"I may have to hang around to see that," Bucky mused. Because that promised to be very, very amusing.

"Next time we're all training I'll let you know." Steve snickered. "Or you could just follow Doreen, she goes where the action is."

"We'll see," Bucky said. He carefully checked over his arm, making sure the joints were all in good order, and finally put it back on. He flexed the fingers a bit, calibrating them.

Steve noticed that he didn't actually seem opposed to the idea and snickered. Oh yeah, he really needed to ask Doreen out.

Bucky rolled his eyes at the snickering and promptly ignored it.

A few days later, Steve was lounging in the living room watching Laurel go through the blog while Doreen was busy trying out some new recipes.

Bucky was sitting at the kitchen table, his metal arm in front of him as he inspected the connector in the shoulder. Something had been catching inside, and he was trying to figure out what.

Laurel was picking through the ocean of messages that got left on the blog all the time. She'd reached the point where she had Jarvis answer the easier ones, but that still left a lot to go through.

"Need some help?" Doreen asked, glancing at him as she stirred some candy on the stove.

Steve watched her for a few moments. "Looks like you've got a lot of work there. Want some help with it?"

"I'm good," Bucky said around the little flashlight between his teeth. He picked between wires and other metal bits with a tiny pair of pliers.

Laurel blinked and looked at him.

"You want to?" she asked, a bit surprised. "Sure, go for it."

"Alright. Let me know if you change your mind." Doreen stirred for a few more moments before she poured it into a pre-prepared pan to let it set up.

Steve nodded and pulled up another screen, starting to look through the questions and answering the ones he felt comfortable with. He didn't mind. Although some of them did really make him wonder about people.

"What're you making?" Bucky asked, putting the pliers down for a moment so he could take the flashlight out of his mouth.

Laurel kept and eye on Steve just to make sure he was alright with answering some of the questions. She grinned a bit.

"I wonder what people would do if they knew it was you answering instead of some faceless blogger," she commented.

"Lollipops," Doreen said with a grin. "Pomegranate lime. This is kind of a test, so we'll see how this goes."

Steve chuckled. "They'd probably freak out," he said with a grin that wasn't entirely innocent. "It could be very fun to watch."

"That's... kind of a weird combination," Bucky commented, watching her work.

"We could," Laurel offered, her grin just a hair shy of being wicked.

"Yeah, I'm not really sure how it'll taste, I got the recipe from one of my favorite cooking shows," Doreen said with a shrug. "That's why this is a test batch. But if I can make these I can figure out other flavors too."

Steve grinned and signed the next post "Captain Steven Grant Rogers, US Army". Now to sit back and watch the fireworks.

"Let me know how it turns out," Bucky said. He grinned. "Feed one to Clint, see what happens."

The fireworks were immediate and fantastic. The reblogs and likes on the post multiplied faster than the counter could keep up, and the number of new messages in the inbox tripled.

"Ooh, now everyone's freaking out that the Avengers are on the other end of the blog, too, not just some PR person," Laurel said, grinning. "That was very nearly evil, Steve."

Doreen snickered. "I was planning on it, he's practically my official taster by now anyway." She grinned. "And he's never even gotten food poisoning."

Steve grinned. "No one ever said I have to be nice all the time," he pointed out, grinning as he watched people essentially freak out.

"Knowing Natasha, he's probably resistant to being poisoned by now," Bucky commented, going back to working on his arm.

Laurel grinned and quickly typed up an official post.

As you can all see, the Avengers do indeed look at this blog. Captain Rodgers has been replying to messages for the last half an hour or so. If you have any questions for him, ladies and gents, now's the time to ask. He may not be able to get to all of them, though, so be aware of that.

"I wouldn't be surprised," Doreen said. "Actually I wouldn't be surprised if she's working on all of us."

"Now that was mean," Steve said with a grin as the veritable floodgates opened and questions started pouring in from all sides. "But really kind of fun."

Bucky snorted. No, he wouldn't be surprised, either. Natasha had a bit of a fondness for experimenting with Russian poisons.

"Answer as many as you like," Laurel said, grinning. "When you're done, I'll put up a post saying so, and we'll set the rest aside for another time."

Steve grinned and started answering some of the questions. Not all of them, but the ones he felt were fine and not invasive or inappropriate. And there were definitely some of those.

Bucky fiddled with his arm for a few more minutes before sighing and putting the flashlight down. He couldn't figure out what was catching inside, and he couldn't take it apart with only one hand. He knew who could, but he was a bit wary of going to find Tony when he still didn't know where he stood with the genius.

"Sure you don't want anything?" Doreen asked, looking at him. "I can take a look, or I can talk to Tony and tell him not to go overboard."

"I'm deciding if going to him is a good idea," Bucky replied. He was running the risk assessment in his head, weighing his chances of not getting shot against being able to tempt the engineer with the metal arm.

"I'll go with and talk to him, if you want," Doreen offered. "I'm pretty good at distracting, wrangling, even the occasional tackle when called for."

"Thanks, but I don't think that's quite the right course of action this time around," Bucky said. Picking up his arm, he stood up. Best to get it over with.
