Gemini gave a devilish grin. "Good. Now, you should go. They're waiting for you." She said, leaning in to give him a quick peck on the cheek. "For luck." She said with a wink.

Down in the arena, Naruto had said his piece to Sasuke and was walking with Shikamaru "This time let's use the stairs." back up to the stands.

((Let's just skip the part where they watch Gaara kill those two guys and get straight to the match.))

Gaara blushed from the kiss as he made his way quickly down the stairs. Once there, he stood in front of Sasuke with a smirk on his face. "It seems as if this village likes you Uchiha..." he started to say as he waited for Sasuke to most likely respond and/or the Proctor to state for them to begin.

((*Shrug* Actually, Wolfie only watched through to the Sasuke retrieval arc, and skipped all the fillers, so neither does she.))

Sasuke smirked arrogantly. "Something you wouldn't understand, probably." He said. Before the redhead had the chance to retort, the proctor called for the match to begin.

Using her fox ears to hear better, Gemini found herself seething over Sasuke's comment. Now she really wanted Gaara to beat the crap out of him. She watched with mixed anger and anxiety as the two started fighting. Naturally, whenSasuke started pulling the same moves as Lee, with the same speed, she started to worry. "Okay Gaara-san, we trained for this. You can handle it." She muttered.

Gaara narrowed his eyes as he noticed the exact same moves that his opponent, Rock Lee, had used before in the match one month prior. The only differences between then and now were that Sasuke was a fraction of a second slower than his previous opponent, and he had focused on handling these types of opponents throughout the month with Gemini. Bringing up a sand wall to protect himself from a fireball and sighed lightly before blocking a round-house kick. [B]"You know Uchiha, if I didn't know better, I would have congratulated you on improving so much in just the span of one month. But damn those eyes of yours," he said before growling lightly.

Sasuke kept that infuriating smirk on his face and continued his assault. "I don't need your praise, sand rat. But I will say that, from what I heard, you've gotten a bit faster yourself. I'll bet someone taught you all month." He said, dodging a tendril of sand and ducking under in order to kick at his opponent.

Up in the stands, Gemini was just about ready to leap down into the arena where Gaara had just been hurt. However, she was stopped by a feathery, warm feeling, with actual feathers floating around her. Feeling sleepy, she realized it was a genjutsu and quickly dispelled it. Looking around, she saw that nearly everyone in the stadium had fallen asleep. Some Jounin were awake and fighting what appeared to be sound and sand ninja. U above the arena, there was an explosion where the Hokage had been sitting. Confused beyond all reason, Gemini looked to the arena to see Temari and Kankuro running away with an unconscious Gaara between them. Sasuke quickly followed, and Gemini was after them in a flash. An invasion! Gaara-san, how could you...? She thought, finally putting the pieces together.

Naruto felt the Kyuubi already at work to dispel the genjutsu around him and went to shake Yugito's shoulder lightly."five more minutes..." she muttered sleepily. "Kitty-chan, you need to wake up. I need your help," he said as she slowly started to fully wake up. Before long, she could see what was going on and was surprised.

After receiving orders from Kakashi, Naruto, Sakura, Shikamaru and Pakkun were ready to go. "Kitty-chan, are you coming?" He asked Yugito, preparing to leave through a hole in the wall that had been created earlier. He couldn't wait too long, or they might be too late to help Sasuke.

Yugito nodded, knowing that she couldn't leave Naruto to fight Gaara by himself. Plus, Gaara was a Jinchuuriki just like herself and Naruto.

Naruto didn't wait any longer after that. He rushed forward, in true Naruto style, barely waiting to see if anyone followed. He was determined to get to Sasuke before anything bad happened.

Chasing after Sasuke and the sand trio, Gemini finally caught up when Sasuke started fighting with Temari. Seeing Kankuro move on with Gaara, she didn't bother to pause, but kept going, determined to catch up fully with them and demand an explanation. It wasn't long before Sasuke caught up again, and Temari followed, confirming that she was alive but had lost against the Uchiha. Temari took Gaara and started off again while Kankuro stayed behind. Gemini again moved forward, knowing that Shino had showed up to distract Kankuro, and that Sasuke wouldn't be long in following. The vixen finally managed to fully catch up when Temari landed on a branch with Gaara, and started trying to apply some medicine to his wound. "HEY! Temari-san, Gaara-san...what the hell is happening here?!" She demanded, landing on the branch next to them.

Yugito shook her head lightly before quickly following after her boyfriend, seeing Sakura and the shadow boy...Shikamaru, if she remembered correctly following her and Naruto as well.

"was told...not to tell..." Gaara said as his sister was bandaging his wounds.

Hurt flashed through the girl's eyes, and she moved forward. "Bastard got you good, didn't he? And on the left, too. You're damn lucky he didn't hit your heart." She said, inspecting the wound. "I want an explanation. It doesn't have to be now, but soon. I won't leave you be until you tell me why." She said stubbornly, fighting back tears. Had he...had he been using her all this time? Gaining her trust to learn things about Konoha that he could pass on?

Sasuke entered the scene at that moment. "Gemini-chan, what are you doing? Get away from those traitors!" He yelled angrily. How dare she even think of helping them? It should have been him she ran after, not that redheaded freak! Jealousy burned through the Uchiha.

Racing along as fast as he could without losing his companions, Naruto was stopped by Kakashi's summon dog, Pakkun. There was a fight going on, and they had to go around it. Not only that, but they were being followed. Shikamaru offered to stay behind and stall the pursuers. They left the shadow user behind with some regret, and circled around whatever fight was going on. Naruto was worried- he sensed a spike in demonic chakra, and hoped to whatever powers there were that it was Gemini.

(Yeah...keep dreaming Sasuke. The only time you're going to get Gemini is in your dreams)

Gaara nodded, knowing that she wouldn't take no for an answer. Plus, he wanted to come clean with her himself, already feeling like a jerk for having to hurt her like this.

Gemini was ready to hear the explanation she had demanded when Sasuke showed up. She turned to face him, anger showing in her eyes. How dare he have the gall to tell her what to do? "In your dreams, Uchiha! You don't own me, and you can't tell me what to do. I was just about to get an explanation, and you had to show up and ruin everything! Jerk!" She huffed.

Sasuke snarled. "Bitch, how dare you talk to me that way? I was only trying to protect you! What's your attraction to him, anyway? Is he a freak like you?" The temperamental boy shouted, glaring at Gaara the whole time.

Gaara growled lightly before he sent his sand after the Uchiha, making sure that it didn't hit Gemini along the way. He knew what she had gone through in the past and just like him...he wasn't going to let anyone abuse her anymore..may it be verbal or physical.

((lol pretty much. Gonna try and stick to the original fight as much as possible, but considering there are OC's involved, plus Gemini will be making a small confession during the fight...yeah. It should be interesting.))

Gemini, along with Temari, jumped to another branch as soon as Gaara launched his attack. Now that Sasuke had said that, there was pretty much no way anyone was going to stop this fight.

Sasuke's eyes widened slightly as he dodged, not expecting the sand to be quite so fast. He realized that the redhead hadn't been fighting seriously during their match. Slightly angry about this, the Uchiha launched a grand fireball at his opponent.

Gaara saw his sister and Gemini move to a safe location before seeing Sasuke attempt a fireball at him. Knowing that he could make more sand later, he let the sand tendrils form into a shield before turning into glass. "Is that all you've got?" he asked.

Narrowing his eyes in a sneer, Sasuke decided it was time to kick things up. Clearly, fire wasn't going to work, so he decided to try lightening. Firing up his chidori, he rushed towards the redhead, who seemed to be undergoing an alarming transformation.

Gemini bit her lip, feeling the surge of demonic chakra from Gaara. She definitely did not want to see him lose control, but with the way things were going, it looked like he already had.

Gaara knew that he couldn't let that attack hit him, especially since it was able to pierce through his sand defense and jumped to avoid it while channeling chakra into his sand in order to use his Suna Shuriken.

Yugito felt the spike in demonic energy and was a little bit worried as to what the three of them would find once they got to the fight...

Unable to dodge, Sasuke was hit dead on with the attack, and knocked back into a tree. Cursing, he hid behind another tree and tried to plan out his next move. He remembered Kakashi saying that he was good for only two Chidori's per day. But it was the only attack that worked. Gritting his teeth, he dredged up his chakra and managed to spark one last chidori. He leaped out from his hiding place, determined to land a hit, when his curse mark kicked in. Crying out in pain, the Uchiha was forced to drop his attack and land, defenseless, on a branch.

"Guys, we need to hurry up! That chakra definitely isn't Gemini-chan..." Naruto called to his companions. He was starting to worry, both about Gemini and Sasuke. Gemini was rather attached to Gaara, and if he did something to her, she'd be crushed. Meanwhile, if he hurt either of them, Naruto would have to beat the pulp out of the redhead.

Both Yugito and Sakura nodded, knowing that Naruto was right. Yugito could feel Gaara energy starting to spike, having a feeling that that was a very bad thing...

Gaara saw his chance to attack the boy once he was down, sending multiple sand tendrils at him.

((Hmm...enter the hero!!))

Just at the moment when Gaara would have crushed Sasuke, an orange-clad flash intercepted, kicking the redhead away from his team mate.

Landing next to Sasuke, Sakura saw the curse mark and worried greatly.

Gemini gasped. She had wondered if Naruto would show up, but now that he had, she figured this fight was about to get serious. Very serious.

Naruto had just received the news that the person in front of him was actually Gaara, and realized that they had to leave, and now. "Guys! We've gotta get out of-" The blonde didn't have time to finish, as Gaara flew past him, ready to attack Sasuke. Sakura got in the way, however, and was pinned to a tree by a large amount of sand.

"Sakura-chan!" Yugito shouted as she tried breaking the sand with her flames. It was working, but slowly, especially since she didn't want to accidentally harm the pinkette. She was lucky, however, that Gaara wasn't going after her, otherwise his sand would be burned to a crisp.

Gaara growled lightly as he created more Suna Shuriken to attack both males. "That girl...she is precious to you, yes?" he asked in a mix of two voices, one his normal voice, one a low demonic voice...which was slowly starting to take control of the boy.

Naruto, after quickly moving Sasuke out of the way, stood up straight and glared at the redhead. "She's my friend, and if you lay one finger on any of them, I'll beat you up!" He said.
