"Excellent." Tony grinned. "He won't be hovering and glowering the whole time." He linked Charles' arm through his own and headed for the kitchen.

"So, everything still going fine? No one's blown anything up yet?"

"That depends, are the explosions ranked on a normal scale or the Stark scale?" Charles asked teasingly. "On a normal scale: nothing out of the ordinary for this family. On the Stark Scale: we've been positively boring."

Tony laughed a bit at that. "Well, that's boring, you need to do better than that," he teased. Then he spotted Remy. "And, really, now you've got no excuses, none whatsoever, you've got him here, he's supposed to love explosions, and don't kids love explosions? You need more."

"Gambit was wonderin' when you'd show your face, Stark," Remy said, grinning. "Been too long."

"There was a slight mishap a few days ago," Charles interjected. "The explosions have been toned down a little since."

Tony grinned and waggled his eyebrows at Remy. "Well, if I'd known you were here, I would have come a lot sooner."

Then Charles' words registered and he blinked, looking back down at Charles. "Wait. Incident? What kind of incident?"

"It's been resolved," Charles replied. "Nothing to worry about anymore."

Remy just grinned and flipped a poker chip across his knuckles.

Tony watched him for a few moments before he looked at Remy and grinned.

"Aww, did you find a little play mate?" he teased. "Finally find someone to flick your cards at who can fling them back?"

"Better, mon ami," Remy said. "What's t' you?" He smirked a bit. "Little outside your skill set, non?"

"I am very good at blowing things up," Tony said with a grin. "Which you should know very well by now." He winked at Remy.

Crystal stopped when she saw the two, looking vaguely horrified. "Oh god there's two of them now."

"Ah, but your natural inclinations don' tend t' run by way of explosions," Remy pointed out, grinning. "Not like Gambit."

"It's like hearing an echo," Paige agreed, watching in fascinated horror.

"Bah, it's practically natural by now. Give me three minutes, a toaster, and a cell phone and I'll give you a bomb." Tony grinned.

"This doesn't seem good," Crystal muttered. "Think I should go break them up?"

"All Gambit needs is a deck of cards," Remy pointed out with a wicked grin.

"Leave them to it for a few more minutes," Charles said, shaking his head a bit. "They know to go outside for any explosions."

"Guess you won't be needing that phone, then," Tony said, making a grab for it playfuly. He could have it if he really wanted.

"This seems like such a bad idea," Crystal muttered.

Remy danced back a few steps, keeping just out of reach. He knew Tony could take it whenever he liked; this was just their game.

After a few more moments, Charles started to shoo them out.

"Alright, gentlemen, not in the kitchen," he said. "You remember what happened last time."

Crystal decided to help Charles out, walking over and snagging Remy's cards before heading outside.

Tony laughed a bit. "Someone's got quick fingers," he commented as he followed.

"Well, wouldn't be fair for anyone else if Gambit has all the fun," Remy pointed out as he followed Crystal to get his cards back.

Paige just sat at the table and watched them all go outside.

Crystal grinned a bit and kept the cards away from him for now.

Tony noticed the flirting and his eyebrows shot up as he settled near Paige to watch.

Paige glanced at Tony, a bit surprised.

"Not going to go join the fireworks?" she asked. "I thought that was kind of your thing."

"Nah, I'll let those two flirt," Tony said easily. "It's not often that he let's anyone take something from him."

Crystal grinned as she played keep-away. This was fun.

"They are flirting, aren't they?" Paige mused, watching the two.

Remy grinned and made a swipe for the cards, although he wasn't trying all that hard.

"They are. Moreso than usual for Remy." Tony grinned.

Crystal grinned and danced away from him, waving one of his cards at him teasingly.

Remy grinned and reached out, just barely touching the card. He didn't grab it, but the touch was enough for him to adjust the energy of the card slightly so it snapped and crackled a bit, but not so much that it would explode.

"Interesting," Paige murmured. Then she turned away, trying to find somewhere else to pin her attention for the time being.

Crystal snorted at him but didn't drop the card, giving him a bit of a look.

"I've given myself worse burns than that just playing," she said, though she did flick the card at him after a few moments.

Tony noticed and decided to be nice for once.

"So, how are you settling into the madhouse?"

"Well, not tryin' t' hurt you, cherie," Remy pointed out.

Paige blinked at the question. She hadn't expected him to pay any attention to her.

"Well enough," she ventured. "I'm still trying to find a new apartment."

"True enough." Crystal shrugged, stuffing her hands back in her pockets to curl around the rest of his cards. "I suspect if you were it would be much showier."

Tony snickered a bit. "Ah, still at that stage, then," he said with a grin. "I'm surprised, normally Charles pulls people in much more quickly."
