Not discouraged in the least, Naruto got another balloon and started working on it, this time paying mind to his claws. Within minutes, he mastered the swirling water inside.

"I'm feeling better now, really. I need to get started on whatever's next."

Yugito was glad to see that he hadn't given up and was working on it a second time. As she saw him master the easier part of the exercise, she was working on the second part, breaking the balloon.

"Then let's get started. Next is just the wind. After that, we'll add the sand into the mix," Temari stated, though knew that it would be better to train her outside for the rest of this.

Naruto began working on breaking the balloon. It took him all of ten seconds. "Hey, I did it! Did you see? I broke it, dattebayo!!"

Gemini nodded. "Alright, I'm ready when you are. We should probably go outside, though." She said.

"How did you do that?" Yugito asked, surprised.

Temari nodded before opening the door, leading them towards their personal training space.

Naruto stopped cheering for a moment. "I don't know, I just kinda swirled the water really hard, but in two ways at once and it just...popped!"

Gemini walked after her, looking back once to see if her boyfriend was following.

"Two ways at once, hm?" Yugito muttered as she tried what Naruto suggested. Before long, she also popped the balloon, a grin on her face as she did it.

Gaara followed along, knowing that Gemini would want him to watch, and to make sure that she didn't do anything stupid to endanger herself.

Naruto cheered again. "Great job, Kitty-chan! Hey, Ero-Sannin, we both finished! What's next?"

Once out at the training grounds, Gemini looked around to familiarize herself with her surroundings. "Cool. So, what exactly are we going to do?"

"What did I say about calling me that you brat?" Jiraiya asked after being surprised that they got the first step down so easy. It had taken him at least a month to get the control for it down.

"Next we deal with the strong winds and cold temperatures," Temari answered

Naruto shrugged. "It's what you are, after all. Now what do I do next?" He asked, impatient.

Gemini nodded. "Okay, show me what you got then. I'm ready." She said determinedly.

"He has a point Ero-sannin" Yugito responded while waiting for the instructions as well.

"Alright alright, jeez. Anyways, the first step was control, the second step is power. Here, catch" he said before tossing two balls of rubber at the hanyous. "Same as before, you're to pop it using chakra alone."

Temari nodded as she whipped up a large amount of wind, using her control over it to lower the temperature to something that she would witness at night in the desert.

Naruto caught the ball and started working instantly. At least this couldn't be popped with his claws.

Gemini shivered against the freezing wind, but her survival instinct kicked in quickly. She used her powers to make a small fire, which she held in her hand to keep going. Then, after finding a rock that would temporarily shelter her from the wind, she started to dig a hole in the sand. Once it was deep enough, she got in, curled up tight and pulled the sand over her, effectively creating a warm cocoon.

Yugito caught the ball within the paw of her hand, knowing that this one couldn't accidentally be popped with her claws. Though she could feel that this one was definitely going to be harder. 'I just need to add more chakra to it...right?' she wondered before starting to channel her natural energy into the ball.

"Not bad. Of course there could be things within the sand, but I think we can that slide for the moment,"Temari muttered as she watched Gemini use her powers to burrow into the ground. It wasn't ideal, but it was something she could do...until Temari forced the wind to blow the sand above her away from her.

Naruto worked hard on the ball, but simply couldn't figure it out. Soon enough his chakra was running out and he had to stop. "I'll try again later, I guess..." He mumbled.

Gemini scowled, but took it in stride. She was sure this kind of thing could happen easily out in the open desert. Knowing that in nature, she couldn't just attack the source of the wind, she huddled against the rock she had found earlier and started up her tiny fire again. It guttered against the gale-force winds, but because she was controlling it it wouldn't go out. This part was just endurance, since she couldn't control the weather.

Yugito panted lightly as the chakra she was focusing into the ball died out, knowing that she couldn't try it again, at least not now. 'Maybe later...' she thought as she put the ball away.

Temari kept the winds going for a little longer before letting it die down. "Okay Gemini, you can come out now," she said.

"Hey Ero-Sannin, are we close to finding this lady?" Naruto asked impatiently.

Gemini came out slowly and carefully, making sure that there were no surprises coming at her. "Okay, how did I do?"

"I'm meeting a contact in the next town. He has the info we need. While there, I expect you two to work on the second step," Jiraiya said, knowing he was getting 'well duh' looks from the kitsune male and neko female.

"It depends. If there aren't any scorpions, spiders or other critters in the sand next to you, you're fine. Though finding a rock that big in the desert...good luck finding one. Also I don't know if a sand storm will smother your flame or not," Temari said.

Rising to expectations, Naruto's "no-shit-sherlock" look was damn near perfect. "Well, obviously we're going to keep practicing. I'm not giving up until I master this, dattebayo!" He said.

Gemini nodded, frowning. "There are a lot of variables for this. Maybe we should just use the wind to lower the temperature and test my endurance. See how long I can last in those conditions. I'll need a signal, though, to let you know when I've had enough..."

Yugito nodded as well. Just because they were beaten at the moment did that mean they were going to quit. Besides, there was no quit in Nii Yugito, and had a feeling that Naruto was the same way.

"How about shooting a small burst of chakra? Either in front of you or above you?" Temari suggested after listening to Gemini and nodding, knowing that there were indeed various variables to worry about and thought that just focusing on the temperature was a good place, if any, to start.

Naruto was itching to try again, but he knew he didn't have enough chakra built up yet. It was torture for the impatient young shinobi, since he couldn't stand to be doing nothing for long.

Gemini nodded. "That's a good idea. My chakra should be pretty visible, even with wind and sand blowing around. Okay, let's try it!" She said, ready to go.

"I could give you some of my energy," Kyuubi suggested.

"Alright let's try it then. Sandstorm or just Cold?" Temari asked.

Naruto shook his head. No, I want to get this all on my own. Thanks, though.

Gemini thought for a moment. "Both. Better jump right in head first, I think." She said.

"Don't mention it," the Kyuubi replied before retreating to the depths of Naruto's mind.

Temari nodded before motioned towards Gaara, who nodded, showing that he understood what she was asking.

Naruto focused his attention back on the road, realizing that he hadn't been paying attention for a minute there. Thankfully, he hadn't tripped or smacked into anything.

Gemini's ear twitched slightly, wondering what the siblings could be saying in their wordless communication.

"You okay Foxy-kun?" Yugito asked.

Temari started creating a cold wind, Gaara adding sand to it soon after.

Naruto blinked, looking up. "Huh? Oh, yeah I'm fine. Just thinking." He said.

Gemini squeezed her eyes shut and sat down, ready for a long period of time weathering this storm.
