna see that guy black and blue." She said, eyes trained firmly on the fight.

Yugito smirked as she heard that from Naruto and channeled the energy towards the floor as she moved towards hitting him. Once that was accomplished, she quickly used a lightning clone to keep his armor at bay while she went through a few hand seals for a C-rank Katon jutsu that the Nibi had taught her. "Fire Style: HellCat's Talon!" she shouted as she blew out a stream of fire that took on the shape of one of the nekomata's claws. She could have used more but didn't risk it with the damn seal in place.

"I do too actually," Temari stated as she watched the fight unfold. "Nobody deserves to be treated like an animal," she said softly.

Gemini's face sparked with interest upon seeing the fire-style technique. "Now that's a cool move. If it weren't for that seal he put on her, I bet it would be strong enough to kill him outright." She guessed. Gemini was a sucker for new weapons and techniques.

Naruto couldn't resist cheering. "All right! Show 'em who's boss, Yugito-chan!! That jerk is nothing compared to you, dattebayo!!" He yelled, in his usual over-the-top, too loud fashion.

Naruto cheered wordlessly as Yugito's attack hit. He was a little disappointed that the bastard hadn't been hurt worse, but it was still something.

Gemini's voice joined Naruto's in a cheer. "Yeah, scorch him black!!!" She screamed violently, showing her more demonic nature.

Naruto, after quieting down, leaned forward again. He wanted to see the fight finished. He wanted badly to see Yugito declared the winner, and to see her bastard of a team mate be taken away on a stretcher.

Gemini smirked. "C'mon, end it. Finish him." She urged quietly.
