Gaara shrugged lightly, not having an answer for the question. He honestly didn't know exactly what to say anyways.

"So...does that mean you'll be taking the job hime?" Jiraiya asked now that the fight was over.

"Huh. Well, whatever. Can we go to the library so I can learn to read now?" Gemini asked, with childlike enthusiasm.

Naruto perked up, listening for the answer. Without meaning to, he released the seal that was keeping his ears and tail hidden.

Gemini jumped up, suddenly energized, and followed Temari. "To the library!" She echoed.

Naruto nearly fell over when the woman, Shizune he thought, glomped him. "W-woah, hey! Take it easy, I'm tired! And I have a girlfriend." He said, knowing that Yugito wouldn't be too happy to see him being hugged by another woman.

Temari led the vixen through the village and towards the library, noticing the stares from the civilians and shinobi alike but not paying it any attention. They were only looking at Gemini with looks of curiosity, wondering who she was.

Shizune quickly let go of the fox before apologizing several times in rapid succession. "It was just that you were so cute..." she said before regaining her composure.

Being the smart-ass she was, Gemini met all the stares with a cheerful smile and wave. She didn't bother to hide her ears or tail, and even flaunted them. It was almost like a dare: Go ahead, make a big deal. I'll give you all a reason to be scared.

Naruto blushed, though he still looked stunned. "U-uh...yeah...thanks..." He shook his head to clear it, then turned to Jiraiya. "Ero-Sannin, can we go now? I'm starving, and I want to train with Yugito-chan back home."

Temari glanced back at Gemini before sighing lightly. "Stop that. You're just as bad as Gaara-nii" she exclaimed as she led the vixen towards the library.

"Yeah, I'm sure we can go back to Konoha now. Mission Complete," Jiraiya replied. "How about we stop for something to eat first and then we head back to Konoha?" he asked, adding that it would be his treat.

Gemini crossed her arms. "These people are starting out with a strike against them in my book. I'm just waiting for someone to make a big deal so I can rip them all a new one." She said defiantly.

Naruto cheered. "All right! But it better really be your treat this time! I'm not letting you stick me with the bill like you did last time, dattebayo!" He said, going from ecstatic to threatening in two seconds flat.

"Fine by me, as long as you don't start anything Gem-chan. Let the idiots do that," Temari replied with a light sigh, knowing that there would be no stopping her, she could only do damage control. As the daughter of the previous Kazekage, she had to at least pretend to care about the people

"I remember that event quite well. Didn't we get you back for that by sending you into the baa-chan's area of the onsen with our respective flames?" Yugito asked as she remembered the event with a light laugh.

Gemini nodded. "Of course, I know better than to instigate. The one who starts it is always at fault, and that holds up when you're on trial. If there was one thing my foster father did manage to teach me, it's that you never throw the first punch. Literally or figuratively." She said.

Naruto laughed as well. "Yeah, we did do that. I wouldn't mind doing that again, but this time with Rasengan." He said, grinning deviously.

Temari nodded at that, knowing Gemini's logic was soundproof and she really couldn't argue with it."Alright then," was all that she said. Before long, they were at the library.

"I think two Rasengans would kill him Foxy-kun,"Yugito responded, still in her true form. After Shizune apologized, she sensed nothing from the girl. And it wasn't like anyone was going to give her grief about it.

By the time they reached the library, Gemini was almost vibrating with nervous energy and excitement. She couldn't wait to go in, but at the same time, she was worried about people noticing that she couldn't read.

Naruto pouted. "Yeah, I guess you're right...more fun to keep him alive. We still haven't gotten to see Baa-chan punch him through a wall." He said, brightening up at the idea.

"Relax Gem-chan. No one will make fun of you while I'm around. They might talk behind your back, but no one's going to attempt anything while you're with me," Temari said as they got closer to the oak doors of the library.

Yugito smirked at Naruto."True, plus I'm always right," she said with a light laugh, teasing her boyfriend.

"Thanks, Temari-san. I hate it when people talk behind your back, though. It's cowardly and rude..." Gemini said, frowning slightly. "I would rather someone just say whatever they're saying straight to my face."

"Okay, I'll give you that. You are always right." Naruto said agreeably. If it were anyone else saying they were always right, he would have argued, but not Yugito.

"You're not the only one who thinks that Gem-chan," Temari responded before leading her inside.

Tsunade laughed at the scene the two of them had. "Alright, alright, let's get going. Before I change my mind," she said. She wasn't going to actually change her mind, but they didn't need to know that.

Good to know." Gemini replied, following. Once inside, Gemini was struck silent, staring at the huge space filled with books. It was like heaven for book lovers.

Naruto waved a hand. "Yeah, yeah. I just want food." He said, starting to walk.

Temari filed the way that Gemini looked into her mind for later, when/if blackmail was applicable. "Now then...we need you to start learning how to read. Did Naruto-san teach you that clone technique of his by chance?" she asked.

Both Yugito and Jiraiya laughed at Naruto's statement before they, Shizune, who was holding Tonton the pig, and Tsunade all left the battlefield, intent on getting towards a restaurant somewhere so that they could eat.
