Hikari waved after her, then turned to Ark. "C'mon, we've gotta follow her!" She said excitedly, with a huge grin.

"You just want to see your handywork in action," Ark said with a light shake of his head. Then again, he, too, was curious about how Ruby would react to meeting up with the person that saved both herself and Blake that night at the docks...or so he heard.

Hikari chuckled. "Maaaaybe~" She said, winking and running after the other girl.

Ark sighed before following after his girlfriend, having a feeling that this would get interesting.

Hikari followed Ruby silently, sticking to the shadows like a ninja.

'Interesting...she's doing very good in stealth and speed,' Ark thought to himself as he kept up with Hikari in a similar fashion.

Sun had just finished stretching as he prepared himself for his morning workout, not knowing that three people were about to come and see what he was up to.

Hikari had to physically restrain herself from running into the area where Sun was. Instead, she jumped up to a tree branch where she could watch everything without being seen.

Ark quickly climbed the tree and sat on a branch that was close to Hikari. "You've been practicing the ninja stuff I told you about, I see," he whispered lightly as he watched Ruby enter the clearing.

Hikari nodded, grinning mischievously. "I've been working really, really hard on it. I'm still not great, but I'm getting better."

"I'd say you're just about ready to go to intermediate, I'm Elite so it wasn't hard for me to follow you, but someone like Ruby, Yang or Sun wouldn't be able to notice. Blake or Naruto might though, but that I'm unsure of," he whispered as he watched the scene play out, not bragging, just stating facts.

"Morning Ruby, what brings you out here? Sun asked as he saw the ravenette approach him on the training grounds that he frequented, curious.

Hikari blushed slightly at the praise. "Thanks..." She said, still not looking away from what was going on down below.

(to be honest, I wasn't exactly thrilled with the season finale of RWBY, but we do finally get to see all but Velvet fight in it so there's that. let me know your thoughts when you see it next thursday?)

"You're welcome," Ark replied softly, not wanting to alert Ruby or sun to their presence.

"I realized last night that I hadn't had a chance to thank you for saving Blake and me during the battle at the docks," Ruby admitted while laughing awkwardly.

Hikari nodded to show that she had heard him, but didn't speak for fear of missing something.

(Alex is another OC on a different RP that I do, but his nickname is Ark. I changed it)

"I was only doing what I thought was right Ruby. You don't have to thank me for that, but while you're here..." he asked, wondering if Ruby would take his offer up for a friendly spar or not.

((lol it's okay, Wolfie does that all the time.))

Hikari grabbed Ark's arm in excitement. Everything was going exactly as she'd hoped!

Meanwhile, across the clearing, Yang sat in another tree. She had gotten up early and followed Ruby without Hikari even knowing, and right then she was smiling like the cat that ate the canary.

(like what you did with Yang's statement, calling Hikari Gemini)

"While I'm here?" Ruby asked, wondering what Sun was about to ask.

"You mind sparring with me? Sun asked, not realizing that he was falling into the trap that was set up for him and Ruby by Yang and Hikari

((AH! How does Wolfie do that every time?! ))

Hikari tightened her grip slightly on Ark's arm, crossing her fingers. Please say yes, please say yes, please say yes...

On the other side of the clearing, Yang was having a similar reaction. Although, she was slightly less frantic, because she knew her sister. Ruby would definitely accept.

"I don't see any problem with that, sure," Ruby replied as she brought out Crescent Rose.

Hikari silently cheered, punching the air in triumph.

Yang smiled, pleased. Part one of operation Solar Flare was a success.

Hikari stayed to watch the whole sparring match, and was enthralled the entire time. Sun and Ruby sparring together was amazing to watch. Now all she needed was to see what they said to each other afterwards.

"That's my sister," Yang whispered as she watched Ruby and Sun spar, his semblance over the earth a great counter against Ruby's Speed. Between that, both Sun and Ruby were fighting on an equal footing and watched the whole match until it's finish: Ruby holding Crescent Rose over Sun and the monkey conceding.

"You aren't pretty bad Sun, that's pretty good," Ruby said as she held her hand out so that he could take it and for her to help him up. "Think we can do that again sometime?" she asked, not realizing that Areku was holding his hand over Hikari's mouth so as to stop her from shouting out loud in pleasure at the plan working out so far.

"Sure. Besides, I can't let the guys know I was beaten by a girl. I'd never live it down. Guy code and all," he replied as he took her hand and she helped pull him up.

True to Ark's guess, Hikari had been about to shout with joy, and was silenced only by her boyfriend's hand over her mouth. Even then, she was making a tiny, muffled squee, unable to contain herself.

Ruby turned towards the trees as she thought she heard something that sounded a lot like a feminine squee of pure joy, something that her sister would do quite easily. "Sun, did you hear that? she asked.

Hikari froze and glanced at Ark. That hadn't been her squeal...her eyes widened in realization. Yang must have been watching, as well.
