Joey was in his home like always and getting ready for school and got his school outfit on and he looked himself in the mirror and looked good like always. Joey got his bag and left for school and when he got there he saw Yugi his best friend and went to them.

Rosa was new to the town and he came with his father was a rich guy her mom just died and Rosa is a little goth but sweet. Rosa got her school outfit on and she was the new girl and she came in the classroom and then she looked around and then she looked at her book.

Seto stood and listened to a man in a nice looking suit talk, looking rather bored. He enjoyed making deals, but he'd sooner rather be working on his deck. The school would soon start classes and he was legally obliged to attend. He bowed out of the conversation and soon made his way to the school.

Amelia grabbed her messenger bag and threw it over her shoulder, heading out of her home. She would soon be attending the school that Seto was in. She was so excited she could barely contain herself. She almost ran to the school, her hands gripping the strap of her bag tightly.

Joey was laughing having a duel with his friend Yugi and he laughed and had a good. Joey heard a new girls come to the school and he saw one of them he thought she was cute and sad. Joey then saw another a new girl and Seto and he smirk he and Seto didn't get along.

Rosa was reading her book before class started and then she saw a man coming in and know who he was it was Seto her father told her about him she thought he was handsome. Rosa then saw a girl and didn't know who she was but she was shy and didn't talk still.

Seto soon found the classroom and was greeted by his little cousin, who smiled happily up at him. "Hello, Seto." She was still holding the strap of her bag quite tightly. He smiled down at her a little, nodding. "You sure grew up fast." This made her blush softly and nod, then she headed into the classroom and sat one desk behind him. She had skipped a few grades and didn't really want too many people to know. She technically was only a year younger than the average-aged students in their class, but she wasn't going to say anything to anyone about it. And she knew Seto wouldn't say anything either.

Joey looked at the girl and then got closer to her and was in shock and told yugi "guys that girl looks cute." Yugi laughed and then Tea hit him and said "don't you know who she is that is Rosa Hatsune she is the daughter of that business she is rich she is rich like seto is." She sigh. Rosa looked at them and sigh and she reads still. Joey saw Seto and said "Hey Kaiba what do you know about Rosa Hatsune?"

He raised an eyebrow at Yugi's friend when he spoke to him. "She's rich." He left it plain, a sort of spark in his eye that said he wasn't going to tell him much without something in return.

Amelia couldn't help but giggle softly to herself. She hadn't wanted to draw any attention to herself, but she knew what Seto could be like sometimes.

Joey sigh and got mad and then looked at her and grinned and said "well come on Kaiba you got to say it she is cute." Joey grinned and then saw the girl who giggled and he blushed a bit and then looked at his friends and laughed.

Rosa heard that she was rich and she sigh and she was not happy that she was rich and then she stood up and then looked at the man they called Seto and she looked at him with her red eyes and her eyes were sad and like she didn't care either. Rosa left the class room and went to the bathroom and sigh.

Seto said nothing more, but sat at his desk next to his cousin. Amelia had seen Joey look at her, but didn't say anything to him. She just turned silent and looked at Seto. He shook his head a little and she just sort of stayed quiet. She thought the boy was the complete opposite of her and that intrigued her. Seto had seen the way Rosa looked at him, but he said nothing to her. He had tried to be polite, but that seemed to upset her as well. He just sort of gave up on it now.

Rosa came back from the bathroom and her eyes were more sadness and then went to her seat and didn't say anything. Joey sigh and then stood up and went to her and said "Hello I'm Joey." Rosa looked up at him and then Joey smiled and said "you are new here so maybe my friends and I can help you." Joey smiled at her. Rosa looked at him and for the first time she smiled and said something "Thank you Joey I'm Rosa." Rosa looked back at his friends and smiled at them and then said "who are the two people in the back?" Joey looked at the back and smiled but grinning at the same time "That is Kaiba the rich boy in the school." Joey put his thumbs up and then Joey friends came to her and they talked to her and Rosa smiled to them and then looked back at Seto and she smiled at him and then the girl next to him.

Seto raised an eyebrow when Rosa looked at him, but nodded an acknowledgement. Amelia smiled shyly at her, then returned to looking at her desk. Seto soon nudged her a little and motioned towards the group that Rosa had been sucked into. "Now, that is a group you don't want to get involved in. They're not going anywhere in the world." Amelia nodded slowly, but the way they acted around each other made her a little envious.

Joey got mad at him and said "hey! we might not have money like you do but we have friends and understand each other and why would you care if Rosa is with us?" Joey then grinned and said "are you jealous that she picked us over you Kaiba." Joey looked at the girl and smiled at her. Rosa heard Seto voice and wonder why he didn't want her to be with them and then looked at the girl and then stood up and grabbed her hand and said "lets be friends okay." Rosa smiled at her.

Seto raised his eyebrow, this time grinning. "I didn't offer." How could he be jealous? That made no sense. Amelia's eyes widened slightly when Rosa came and grabbed her hand. She bit her lip and nodded ever so slowly. "O-okay." She soon looked like she regretted the decision though, from the look she saw Seto give her.

Rosa smiled at her and then looked at Seto with her sad eyes she was different towards him to others she was calm and happy but she was putting on a act. Joey looked at Seto and sigh and then saw the teacher came and then knew class started. All they took there sits and class started it was lunch time and Joey Yawned and said "this is getting tiring." Joey put his head on the desk. Rosa got up and didn't look tired "school just makes me bored." Rosa said and left the classroom and then was going to the bathroom until a guy hit on her and he almost hit her.

(He almost hit her?)

Seto didn't speak to Amelia after all that. He just got up and left the room. She looked after him almost frantically. She hopped up from her seat and went after him. She pleaded with him softly, trying not to draw attention. When he saw the scene between Rosa and the guy that was hitting on her, he walked up calmly and stood behind the guy. "Are you alright, Rosa?" The way he said it was almost territorial. He knew how to be a bully when he needed to be. This made Amelia smile a little and she just watched from the side.

Rosa looked at the guy and then saw someone behind him and it was Seto and she nodded at him. The guy turned around and then grabbed seto by the shirt and said "So the rich boy protecting a girl that is gold but what is she to you?" The guy smirked. Joey came out and saw what was going on and looked at them and sigh and knew Seto can take care of him but he wondered why he is protecting her.
(first the guy flirt with him and then he tries to hit her)

Seto raised an eyebrow when he was grabbed. "I don't like scum like you walking my halls." Since he put a lot of money into the school, he felt like he owned it. He took hold of the guy's wrists, gently at first, then almost hard enough to break them. He pried the hands off of him and let him go. Then socked him squared in the nose. Amelia gasped softly then turned to leave quickly, knowing how angry Seto could get and it never ended nicely. She ran straight into Joey and stumbled backwards.

Joey watched and then saw the girl was falling and then Joey Catch her and said "sorry that I stood there are you alright?" Joey looked at her and he looked cool. The guy was in pain and then looked at him and smirk at him and said "yea yea but this girl is nothing to you then why save her we all know you are rude to everyone." The guy Smirk and then turned around and then looked at Rosa and walked towards her. Rosa backs up a bit and then saw how mad seto was.

Amelia blushed and didn't move. "I-It's my fault. I should have looked where I was going." Seto almost instantly grabbed the back of the guy's collar and threw him to the side, away from Rosa, before he could do anything. "Leave. I will not warn you again." He now placed himself between the two of them.

Joey smiled and then stood her up and said "no it is my fault not yours." Joey smiled and then said "why are you leaving anyway?" The guy growled at him and then walked away and said "I will come back for her just you wait Kaiba!" The guy left and he was in pain. Rosa looked at him and then Seto threw him and he was in front of her he was protecting her and when the guy left Rosa looked at Seto "Thank you Seto but why save me?" Rosa thought it was nice of him.

Seto soon just watched him walk away, then he straightened himself and looked at Rosa when she spoke. "I don't condone violence against women." Then he looked a little more relaxed. "You should really watch yourself. I doubt he will come around if I'm near you though." Amelia looked a little frantic, then realized it was over. She visibly relaxed. "Seto gets angry if I watch him fight." She said under her breath, realizing how dumb it sounded she didn't look at him.

Joey looked at her and then looked over to them and said "it is the first time I ever seen him fight when it comes to his brother he gets mad but its rare for him to protect a girl." Joey looked at her and then smiled at her and said "is there anything I can do for you?" Rosa looked at him and smiled at him "thank you Seto and I will." Rosa smiled him a bit and then she bowed to him and said "I don't think you are a rude man like what people say about you." Rosa walked past him and walks back to the classroom.

Seto just grinned a little bit. Oh, he was rude, she didn't know the half of it. There was just something the snapped in him when he saw her about to be hit. Amelia smiled a little bit, then slowly shook her head. "Not unless you can get Seto to stop being upset with me."

Joey looked at her and then said "I don't think he is upset with you." Joey sigh and said "well we better get back to class." Joey walked and he looked cool when he said that. Rosa was in class and then saw Joey and the girl came in and she smiled and then when class started she listen to the teacher and she was thinking of Seto but then tried to forget about it. When school was over Rosa got up and then dropped her deck. Joey was half asleep and then saw her deck and was in shock he came over to her and said "you duel as well?" Rosa saw Joey and nodded and said "why yes before I moved I was best duelist in my old school but I gave it up." Rosa picked up her deck and put it in her pocket. Just then the guy came in again with his friends and smirk and said "rich boy we challenge you to a duel and if we win we get the girl." Joey sigh and said "why would he do that anything." Joey looked at Seto.

She smiled a little as he walked away, then she caught up and walked with him silently to class. Seto had gone to class after Rosa left and sighed, sitting in the back with Amelia. He was being a little kinder to her and she felt better. Seto noticed the deck too and grinned to himself. Amelia giggled a little when the boys came in and challenged Seto. He just chuckled. "Well, since she isn't mine, why not duel her? She says she was the best at her last school, let her prove it."
