"Yeah," Dori admitted after a momentary pause. "Sometimes. Sometimes I just don't want to go back to sleep." Those nights were usually the worst. When it was just insomnia keeping her awake, she could be productive or at least relax in bed and rest. On the nights that she woke up sweating and cold from nightmares, she couldn't do anything but get up and keep busy.

"I know how that feels," Bucky said, nodding. "At least you do something constructive with your time." He have her a bit of a grin. "I just beat up more of Steve's punching bags."

Dori snorted. "I'm pretty sure they're his and yours now," she said dryly. "And if you want something constructive to do, you can always come see if I'm up and I'll put you to work doing something."

Bucky snorted.

"They're his until they stop showing up painted red, white, and blue," he said. "But I might take you up on that, we'll see."

"That's just Tony's sense of humor," Doreen said with a shrug. "He knows it flusters Steve on occasion. I'm pretty sure he has footage of Steve getting flustered over everything being red, white, and blue somewhere, and he just watches it and cackles."

"I'll bet," Bucky said. Really, he was just glad that the genius hadn't tried any of that on him yet.

Dori patted his shoulder again and went back to working on various food items, because she could.

Back in the living room, Laurel was watching Steve answer questions on the blog.

"We should do a livestream," she commented. "Or at least a real-time chat or something. I think people would like that."

"We could do that," Steve agreed. "Try one out and see how it goes. If it goes well we can do those once in a while. I'm thinking from their reactions people would like that." He made a motion at the screen.

Laurel nodded.

"Yeah," she agreed. "Maybe just once in a while with someone different runnning the chat for an hour or so?"

"Yeah. I think Thor would like this, he usually likes to talk to people. Tony is kind of hit and miss, I guess it would depend on the questions." Steve shrugged. "Clint and Natasha would also depend, on their moods and on the questions and on how mean she feels like being." Because it would be Natasha being the mean one. Clint was mischievous, but not mean.

"I'll run the idea by Coulson and see what he thinks," Laurel said. "For right now, this is good, and you're more than welcome to stop whenever you feel like."

Steve chuckled but kept answering questions for a bit. There were just so many questions and he felt bad leaving any of them unanswered, but he knew he'd have to eventually.

Laurel already had a post prepared for when he stopped.

"Here," she said, pointing at part of the screen. "When you're done, go into drafts and hit the post button on the entry there, it'll tell people that nothing else will be answered for now."

"Alright." Steve answered two more before he went ahead and hit the post button. "That's not bad. I could do that every week or so. As long as they're well-behaved like this."

"I'll run the idea by Coulson," Laurel promised. "Though I can't imagine he would have a problem with it at all."

"I can't think of a reason why he would object," Steve agreed. "We'll try it and see what happens."

Laurel nodded and settled in a bit. When she noticed how close to him she was, she turned a bit pink. She hadn't realized just how close she sat to him, since she'd been distracted by Bucky and Doreen.

Steve smiled a bit, also rather nervous. He knew he and Buck still had a deal, after all.

"Want to go grab a coffee?" he asked after a moment. "I feel like walking somewhere. Might as well be to coffee."

Laurel blinked.

"By 'walk' you mean not just to the kitchen?" she asked, looking at him carefully. She could have sworn he'd just asked her out, but she wasn't sure.

"Yeah. There's this little place I know a few blocks from here. Owned by a real nice couple." Steve smiled a bit, looking rather hopeful.

Laurel blushed when she realized that yes, he was asking her out.

"Sure," she said before she could second-guess herself. "Sounds like fun."

"Excellent." Steve grinned and got to his feet. "Shall we, then?"

Laurel grinned a bit, still pink, and nodded.

"Sure," she said, getting up as well.

Steve walked with her to the elevator and then out around the block and down a little ways to the coffee shop. It was one of his favorite places, and the owners knew him.

"How do you take your coffee?"
