((lol it's okay. Wolfie hasn't been able to watch anime in almost a year, because the audio jack on her computer is broken. There;s no sound at all.))
Hikari smiled. "That's pretty much what I've been telling myself this whole time. You know, you're very wise, Sun-kun." She said. |
(That sucks...Phoenix would resort to just reading subtitles at that point...though it wouldn't be the same.)
"You really think so?" Sun asked curiously glad for the compliment. |
((*Nods* Yeah, Wolfie's tried...it's just not the same.))
Hikari nodded. "Yeah, I do. Most people don't see things the way you do. I enjoyed talking to you, Sun-kun. But, I do have to be going. My team will be wondering where I am." |
"I understand. And thanks for the talk Hikari," Sun said, not realizing that Hikari's part of Operation Solar Flare was halfway complete. What he did know was that it was later than expected and he was starting to get tired.[I]'Perhaps I should call it a night...though where to sleep I wonder...'
Ruby was reading a good book, her homework done for the evening. After Yang disappeared, and still wasn't back yet, the girl with silver eyes was starting to wonder if Yang was okay. Just as she put the book away and was about to look for her older sister, Yang entered the dormroom with a grin on her face. "Yang, where were you? I was starting to worry about you," Ruby said. |
"Any time." Hikari replied, before walking away. She couldn't be sure just yet, but she had a feeling that her first mission had been successful. With that happy thought putting a smile on her face, she went back to her team's room.
Naruto looked up when Hikari entered. "Hey, where have you been? It's really late, dattebayo!" He demanded. |
(Gemini?)
"Just out for a walk sis. I'm a big girl, I can take care of myself," Yang replied before silently wondering if she could put her part of the plan into motion. Then again, with Blake and Weiss currently sleeping, perhaps she could. she would just have to be...delicate about it. |
((Dammit! Fixing...))
Hikari waved a hand vaguely. "I was out walking, needed some air." She said with a smile. "That's no explanation! Ark-san, make her tell us what she was up to!" |
"Naruto, I don't have to make Hikari-chan do anything. She's a grown woman and a huntress in training. If she said she was out for a walk, then she was out for a walk. Leave it be Naruto...or should I get Neko-chan involved?" he replied, using the fox's girlfriend as a threat. Besides, he knew Hikari would tell him sooner or later...hopefully sooner rather than later.
|
Naruto's jaw dropped, and he shook his head. "No, no, you don't have to do that. I still don't think she's fully telling the truth, but I'll leave it be." He said hastily.
Hikari smirked. "Thank you, Ark-kun. Now, it's late, so I'm going to bed." She said. |
"You're welcome, and good night Hika-chan," Areku replied after laughing lightly at Naruto's response. It was quite funny after all though he hoped that Hikari would talk to him later on...especially when it looked like she was up to something.
Yang mentally shrugged, knowing that sometimes the best approach would be the easiest approach. "Hey sis, what do you think about Sun? That monkey Faunus?" she asked, curious as to what her sister thought about the boy. |
"Good night, Ark-kun. Naruto-kun." Hikari said, mentally making a note to bring Ark up to speed soon before heading to bed.
|
Ark read a few scrolls that he was able to find after his family was killed a little while longer before yawning lightly. Seeing as they didn't have any classes tomorrow, he figured it would be a good day to sleep in. With that thought in mind, he bid Naruto a good night before setting his scroll to the side and closing his eyes, quickly falling asleep.
|
Naruto returned the good night, and flopped into bed himself. His plan was to take Blake on a for real date the next day, so he had to get a good night's sleep.
|
"Why do you ask sis?" Ruby replied as she put a bookmarker in the book she was reading before giving her sister her full attention.
|
((Urgh...Wolfie doesn't know how to play either of those characters...))
|
(Yang has a bubbly-like personality imho and I can play Ruby. It doesn't have to be perfect lol)
|
((lol okay, Wolfie will give it a shot.))
Yang shrugged. "I'm just curious. I was talking to Hikari about him, and he seems pretty cool." She said. |
"He did help Blake and me out at the docks...he seems like a cool guy," Ruby admitted as she remembered watching him fight for a bit through the scope on her Crescent Rose. "He's a bit on the reckless side though..." she added, not realizing what Yang was doing.
|
Yang nodded. "Yeah, a little bit. But you can be kind of reckless, too." She pointed out with a smirk. "Anyway, I heard that he's a little down because Blake's with Naruto now. You know he's got those gun-chucks, and I was thinking you could probably cheer him up a bit just by sparring with him."
|
"I'm not reckless. I'm...adventurous," Ruby replied. "But...you think a spar would help cheer him up?"
|
"Adventurous, right." Yang replied sarcastically. "Yeah, I think it would help. He seems like the kind of guy who likes a good fight."
|
Ruby blushed lightly as her sister called her out on her bluff, but didn't say anything about that. "You sure?"
|
"Totally. I've seen him fight, and he's good. Give it a shot." Yang encouraged.
|
"Alright, I will but I think it's best if that's done tomorrow," she admitted, since it was already quite late. She was just glad that tomorrow was a Saturday and that they didn't have classes on the weekend.
|
Yang nodded, rolling her eyes. "Well, duh. He's probably not even awake now. Get some sleep, knucklehead." She said, affectionately giving her sister a noogie.
