Yugito watched on worriedly every time that Naruto screamed in pain, either by the energy condensing around him before retreating back into the seal, or his canines going through his bottom lip then receding, or whatever else she saw while Naruto was undergoing the transformation. Instinctively moving her ears to the base of her skull as Naruto cried out loudly one last time, she saw that the transformation was complete...he was just like her now. Moving him a little so that he was in a comfortable position, the neko let the new kitsune sleep for the time being, knowing that he needed it after such a procedure.

Gaara shook his head lightly as she said those words to him and too the plate of breakfast that he offered to her. Taking his own, he sat down at the table."I don't see how you can see those things in me, or not be afraid of what I've done quite honestly. And while I can't say I know what love is per say...I know I have some sort of feelings for you Gem-chan. It may be love, it may not but..."

Naruto slept soundly, so soundly that he didn't even snore like he usually did. If it weren't for the slight rise and fall of his chest, one would think he was dead.

Gemini sighed a little. "Honestly, I wasn't really sure, either. Naruto-san taught me what it meant to care about someone, but I've never really...loved anyone. But this feeling...it's different. I can't explain it. I can only say that, the fact that I'm not afraid...that's how I know what it is I'm feeling. I heard someone say once that when you truly love someone, their past doesn't matter to you. You want to protect them and be with them and see them happy, no matter what. You accept them and everything that comes with them, even...even if they have done terrible things. Kind of like the way Persephone loved Hades. Even though he was ruler of the underworld, did horrible things...even though he kidnapped her, she saw past all that to who he was underneath, and she loved that person. I think that's how it is. And that's why it's okay, if you don't love me." She looked up from her plate with a wide smile. "If it turns out that what you feel isn't love, I won't mind. As long as I can be near you, as long as I can see you happy, then I will also be happy."

Yugito soon fell into a slow slumber herself, feeling tired after seeing such an experience. As she slept, she cuddled closer to Naruto.

"You would be happy even if I didn't love you...even if I did find out about what love is?" Gaara asked, semi-confused. He understood what she was trying to say, but at the same time, he didn't. How could she be happy if he didn't love her back?

In his sleep, Naruto moved closer to Yugito, eventually ending up with his arms around her.

Gemini nodded. "Yes, absolutely. I think that's part of loving someone. You just want them to be happy, even if it's not with you. It's really confusing to think about, but the feelings is...surprisingly simple." She said, unsure how to explain it. "Oh, wow! These scrambled eggs are awesome!" She exclaimed suddenly, her attention diverted to something else.

Yugito softly purred in her sleep, happy and content for what seemed to be the first time in forever (You don't have to be afraid. Sorry, bad Frozen joke)Not even in her wildest dreams did she think she would find someone else like her...

Gaara chuckled at that. "My sister says the same thing. That's why I usually make breakfast for both of them," he admitted. "About love...I guess it really isn't a surprise hearing other people say how confusing it gets. But...I feel happy when I'm with you, to be honest," he added before sitting down with a plate of scrambled eggs himself.

At his words, Gemini's cheeks turned pink and she couldn't hold back a smile. He was happy when he was with her. A warm feeling spread through her, making her feel lighter than air. "I-I'm glad...that I can do that for you." She said.

Sometime around dawn, Naruto woke to a strange feeling. It took him a few moments to realize that he was feeling Yugito's tail...with his own tail. He was sore all over, and could barely move, so he just lay there and enjoyed the moment.

"Morning sleepyhead..." Yugito muttered softly, enjoying the feeling of his tail playing with her's. "Thank you..." she added a few seconds later, feeling the need to thank her boyfriend for everything that he did for her by going through this. And no matter what happened, she wasn't going to leave his side.

"You are?" Gaara asked surprised. He had just told Gemini the truth, that was all and he even told her as such. Though for some reason he couldn't explain, he could feel his face getting hotter than normal though if anyone else saw the young couple in the kitchen this early, they would see Gaara blushing for the first time in his life.

Naruto blinked, surprised that she thanked him. "There's nothing to thank me for. I should be thanking you for staying with me, dattebayo." He said, smiling softly. His voice was a bit rough from screaming, and he realized that he desperately needed a drink.

Gemini nodded. "Of course. I wouldn't say it if it wasn't true." She said. Looking up at him, she noticed something that made her giggle. "Gaara-san, you're blushing. It's really cute." She said, a tiny smile playing across her features. He almost looked like a little kid like that.

"I wanted to stay next to you. Besides, it was the least I could do," she said seeing that he could use something to sooth his throat. She wished that she thought of that beforehand...

Gaara chuckled lightly at that. "I have no idea what you're talking about," he said as he saw her laughing at him.

"You're the best, Kitty-chan." Naruto said, managing to hug her even while laying down.

"Sure, 'cause you've probably never blushed before. But you are now, and trust me, it's adorable." Gemini said. It was all she could do to stop herself from squeeing.

"I try," she said as she somehow returned the hug.

"Now you're just trying to embarrass me," he replied as his blush faded away as he covered his face and started working on his eggs.

Gemini chuckled and went back to her eggs, silently enjoying them for a while. She ate like an animal, as if she hadn't eaten in weeks. "That was soooo good! Thank you so much, Gaara-san."

"You're quite welcome Gemini-chan," Gaara replied after he, himself, had finished his eggs. He actually enjoyed the quiet time he was currently having with his girlfriend.

"So, what do we do now?" Gemini asked, yawning. Suddenly, she realized how exhausted she was. "Maybe a nap...Gaara-san, will you lay with me?" She asked. She knew he couldn't sleep, but she wanted to lay with him while she slept.

Temari thought she heard wrong when she came into the kitchen, yawning lightly as she was still waking up. If she was right, she just heard Gemini ask her brother to go to bed with her. The wind mistress quickly shook her head lightly and was glad that Kankuro didn't hear that...

Hearing Temari enter the kitchen, Gemini looked up and blushed. "I'm going to pretend you didn't just walk in and probably misunderstand what I was staying." She told the blonde, then turned back to Gaara. "Will you...? Y-you don't have to. I just thought it might be nice...if you held me while I slept..." She started to feel embarrassed. Was it a silly request? Kind of childish, if she thought about it. Did he think she was being strange?

"And I'm going to pretend I didn't hear a word. Just be glad that it wasn't Kankuro who walked in on you saying that," Temari responded as she made herself a bowl of cereal. Seriously though, she just shook her head. It would be better if she did pretend not to hear that actually.

"I-I suppose I can," Gaara replied, extremely unsure as to what was going on, and why he felt so nervous all of a sudden. But it was a simple request, and something that he could easily do...right?

"How are you feeling?"Yugito asked softly. She knew that it was somewhat of a stupid question to ask, but she wanted to know how Naruto was feeling after such a transformation.

Gemini smiled shyly. "Thank you. Um...where will I sleep?" She asked, realizing that she didn't know where to go from there. The place was huge, but did they really have a room for her? She'd never had a room of her own before.

Naruto thought for a moment. "I guess I'm okay. All things considered, I think I'm doing pretty good. Just sore, really." He answered, thinking that he really did get off easy if that was the case.

"There's an empty room that's between my room and Temari-nee's room. You're welcome to that room, if you want" Gaara said as an answer to Gemini's question.

"I'm glad. It looked like it hurt..." she said with a tone of sadness in her voice.

Gemini nodded, relieved. Part of her expected to be sleeping on the couch, even though she knew Gaara wouldn't make her do that. "Thanks. Will you show me? I might get lost in a place this big." She joked.

Naruto grinned brightly. "Well...yeah. But I've been hurt worse, and I'm tough, so it's not that bad." He reassured her happily.

"Sure. Follow me Gemini-chan," Gaara responded as he made his way out of the kitchen, waiting for the fox demoness.

"Sounds about right. Us Jinchuuriki do have it worse than others, don't we?" she asked lightly.

Gemini followed happily, mentally taking notes so that she would remember the way back to her room next time.

"Yeah...guess so. I try not to think about it too much. It just makes me angry." Naruto replied.

Yugito nodded as she knew what Naruto meant. Just because of them being born at the wrong time, they were used to help cage an awful beast. "I know...but if it weren't for them, then we wouldn't have met."

Gaara finally stopped in front of a room. "To the left is my room, to the right is nee-chan's," he said before entering the room in front of him. "Coming?" he asked as he peeked his head out from the room.

Naruto had to smile at that. "Yeah, I guess you're right. I wouldn't trade that for anything." He said.

Gemini entered after him. "Thank you again, Gaara-san. I really don't know how to show you my appreciation." She said, eyeing the bed tiredly.

"Me neither," Yugito said softly. "Without you...I would still be in Kumo with those two assholes as teammates," she added, not wanting to move.

"You already have. Get some sleep Gemini-chan," he said, waiting for her to lie down in the bed before he would do so next to her. He did promise the vixen after all.
