Gemini waited for Amaya to leave before talking. "So, I assume this place has some good memories for you?" She asked. She wanted more than anything to hear something positive that had happened to him.

"It does actually. Whenever I just wanted to get away from all the glares, I could come here. Amaya-chan would fix me a cup of hot cocoa or tea, and just wait for me to start actually talking," he replied as Amaya came back with their food.
"he's also highly protective of me. I remember when a few customers were hassling me because I was housing the 'demon raccoon' or trying to get into my pants," Amaya said with a light giggle as she remembered what happened during the two incidents...it was safe to say that the population of Suna knew not to mess with Amaya along with any of the Sand Siblings... |
Gemini giggled. "That sounds about right. I knew right from the beginning that Gaara-kun was really just a big softie inside." She said. "That's why I trusted him so easily."

"Oi, I'm right here you know," he responded.

"I know, but I don't mind you knowing how I feel. I'd be a pretty sucky girlfriend if I didn't tell you that kind of thing. Feel free to share your first impression of me." Gemini said casually.

"You were the second one that my sand didn't want to automatically kill, maim or destroy so I figured it would be better to get to know you, just out of curiosity as to why my sand wasn't reacting to you in a negative manner like it does with others. And before you ask, the first was Amaya-chan," he replied before taking a bite out of his burger.

Gemini made a thoughtful sound as she chewed on her first bite of steak. "Wow, that's good." She said. "Anyway, you did an excellent job of hiding any confusion. Every time you looked at me- which wasn't often- I felt like ice was forming in the air.ti Still, that alone got me interested, along with your double aura."

"Double Aura?" Gaara asked.

Gemini nodded. "Yeah. Remember when we met, just before the second exam? I said that you had two chakras, like Naruto-kun did, but yours were different colors than his. I call that a double aura, and so far I've only ever seen it on three people. You, Naruto-kun, and Yugito-san. You guys were surprised that I could see chakra, remember?" She said.

"Oh yeah, that's right. You said you could see the chakra of ourselves and of our tenants," Gaara responded, knowing that Amaya already knew about him being a Jinchuuriki.

"Right. At that time, the only person I'd ever seen with a double aura was Naruto-kun, and back then I didn't even know what he was. So seeing that same anomaly in you intrigued me, to the point where I simply had to ignore the death glares and get to know you better." Gemini said, her cheerful tone sounding strange with that particular choice of words.

Gaara just shook his head at that before taking another bite out of his burger, mentally muttering about crazy vixens.

Gemini smiled, having some idea where his thoughts were going, and continued eating her steak. "I was right about you, though." She said after a moment. "Whatever else went on, I was still right about you."

"I guess you were," Garra replied with a light shrug. His brother would be teasing him about that fact somehow, but right now he really didn't care.

Gemini stayed quiet through the rest of the meal, just enjoying the food and the fact that she was alone with Gaara. In her mind, everything at that time was perfect.

Gaara thought everything at this point and time was perfect. He had good food and out on the town with his girlfriend, though something was telling him that someone or another would try screwing it up before the night ended.

Once she finished, Gemini sat back and stared at Gaara for a moment. "As soon as we get home, I'm taking a shower." She said randomly, for no other reason than to speak.

"Make sure to lock it then. We've all come to an agreement that if you forget to do so, it's your own fault if someone comes into the bathroom while you're getting out of the shower," he replied nonchalantly. It had, sadly, happened in the past. And it really was an accident on his brother's part.
It was actually nice to relax for once after a hard day of doing various missions, as well as training. Though she didn't train as much as her boyfriend, she still did train so that her skills as a kunoichi wouldn't go to rust. Then there was that mission she just got back from, and quite honestly was glad that the teacher gave her and the others a break... (I don't think we put her on the same team as Naruto, but I could be wrong) |
Gemini shivered slightly. "Noted, I'll make sure to triple lock it. I don't trust your brother." She said, not sure whether to chuckle or get angry.
After a long day of intense training, Naruto was headed home. He had been training even harder since the day he was rejected as a chunin, to make sure he was ready for the next opportunity. As he entered his apartment, he wondered where Yugito was, but figured she was busy somewhere else. Grabbing a fresh set of clothes, the blonde ninja headed into the bathroom for a shower, and was greeted with something unexpected. "GAH! Y-Yugito-chan!!" Blushing past crimson and all the way to purple, Naruto dashed out of the bathroom, slamming the door behind him. "I'm so sorry! I didn't know you were in there, dattebayo! Please forgive me!" He called through the closed door. ((Yugito turned down the Chunin position, remember?)) |

Yugito blushed deeply, her own skin changing from her normal color to that of a deep red. 'Oh god...Mata-chan is going to have a field day with that...' she thought as she finally brought her head out of the water, still blushing up a storm. "I-It's okay. I t-thought you would be out longer," she said through the closed door. "Noted," Gaara said with a light chuckle. "He means well, I think, but sometimes he just doesn't think with the right head," he said with a light shake of the head. |

Still leaning against the wall outside the bathroom, Naruto was trying desperately to cool his blush. "S-so did I, really. I should have knocked, though...I'm just not used to having someone else around. I'm really sorry. I promise I'll make sure to knock from now on, 'tebayo." He swore, knowing that the Kyuubi was going to tease him to no end about this one. Well, that statement decided her reaction for her. Gemini snorted, trying not to laugh, but ultimately failed and burst out in giggles. "My, you certainly know how to turn a phrase! I couldn't have put that better myself." She said, in between fits of giggles. |

"N-no, it's alrighrt nya," she responded as her cheeks aflamed as Matatabi started offering...suggestions. Suggestions that she was sure of would have Naruto running away from her rather than joining in. Besides, she was going at her own pace; if sex happened between them later on down the road then she was okay with that...but she didn't think they were ready for that step in the relationship...not yet. "Oh what's this? You walked in on your future mate?" Kyuubi asked teasingly. Though he did add in two other things: if Yugito was mad at him for doing that, she would be throwing stuff at him, either jutsu or some sort of ranged weapon. And the second was ask why he didn't join her in the bath... |
Naruto's face turned red once again, making him feel like he was on fire. Would you shut up! There's no way either of us is ready for that kind of thing, dattebayo! Stupid, pervert fox...if you want to talk about that kind of thing, why don't you have "the talk" with Gemini-chan? Naruto shot back, knowing that last bit would shut the fox up for a little while.

The Kyuubi was about to comment on the fact he was only teasing before hearing Naruto's comment, effectively shutting him up for the moment. While it was true that he could give Gemini "The Talk", he wasn't sure if she was ready for that...yet.

Naruto picked up his clothes, which he had dropped in his embarrassment, and headed to the couch to wait. He didn't want to rush Yugito out of the bath- his face turned red again at the thought of Yugito in the bath- so he decided to chill out. He ended up nodding off on the couch.
