Athena settled back in as well. She nudged Natasha a bit.

"What are they cooking?" she asked. "You can tell better than I can."

Natasha sniffed. "Chicken, mixed vegetables, smells like Bruce is making some rice."

"They've got bread out," Chloe murmured, her own eyes closed as she sniffed. "And lemonade, I think."

Natasha nodded. She had a good sense of smell.

"Fantastic," Athena said, grinning. "That sounds amazing, I'm so glad Bruce likes to cook."

"The two of them cooking together is always good," Natasha agreed with a little grin. Because Clint on his own was good, as was Bruce, but the two of them together made enough food for everyone and it was delicious.

"Yes it is," Athena replied. She draped herself over the arm of the couch so she was looking at Chloe. "Bruce cooks every night," she explained. "We all take turns helping out, except Tony. Tony can't cook."

Chloe nodded. "I can cook," she said. "I can help out if you'd like."

"We'll add you to the rotation, then," Athena said, grinning a bit. "Tomorrow night's my turn, I think, and it won't be yours until after Thor, since he's before Clint." She paused and looked at Natasha. "Where is Thor, anyways? Did he go and try to head off the storm that's supposed to roll through?"

Natasha shrugged. "He was outside last I checked, going around the perimeter. He'll be back for dinner."

"I've never known Thor to miss dinner," Athena replied. She stretched a bit.

"That's because he never does," Natasha said dryly. "He might be playing with the storm, but he'll be back in an hour or less."

Athena grinned a bit.

"As long as he doesn't spark up the house," she said. "It took an hour for me to get the static out of my hair last time."

Natasha snickered and got up to go check on dinner and the rest of the house. She had to make sure Tony and Zee hadn't killed each other, after all.

Tony's tour of the house had ended up with the two of them in his workshop. It was the part of the workshop he didn't care if anyone else saw; he kept his day-to-day tinkerings and tech upgrades for the house in that part of the workshop. Personal projects were kept where nobody could see them.

Zee was having a great time looking through all the tech. Because he really liked technology, and he liked having new tech to play with. So he was more than happy to be in the workshop. He did glance over at Natasha when she entered though.

"Hey, Tash," Tony muttered around a screwdriver. He'd stripped a tablet down and was working on rebuilding it better. Modern tech was his forte, and he made sure to keep up on all the latest and greatest bits.

"Dinner will be ready shortly," she said, moving over to investigate what he was working on. She flicked her gaze to Zee and back, then quirked one eyebrow at Tony. Was he staying for dinner?

"Right, dinner, okay, fine," Tony said, moving some tablet-guts around. He glanced up at her just in time to catch the Look. He then looked at Zee. "Feel like staying? Clint's turn to help cook tonight, should be pretty good."

Zee shrugged after a moment. "Might as well," he agreed. He had caught the Look too, but he didn't mind.

Natasha nodded and went to set another place for Zee.

Tony watched her go and then turned his attention back to the bits of tablet in front of him. He already had an idea of how to improve it.

Zee just watched him, keeping track of what he was doing. He couldn't MacGyver things like Tony could, not with the newest technology, but he could at least follow what Tony was doing.

Tony muttered a bit under his breath as he worked, soldering some things together and riveting other things, until he had a thick sheet of glass encased in a metal frame. The frame was wider on one side, to house all the circuits and such, but it was all enclosed. He pushed a button and waited to see if it would work. When the glass lit up, he grinned.

"Ha, got it," he said as graphics appeared on the screen.

Zee snorted. "I'd say you have too much fun with that, but I would too," he said, shaking his head.

Tony nodded and poked at the new transparent tablet a bit more before holding it out.

"Want to try?"
