Hikari shook her head. "Oh, no, it's okay. I like -Hime. Especially when you say it. I just wanted to know why, that's all." She said, smiling sheepishly.

"Alright then Hika-hime," Ark replied with a smile of his own.

Blushing, Hikari didn't say any more as they went and got their food and returned to the table.

Amaya blushed lightly in embarrassment as her stomach growled at her, demanding that it should go get some food.

Ark sat down next to Hikari after he had gotten his breakfast and noticed Naruto was ready to bolt once again if the situation called for it, knowing that it was because of his girlfriend's actions earlier.

Itachi smirked playfully. "I'm hungry. Shall we go get breakfast?" He said, sparing her the embarrassment.

Hikari noticed Naruto looking at her warily. "Ah, Naruto-san...I'm not going to snap at you again. I just needed you to leave the room at that time. I'll explain why later."

Naruto was hesitant, but nodded. "Okay...as long as you're not going to do it again...that was scary, 'tebayo." He said nervously.

"All women can become scary Naruto. Remember that," Yang said, for once being serious. After that, she went back to breakfast. A few seconds later, she had to blink because she couldn't believe her eyes. "Okay...is it just me or is Amaya walking with Itachi-sensei?' the pyro user asked.

"That sounds like a wonderful idea," Amaya said gratefully, glad that Itachi wasn't going to embarrass her about it. As they headed towards the cafeteria, she was surprised about the looks they were getting. Once inside, she thought she heard Yang asking a question to both her team and the team she belonged to, but couldn't hear the exact words.

Naruto sweatdropped, but stayed silent. He would definitely keep that in mind for later.

Hikari looked up, and smiled. "Yes, it is. Surprised?" She asked, feeling pleased to see the couple.

"I think we may be turning a few heads." Itachi said as they entered the cafeteria.

"A bit," Yang admitted as she watched the two get breakfast.

"I think your fangirls want to kill me..." Amaya admitted as she got some food, though she wasn't going to let that get to her.

"Well, I'm not surprised. They obviously like each other." Naruto said.

"Even Naruto-san saw it? That's saying a lot."

Itachi huffed. "Let them try. I'll protect you." He said.

"It's not all that surprising, seeing as how steadfast Itachi is, among other things. I'm happy for her," Areku responded. He also knew that Itachi was drawn to her kindness and compassion as well.

"Thanks, but I'm not just some damsel in distress," she replied, reminding her about the twin tonfa guns she had on her.

"I know. But for some reason, I can't help wanting to protect you." Itachi replied.

Amaya blushed lightly, not having someone say that to her for the longest of times. She was use to taking care of herself after dealing with the Fire..."I should probably head over to my teammates. I'll see you in class Itachi-sensei," Amaya responded. She was unsure if she should use the term "-kun" or "-sensei" and decided on playing it safe.

"I think it's cute," Ruby said with a light grin on her face.

Itachi nodded. "Very well. Have a good morning, Maya-chan." He said, deciding to take a chance.

Hikari beamed. "I think so, too. I'm glad they hit it off, those two are perfect for each other."

Amaya didn't say anything about the '-chan' suffix and grinned lightly.

"I wish I could find someone like that..." Ruby muttered softly.

"You'll find someone, Ruby. Any guy would be happy to date you." Hikari said confidently.

Weiss looked like she wanted to say something, but out of the tiniest bit of respect for her leader, she held back.

"You really think so?" Ruby asked, noticing Weiss out of the corner of her eye. "Weiss?" she asked.

"Uh, yeah...what she said..." Weiss said between clenched teeth.

Naruto looked uneasy. "Ah, don't push it, ruby-chan." He said.

"I'm confused... Ruby said, not understanding what Naruto was implying or why Weiss had a hard time saying that.

"Hey everyone," Amaya said as she sat down in the empty seat that was next to Naruto.

Naruto sighed, thanking whatever deity was watching for the distraction. "Hey, Maya-chan. How are you doing?" He asked.

"I see you met up with Itachi-sensei." Hikari added with a smile.

"A bit confused still...but better," Amaya mentioned as she noticed him looking at her curiously. "You two didn't tell him?" she then asked, wondering why they hadn't told Naruto about her mother still being alive.

"We were going to tell him once we were done with breakfast," Ark replied, though he noticed how Amaya didn't answer Hikari's question/inquiry.

"Tell me what? What's going on?" Naruto asked, looking back and forth between his friends.

"We kind of figured it would be better to talk about it somewhere more private." Hikari said, ignoring Naruto.

"Hika-hime's right Naruto. We'll tell you after we get back to our room," Ark said in agreement.

Naruto sweatdropped. "Fine...as long as I get to know. I hate being left out." He said.

"Trust me Foxy...it's not something others should hear; only the four of us," Amaya replied. "But enough about me. How is everyone doing this morning?" she asked.

Hikari smiled. "Well, I'm doing pretty well." She said cheerily.

"I'm pretty okay, too." Naruto said, his attitude changing right away.
