Yoake's face lit up. "Yay!" She said, grinning like an idiot. She turned her attention to Hiro. "And thank you. The only reason it was glossed up earlier was for an interview...but that's another ball of wax. Chocolate. Now. Me." She said, putting down her cappuccino and holding out her hand.

Yukina laughef and sat beside her handing her a box of chovolate. Then grabbed a box of povkey out for herself.

"So, tell me all you know about this case. I know you gave me the files and I went over them over lunch, but I'd like to hear it from you guys as well." Yoake said, pulling out a kit-kat and munching.

Yukina noddeddd."well ... there all in the city...there has been a few suspisious deaths in other citys, but the departments arer giving us a hard time to get thier information.But i did some hacking and got some details.At one of the sights, the victum left a note, saying I'm back .... then after that ,there were letters left ,written blood, and putting them together , it speled out Kira.",she said pulling up a map."but the deaths are all so speratic and at random times, so we cant tell if hes a student,or where to start looking..."
Hiro nodded."not only thatwe knw the ast Kira was a student, a hard working one, this Kira is diferent...a case a few days ago said that all evil must be vanquiched from the world .... that includes tose who get in my way",he said sighing."meaning we will more then likely be targets..." |
"Meaning we will have to do all we can to keep our identities secret, because we don't know whether or not this new Kira can see lifespans as the female Kira, Misa Amane, could twenty years ago." Yoake said, one of the kit-kats sticking out of her mouth. "And it's clear that Kira 2.0 sees anyone who doesn't agree with him or her as an enemy, and therefore evil. The original Kira, Light Yagami, saw the police as allies, to an extent."

Yukina gave a sigh."yeah",she said softly.
Hiro groaned."if thats the case how, do we do that?" |
"We can go about our ordinary lives, just as long as we use aliases when it comes to the investigation, and don't allow our photographs be associated with it." Yoake said. "It's just as well, as the only thing that has my picture on it is my driver's license."

Yoake's back straightened. "What are the details? Where? How?" She asked, her voice all business. Her mind went into overdrive.

Yukina went to the TV and turned it on. She sighed seeing a news reporter all ready on it.
Tv:"at12:00 today ... Kiniko Takutisha...was found dead outside his apatrtment from an aparent suiside. Witnesses say that Tkutisha broke onto the roof and jumped .... police have the area blocked off ,but from what we have been told ... Takutisha , had left a suiside note, the details have not yet been relased. Many of you remember Takutisha as the man who got away with 60 murders of young collage girls ... he was 45 years old, we will bring you more as we are givin udates" Yukina sighed."i remember that guy , he was guilty , but he used his inner conecctions to get freed ....." Hiro frowned."defentysound like something Kira would get his hands on....espessially leaving a suiside note" Yukina went to her labtop." when they get all the details, they'll be e-mailing them all over to us includeing security images from the apartment , and the convince store across the street..." |
"Good. Though there is one thing that bothers me." Yoake said, going over the notes and munching on a Ho Ho.

Yukina blinked looking to her."whats that?",she said frowning.

"If this is the work of a new Kira, then he--or she--is deviating. Or, more likely, deviating to try and throw us off his or her trail, by not killing by heart attacks." Yoake said.

Yukina nodded."yes but , the old Kira did suicide's once in a blue moon .....but as you said he ,or she is throwing us off" She said softly. Then blinked as her stomach growled with anger."dinner time, ill go get us take out , any requests?", she asked looking to them slipping her jacket on.
Hiro looked to Yoake." your pick, i can and will eat anything....",he said grinning. |
"Chinese food and pizza if you don't mind." Yoake said. "And plenty of it. And some pineapple on the side!"

Yukina nodded grabbing her keys."okay, i shall return",she said and headed out.

Yoake's stomach growled. "I hope she isn't too long." She said, going back to analyzing the files.

Yukina soon came back with her arms full of food.She laid it all out grabbing what she had ordered for herself. And left the rest for Yoake and Hiro. She flopped onto the couch as she ate and looked over more files as she did she dozed off into a light sleep. Once again she was in that dream again. She was in a forest , surrounded by a bunch of people in cloaks , walking towards a , alter of some sorts, she followed again she could here a baby crying .As she reached the alter ,she asw a pentagram drwn in blood on a flat stone table. The hooded figures stood around ,chanting. A man went to the head of the table and raised his arms ."Bring forth the sacrifice!" he yelled. Yukina watched as a young man and women walked forward with the crying baby. They laied the baby in the middle of the pentagram. "no",Yukina muttered wanting ti run to the baby but couldnt move. The man at the head of the tabble presented the young couple with a dager."give the inocent blood body and sole of your child to the shinigamis and bring back our savyor",he said calmly. The man and women both grabbed the dagger and raised it ."NOOOOO",Yukina yelled as they brought down the dagger, and the crying stopped instently. Yukina dropped to her knees. Then she blinked hearing sirens ,and saw flashing lights ,the hooded people started to scatter as police ran into the forest catching them one by one. Theyoung couple stood t the table ,staring down at thier now silent baby. The women then dropped to her knees and started screming, as if realizeing what they had just done.The man trield to grab her and pull her away, but the cops tackels him to the ground as some others subdooed the women. Yukina watched as they were all taken away, she tried to follwo but coulnt. She then watched as a cop walked to the alter andlooked heart broken at the site."how sick can people be",he said as he took out the dagger (wearing gloves of course) ,and then took off his jacket and warpped up the little babys body inside. The cop then had tears in his eyes."I'm sorry that we didn't get here sooner" .he muttered.Yukina then blinked as she heared someone yelling her name.She was pulled out of the dream with a jolt and sat up gasping, causeung Hiro, who had been trying to wake falling back over the coffee table.

Yoake was staring at Yukina. "You were having a pretty back nightmare," she said, the pork halfway to her mouth, still in her chopsticks. "You were thrashing around and kept saying something about a baby and blood."

Yukina sighed scraching her head."sorry about that",she said softly and sighed."Ive had that dream for the past year either every night or every other night"
Hiro sat up."really?" |
"It could be your subconscious trying to tell you something." Yoake said, sifting through the documents as she looked for a lead that had sparked her imagination. "Or something more."

Yukina frowned."maybe",she said getting up to streach."and what else do you think it could be?"

"Well," Yoake said, still flipping through files both on paper and on her tablet. "I'm not going to completely rule out the supernatural. After all, the first and original Kira had the use of a Death Note from a Shinigami. Perhaps these repeating dreams of yours are more than just your subconscious worries."

Yukina blinked."maybe",she said and though a moment."In the dream ....there is a large group of people .....they were all followeres of Kira, the killed a baby to give to the shinigamis to bring Kira back....."
Hiro looked to her."no way",he said jumping up going to his make shift desk pulling out a rather large file."here|,he said looking shocked handing the file to Yukina. Yukina looked to him."what is it" Hiro stared at her."just open it" |
Yoake raised an eyebrow in curiosity...even if it was the morbid time. "Yet another reason the Kira cult needs to be dissolved somehow," she sighed. "Killing babies? That's just sick. They're taking lessons from the Aztecs."
