((Um...yeah, sure. Who's playing Sun?))
(not sure if I can play him successfully to be honest)
((Wolfie's not sure, either. She doesn't know his personality all that well. *headdesk* Wolfie hates running into walls like this.))
(Phoenix thinks we should play it by ear...)
((Probably. It's just a roleplay, the characters don't HAVE to be exact.))
(lol true)
Sun sighed lightly. He had wanted to ask Blake if she was seeing anyone, but seeing her kiss Naruto like that shot down all chances of him being with the cat faunus. He had felt a kinship with her and had hoped that it would become something more. |
Naruto, meanwhile, had absolutely no idea that there was any competition.
Catching sight of Sun, Hikari's mind started scheming. He might do well with Ruby-chan... |
Yang could sense Hikari plotting something. "Ark, mind if i borrow your girlfriend for a bit?" she asked, having a feeling that Areku wouldn't mind.
Hikari heard someone asking Ark something, and looked up in time to hear what Yang said. "What do you need, Yang-san?" She asked.
"I can sense you planning something involving my sister," she admitted in a low voice since the others were nearby.
Hikari raised an eyebrow. "You have very keen senses. I won't talk about it now, but meet me later in the courtyard and I'll fill you in." She said, hoping the fiery blonde would want to help.
"Thanks, and I'll meet you there" Yang said. Depending on what Hikari said, she would either help the girl or tell Ruby about it.
Once classes were over, Hikari told Ark to go ahead without her, and went to the courtyard to meet Yang.
Ark was curious as to what Hikari was doing, but didn't ask, not yet anyways. Though he would ask later on, for that he was sure of. Making his way back to the room, he went to do his homework, a little disturbed by the lack of people in the room. Amaya was with Itachi at the moment, and Naruto was on a date with Blake.
"Ruby, I'll be back later. I have some errands to run," Yang said before heading out the door, leaving so that she could head over to the Courtyard. She was curious as to what Hikari had planned for her sister. |
Once Hikari spotted Yang, she waved the blonde over. "Hey. So, to get straight to the point, Ruby-chan has been wanting a relationship, and I want to set her up. I think Sun-kun might be a good match, but I'm not sure. What do you think?"
(was starting to get worried...I was going to send you a message when I got home from work if I didn't see a response from you. You alright Wolfie-chan?)
"You want to set Monkey Boy up with my sister? Yang asked, more as a confirmation than anything else. The firey girl did admit that they fought well together at the pier battle, and from what she was told, Sun's weapon was a pair of Gun-Chucks. Dangerous, but effective. "I can see it happening, but it will take work. Sure Sun means well, but sometimes well...to be blunt, he can be such a male at times, if that makes sense?" Yang stated after a bit. "So...what's the plan?" |
((lol yeah, Wolfie is fine. Last night she was changing her cover photo on Twitter, and she couldn't make it work, so she literally spent hours trying to find a pic that fit. Turns out she had to drag and drop instead of clicking "open" so now she has a whole bunch of unnecessary cover photos. [sweat]))
Hikari chuckled. "I know exactly what you mean. That's what was giving me so much trouble earlier, which is probably why you noticed me making faces." She said, shaking her head. "Well, all I've got so far is to "arrange" a few "accidental" meetings between the two. Have them talk and get to know each other." |
(I see.)
"That plan is good for a start, but we'd have to think of something after 'phase 1'" Yang said as she thought to what would be the best way. "But first, I think we should let the two of them get to know each other, though we should probably give Sun a few tips..." |
Hikari nodded. "That's true. He probably won't know how to react to talking to a girl unless we tell him. We just have to make sure that neither of them knows it's a setup. Especially Sun-kun, since he's only just getting over Blake-chan. Actually, this could be the perfect time to make a move. Ruby-chan is just the type of person who would comfort him and end up earning his affection in the process."
"You make a very valid point. Though the question is how to make it work..." Yang said, knowing that between the two of them they could make something happen. She just hoped that it was something that would lead to what they were talking about.
"That's the dilemma. I think that if each of us talks to one of them, we could get them to start thinking about each other. That might start a chain reaction. Then, when they're on each other's minds enough, we can each ask one of them to go somewhere or run an errand or something. We'll follow at a safe distance, and we'll communicate with each other so that we know what route they're taking. We'll set up obstacles so that they run into each other on the way to whatever we asked them to do, and they'll talk..." Hikari said, mostly just scheming out loud. "To make is seem less suspicious, you should talk to Ruby-chan. Mention that Sun-kun is feeling down because of Blake-chan, and she'll probably start to feel bad for him and want to cheer him up. And I could talk to Sun-kun, and talk all good stuff about my friend Ruby-chan, make him think about her a lot."
"I like the way you think Ms. Starr," Yang said with a smirk. "So...when should we start this?" she asked, knowing that Hikari was doing much of the thinking and planning, she was just the hired help.
"Thank you, Yang-san." Hikari said, grinning. "I think we should start tonight, just casual conversation at first. The sooner they get together, the sooner they can both be happy."
"Good idea. I just hope they don't catch on," Yang replied, knowing that it was possible.
"Agreed. We'll just have to be careful." Hikari said. "We should probably get back to our rooms now, before someone gets worried and comes looking for us."
