Inari smiled, "Want to get ready at my place? We can talk and hang out while we're getting ready. I use a lot of make up for missions since no one has really seen my face. So I have most make ups at my apartment. As for your hair, I think it would look cute maybe down and curly, It's not something I've seen you wear before, but I think it would look good on you, or maybe wear it with the bangs back?" Smiling she took anther drink of her coffee as she walked beside the younger.


Shikamaru looked wide eyed, "I've never thought to ask her what her favorite flower was.... Do you know Inari's? I rember one day she said she doesn't really have a favorite, she loves them all, just that she likes the meaning behind them the most.... She said she loves forget-me-nots paired with other flowers that have meaning." He rubbed the back of his neck, "Do you know Alara's? I'm sure it's something unique, like her." He slightly blushed at this. "I mean, it's just.... Troublesome." He said to embarrassed to actually say she meant something to him.


As she kissed him Itachi squeezed her slightly and moved to go sit in the chair again. "It smells delicous my love." He smiled and watched her again, "I feel like a different person around you." He smiled wider, "It's like you complete me my love." Watching to see how she reacted before he would say anymore. He really wanted to tell her how mmuch he loved her.

"Oh that's a good idea, we have a little over an hour to get ready, and we can drink our coffee along the way" Alara was happy for the caffeine, she would always welcome it, unless she needed to be moody for something. Alara followed Inari to her place talking about how her hair should be done "Do you think Shika would like my hair wavy?" she asked adding "I know Kakashi is going to love your hair when I'm done with you"

"I have been on a mission with Alara before, we passed all kinds of flowers yet she showed no sign of interest in them. You know how much she likes different plants, so at another time I started to look into it wondering 'She had to have one she liked more' I never thought it would be as simple as that though." Kakashi spoke adding "Her favorite as I have been told by her, herself is the Blue Moon rose. The blue moon rose meaning is a statement. If you truly believe you love someone, give them the blue moon rose for it signifies true and eternal love that never ends. Or so that is how Alara described it. It is actually rare around the Leaf Village and not many people seem to carry or breed it." Kakashi spoke looking up at the sky as they walked.

Setting the plates down with the drinks, she walked over to him then smiled "You are mine, mine to love and hold, and I will never let you go. I don't care what anyone says and I love how we can be ourselves around each other without disapproving eyes or judging ones" she wrapped her arms around his waist snuggling more into him. She was so excited for tonight "You're only here for tonight, so let's make it worth wild" Sakura had a gleam in her eye like she was up to something, but also really excited.

Inari chuckled then took a sip of her coffee on the stairs before her apartment. "I think Shika would like you no matter what you wear... Honestly if you see the way he looks at you." Unlocking her apartment she turned to Alara, "He looks at you like you're the most beautiful thing he's seen." Smirking she took off her boots and entered the apartment, "However, i think you would look good with wavey hair." Smiling big she closed the door behind them, "I have all my makeup and stuff in my room on the vanity, " She said as the started walking that way.


Shikamaru looked up at the sky sighing, "Do you think Ino's family has one at their flower shop?" He asked scratching the back of his neck. "We have many rose bushes of all kinds in the greenhouse, since they are my mom's favorite... We could check there and maybe you could get some flowers for Inari." He shrugged not knowing what Kakashi would think. Shikamaru never really hung out with team 7 much less with their sensei, but kakashi was starting to seem like an interesting friend to have.


Itachi chuckled and hugged her back, "What do you have in mind my love? Also, maybe we should eat before partaking in any act you have planned." He chuckled again and pulled her to sit into his lap, getting a bite on the fork he held it up to Sakura's mouth to feed her.

(if this is small, forgive me, im in a down sort of mood, fb says most of it)

Alara smiled playing with her hair as she took her shoes off and followed Inari into her room "You first" Alara smiled looking at the make up and remembering how to do make up for a special event. She started with Inari's make up and slowly worked towards her hair "So how do you want this?"

"Actually, I do believe I have one at the house, if you want we can go pick it up, but I already have a flower in mind for Inari now that I think about it" Kakashi spoke realizing that you really shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, Kakashi used to think Shikamaru was really lazy, and quiet. Though lately he had proven him wrong on that account.

Sakura smiled when he spoke to her and when she got pulled to his lap she "Eeeep" Sakura took a bite of the food being content with Itachi right at this moment.

(oh and i dont know what else to post with sakura/itachi so im just going to leave them out of the next post until its time for the festival)

Inari smiled and shrugged her shoulders, "Maybe like how you said with the braid in my bangs,, it sounds super cute." Smiling she ran a hand through her hair, "Want me to do yours after you do mine?" She asked trying to keep her excitement in check.
Shikamaru smiled and nodded his head, "We should head over there soon, the girls will probably be ready soon. I bet they are at Inari's since she seems to like Alara. Or at least what I've noticed." He rubbed the back of his neck and gave an awkward smile. He started to head back to where they came from.

(Going to just leave them oout for the same reason.. Sorry so short, ipad's about to die and have to go run errands, shoot me a text if you want)

Alara nodded "Alright then and yes, it would be most helpful, I'm not very good at doing my hair unless its quite simple" humming as she worked with the girl's hair brushing it out first and then she braided her bangs the way she spoke about. "So are you going to kiss him tonight or let him kiss you?" Alara asked smiling a bit, she was only teasing.

"Alright, come on, Alara told me how to preserve them though she doesn't know I have them. So surprising her would probably be a good thing" Kakashi lead Shikamaru through the streets to his place and then unlocked the door going to his kitchen where he kept them in the freezer. Taking them out he turned handing them to Shikamaru "Here you go, I only have one, it was really hard to get this one as it was. I already have an idea for Inari's" Kakashi spoke.

"Awesome, I love doing other's hair!" She replied giddily. Smiling wide she listened to Alara humming, "What song is that?" She asked curiously. Her smile faltered slightly and she was glad the masked covered her face, "I honestly don't know. I was kind of thinking letting destiny take care of it." She paused for a moment then plastered her big smile on her face again, "Are you going to kiss Shikamaru? OH!! Are you going to ask him out or wait and see if he asks you out?" She questioined the girl as she checked herself out in the mirror.
Shikamaru fallowed Kakashi and was surprised when he said that he tried so hard to get one, "Do you mind me asking why you got one?" He asked rubbing the back of his neck, "Most people wouldn't tried unless they were close to the other." Looking away and blushing he rubbed the back of his neck again, "Sorry for the troublesome questions. Ah. I have one more... What flower are you getting for Inari?"

"I'm not sure, I just always remembered hearing it when I was little, I don't have siblings, but I did have someone who took me after a young age. I believe they're the one who taught me that lullaby. Hm...oh yea" Alara thinks for a moment after switching seats with Inari since time was getting thinner for them, she finished braiding the girl's hair and making it look nice as well as doing her make up lightly. Alara went back to humming closing her eyes... Lullaby

"I figured one day you would speak up to Alara and say what you really wanted to tell her from your heart. A lot of people have noticed how you two look at each other besides the both of you it seems. So I figured it would be best to hold onto it until that day or it could be a birthday gift from you to her" Kakashi shrugged which was the real reason in which he tried so hard to get it, he wanted to make the younger ninja smile, she always wanted to train with himself, or even just be around him. Almost like the child he never had, so he sort of watched out for her like his own child, and that's where the sentiment had come from. "Either the Savlia red meaning "Forever Mine" or the red tulip which stands for "Declaration of love" I haven't fully thought about it yet" Kakashi spoke honestly.

Inari smiled as she sung the song, starting on her makeup, she didn't put a lot, seeing how Alara didn't need a lot to enhance her beauty. After a while she finished the makeup and started on her hair, as Alara stopped singing she smiled "You sing very pretty... Do you want me to curl your hair, or make it wavy?" Looking at her "tools" for hair she smiled awaiting an answer, "The guys will probably pick us up soon but I promise your hair will be done before they come." Inari was always fast at makeup and hair, seeing how she was normally in a rush when she had to use them on a mission..
Shikamaru listened, smiling at the older as he blushed, "I... I didn't know she felt the same until recently." He blushed full on now, "How troublesome." He grumbled making sure no one he knew could see him blush. Looking around the apartment he realized something, Kakashi had yet to read the orange book he normally did. "You must really love her, not pulling your book out... It's surprising! I mean not that it's bad." He almost had the urge to facepalm. He normally didn't talk much but recently he feels closer to Kakashi, "Savlia red sounds like it has more meaning, but if you don't feel like she will be forever yours I'd go with the red tulip... Maybe save Savlia for a purpose." He winked and chuckled.

"oooh wavy will be cute" Alara smiled trying not to fall asleep since it felt so relaxing then thought for a moment "How will they know we're here?" she waited until her hair was finished before moving any bit, she tried to stay as still as she could. "I love to sing, but I am so shy in front of people, and can only do it if I close my eyes"

Kakashi smiled nodding "Alright, well you'll have to gather the courage to give it to her as well, shall we go pick up the girls now?" kakashi asked.

"I think so too!" Inari started making the waves in the hair and smiled all the while, "Well I don't really know but they are together and I live closer to Kakashi's apartment so they would probably come here first. I was just making assumptions. "Well I love your voice. Now into our Kimono's we go!" She almost squealed like a girl as she put on her own Kimono.

"I think I will have the courage." Shikamaru smiled and held the flower delicately in his hand as he followed Kakashi. "So we're picking up Inari first?" He asked curiously...

Alara's face turned slightly red "I don't really like to sing in front of others, I'm shy in that way" but when it would come down to fighting or protecting those she cared about, well she was a totally different person. Alara loved the way her hair looked as she jumped up quickly putting hers up and even though she loved how long it was, she also loved how, if needed, she could turn it into a shorter one. "Ah, yours is so cute" in other words she called Inari elegant, 'cute' was her average word to use.

~ ~ ~

"Yes, she is closer to my place, and will you have the courage if you both are alone? or are you going to confess in a crowd?" Kakashi raised a brow knowing he would make sure the two of them would be alone without any watching eyes, not like others would watch the two masked ninjas. Kakashi made it to Inari's door knocking on it waiting for it to open or a response.

"You should sing more often, you have a beautiful voice." Smiling she looked over Alara, "Well you look amazing yourself." She giggled and spun around a little looking in the mirror. Hearing the knock and motioned for Alara to follow. As she opened the door a huge smile graced her face and she imidiantly hugged Kakashi, as she got to excited to contain the energy she got. Blushing she let go and backed up rubbing the back of her neck embarrassed. "Hello Ashi-san," She turned to Shikamaru, "Hello Shikamaru." She looked over at Alara as she saw Shikamaru had a blush on his face as he stared at Alara.


"I'm thinking in a quiet place, at least somewhere not to crowded." He replied to Kakashi. As soon as he knocked he knew Alara was in the apartment, he picked up on her chakra pretty quickly. As the door opened there was about a second of awkwardness then Inari all but glomped Kakashi. It was pretty awkward for him but as he saw Alara he blushed at her, she looked stunning. When Inari said hello he waved awkwardly.

"Ashi, that's cute" Alara quitely laughed in Inari's ear and smiled at Shikamaru "Hi Shika, um are we ready to go?" Alara was acting shy at the moment, but once the festival would start then that would change things. Alara watched as the others would say something as she stood by Shikamaru.

Kakashi smiled though the mask masked his expression as he said "Are you two lovely ladies ready to go?" Kakashi asked seeing Alara nod to his question. He had recovered from being glomped almost by Inari now as he held his hand out to her for her to take.

Inari blushed even more and nodded her head at the question. Smiling she motioned for Alara to go before her, so she could close and lock the door. "Doesn't she look marvelous?" She asked Shikamaru, knowing it would make him turn red. After Alara exited the apartment she closed the door and locked it turning to Kakashi, unsure what to do.
Shikamaru indeed turned red at Inari's statement. Pulling out his hand from behind his back he showed off his flower. "This is troublesome, I don't really know when to give this to you... But I heard it was your favorite and Kakashi-sensei helped me get it.... and I'm not the best with plants so I wanted to give it to you before it wilted or something." He was looking off to the side, face completely red as he bit his lip. In the background he could hear Inari say "Awww" or something to that effect, but his full attention was on the one he liked.

Alara saw the flower as her eyes lit up, even if Kakashi was the one to help get it, it was super hard to find, and a very rare flower. She had the silver roses all over her room, but she didn't have the one she loved to no end. Not only was the meaning of it heartful, but the flower itself was just as beautiful. Alara smiled touching the flower's stem putting it closer to her hair as it wrapped throughout the top of her hair so it would sit just on the side a bit. For a moment she was silent, that was until the energy rose up in her, and she smiled kissing Shikamaru on the cheek then hugged him quickly "Thank you!" her happiness showed through her hug.

Kakashi smiled watching the two younger love birds and took Inari's hand so that they could walk in front of them giving them a moment. "So, what would you like to do first?" Kakashi asked Inari as he walked hand in hand with her. Kakashi snuck the flower he had for Inari in her hair above her ear to where it would stay "You look amazing by the way, Inari" Kakashi smiled at her.

Sakura had kept her Kimono on and when the time would come, since they both fell asleep on the couch as a nap took place after they ate, Sakura woke gently to her wrapped in his arms. "Ita-san, come on the festival will start soon" though she didn't mind if they went together or if they stayed here.

Shikamaru turned red and hugged her back smiling, "I'm glad you like it." As she pulled away to put the flower in her hair he interlaced his hand into hers as they fell back to the side, noticing Kakashi and Inari walking slowly ahead of them. "You really look amazing." He smiled at her and showed the way before them. "Is there anything specific you want to do at the festival?" He questioned, with thoughts of when would be a good time to ask her out.


Inari smiled as their hands interlaced, blushing as he put the flower in her hair. Giving a peck on his cheek she beamed, "Thank you so much! The meaning of it.. it's just..." She blushed red and looked the opposite way,"So is it your declaration to me or did you just know I like tulips?" She was completely embarrassed having to ask. She looked back at him, knowing he could see her face was red. "And umm... I don't really know what's going on in the festival." She said honestly.


Itachi slowly woke up and smiled, kissing his love on the cheek. Moving to sit up, making Sakura sit in his lap, he chuckled. "Alright my love, what would you like to do first at the festival?" He asked as he grabbed the generic mask off the back of the couch, placing it on his face then moved it to the side so he could peck Sakura on the lips before placing it back on. If anyone would look at him, he looked like a normal leaf village citizen.

Alara was happy he hadn't paid too much attention to how she interlocked it within her hair. She thought for a moment "oooh games, I love games" now the childish side of Alara shown through and through once more as her everyday self. Alara couldn't wait to see the moon out tonight, she knew it would be a full moon, and there was something special about it that would make it rare.

"Well, we'll have to wait, and see for the reason I gave you that flower. Though as far as the festival goes, there are games, like Alara mentioned, pictures, food booths, gift booths, and even rides" Kakashi had the idea to ask Inari out officially on the ferris wheel rather than something...well it was better in his mind.

~ ~ ~

"Let's just walk and see the sights, no one is going to be on high patrol tonight, and I know Lady Tsunade is staying with assistant in the office drinking sake mostly. So even if we walk on the outer wall, no one would notice either" Sakura couldn't wait to enjoy the night as she would lead the way there. "Should I keep calling you Ita-kun?" Sakura asked thinking it didn't give the name away.

Shikamaru chuckled and started walking forward, keeping his hand in hers. "Alright, lets go then. I bet we can get you a lot of prizes if we try hard enough!" For some reason it wasn't troublesome like he thought it would be. Looking back at her he smiled widely, "But no using ninja skills, we have to do it fair and square! Ino and Sakura are so troublesome and usually try and cheat." He shook his head at the memory and smiled at her again, relishing in the fact their hands were touching.


Inari smiled and skipped for a second. Smiling widely she looked at Kakashi with big eyes. "We have to go on the rides but first lets play some games, and maybe take pictures. That way I can remember this day for forever." She kind of mumbled at the end, getting embarrassed that she was so excited to be with him. She just couldn't control her excitement around him... In more ways than one. Looking up at him she blushed.


Itachi tilted his head to the side, "I'll follow you wherever you go." He said, smiling behind the mask, "And I think we should give me a code name... Have any in mind my love?" He questioned as he moved them towards the door, pausing for an answer.

"Oh I heard Ino was going with Choji this year" she remembered off the top of her head as she walked casually like she always had "Oh don't worry we won't use our uh ninja skills' she didn't need skills to win games, not ninja ones at least, and all she needed to do was be herself.

Getting to the festival as Kakashi listened to Inari watching her beautiful eyes and almost walking into a light pole which made Alara snicker, they finally made it. Kakashi didn't realize how nervous he was until now, since this was when the festival would start, and lots of people were around them. This might be harder than he thought.

Walking out of the door locking it, she thought for a moment "The only thing I can come up with is Ita or Tachi, Tachi wouldn't be your name name, but I guess it wouldn't do too well" She thought for a moment more...

Shikamaru smiled and gently squeezed her hand, "Yea, I think their a thing, but it's to troublesome to actually figure out. They haven't really told me anything." Shrugging his shoulders he smiled, "Yea, I didn't actually think you would, just had to throw it out there though." he looked up at Kakashi and Inari and smiled at the couple.

Inari didn't really notice when Kakashi almost ran into a pole, because the festival appeared in her eyes, Inari jumped up and down slightly as she looked at the festival, "AH! This is so awesome!" she said looking at Kakashi. "Oh look, the games are just over there! I think I see a fluffy butterfly as a prize!" Her excitement almost made her seem childish. Blushing as she noticed she rubbed the back of her neck. "I mean... That would be a really cool prize." Her face was red now.

Itachi wrapped his arms around her waist, hugging her. "What about..." He strung it out a while, "why not just call me Hideki, it's a pretty popular name I believe. At least I hear it a lot." He chuckled, it definitely wasn't close to Itachi's real name.

Alara smiled as they walked leading Shikamaru over to a game where you knock the bottles down with a ball, obviously it was rigged to make it really hard to win. Seeing a large stuffed bear prize she eyed it, bears and cats were her favorite stuffed animals, and she wondered if she could win the game or not. Something in the background caught her attention.

Kakashi smiled sheepishly hoping she hadn't almost seen that leading her over to where the game was. If Inari wanted the butterfly then he would get it for her. It couldn't be too hard to throw a ring around the top part of a bottle five times, could it? Kakashi paid for a few rings "Come on" Kakashi smiled handing some to her so that she could try as well. He tossed a ring watching it spin falling right around the top of the bottle. 'One down, four to go' he thought to himself thinking this was too easy, but when he went to toss the second one it didn't fall on it like the last one did.

Sakura nodded "Alright then Hideki, let's join the celebration" Taking his hand she walked into the festival with him hoping no one would notice, she played a few games with him, and after a bit she had relaxed more. Nervous that he could be caught at any time, Sakura changed her thoughts to when they took a nap this morning.

Shikamaru was happily lead by Alara, which didn't bother him one bit. Noticing her staring at the big bear he smiled at her, "Would you like to try for the bear?" He paused when he noticed her staring at something else, "What have you noticed Alara?" He asked trying to see what she was seeing.
Inari jumped excitedly watching Kakashi throw the rings on the bottles. Smiling she leaned over on her tip toes and whispered in his ear, "The secret is that they grease the bottles before everyone comes to make it harder." She kissed his cheek and stood back up straight, "I know you can do it Kashi-kun." She smiled at him brightly as she watched him again.
Itachi bought more tickets than they really needed, but he wanted his little blossom to have whatever her heart desired. Smiling behind the mask he pointed to the spinning eight arm "roller coaster" that was called the Octopus, he knew she would end up squished against him as it spun around.

Then something caught her attention in the background hearing some kids about how they wanted the large kitten stuffed toy. They weren't able to get it because they weren't strong enough to do so.

Putting money on the counter she asked for three balls. The first time she didn't hit it hard enough, the second time she had missed it, and when she tried the third time she failed. Why was it so hard? Then again she wasn't trying to put much towards it and asked for three balls. Just taking her time into the first throw she waited focusing her strength on going straight for the bottles, leaning back a bit she then flung forward throwing it into the set (which apparently was glued together) and it looked like it tapped them, sadly still standing. Getting annoyed with the game she forced her energy back into her arm and threw it so hard that it knocked over all three bottles shattering them.

She wanted the stuffed bear, but her heart knew it would be wrong to accept a toy when the children couldn't even try to get theirs. "Give me the cat" he gave her the cat not sure if he felt safe around her and she walked over to the children "Here you go, have fun" she smiled standing back up again walking back over to Shikamaru not thiking she did anything special "Ready?" she smiled.

Kakashi felt himself smile when she kissed him on the cheek then aimed the ring just right tossing it onto the bottle top. Doing the same for the others he asked for the "Butterfly" and smiled handing it to Inari "This is for you" he whispered to her then returned the kiss on the cheek to her "Do you want to keep playing games or go on rides?" he asked allowing her to choose, he would make this night about her, but would help decide if that is what she wanted.

"I love coaster rides, Ino and I would always go on them together" though they used to make Sasuke get on them too, but she had a different mind about the younger Uchiha now than she ever did. "Come on" she pulled him along to the ride as they got on and strapped in, even if they fell out they would be able to catch themselves, good thing about being a ninja. Sakura felt herself being giddy ready for the ride to start. She sat on the outside and made him sit on the inside.

Shikamaru watched closely as she tried but failed. Honestly Shikamaru thought to himself how wrong it was that they glued the bottles down. After the first attempt with three balls failed he watched her put down the money to try again. As she finally won she asked for the kitten one and it confused him at first as he watched her give it to a pair of children that couldn't get it themselves. When she came up to him he smiled brightly, "Would you mind if I tried to get you a bear the next game we play? There is a basketball one that I'm pretty good at just over there." He pointed for her to see. He really wanted to get her a bear.


Inari watched happily and smiled brightly as she heard him choose the butterfly. As he gave her a kiss on the cheek she blushed deeply and nodded towards the rides, "There are a lot of cool looking rides, would you mind going on some with me? There is this one called The Octopus and it seems so fun! I personally like spinning rides but I'd go on any ride with you if you wanted to." This statement turned her whole face red, making her look off to the side where the rides were.


Itachi smiled as his blossom got excited about the rides, being pulled along made him chuckle slightly. Once on the ride it slowly moved as the other carts got filled with people. Slowly the ride spun lifting the carts in the air and bringing the back down to the ground at a safe distance. Soon it started spinning faster, making Sakura fly into him. Chuckling he wrapped his arm around her and waited for the ride to stop.
