"Caramel and Almond Joy?" He shrugged. "Okay, if you want." He set about making the drink for her.

Chastity grinned a bit.

"Hey, it'll taste like the Caramel Delight Girl Scout Cookie," she pointed out. "With almond in it."

"This is true," he said. "I could just do the cookie flavor, though." But it didn't take him long to finish up her drink and hand it over.

"There's no doubt in my mind that you could," Chastity said, taking the drink. She took a sip. "Ooh, this is interesting. A good kind of interesting."

He grinned. "Well, as long as it's a good kind of interesting," he said amiably.

Steve managed to pay for hers and leave a tip, grinning briefly at the barista again. "Thanks."

"My pleasure. Enjoy."

Chastity looked at Steve.

"You didn't have to may for mine," she said. "It's not a problem, I could have gotten it."

"I wanted to this time," Steve said with a bit of a grin. "But if you want, next time I'll let you pay for mine." He didn't mind, after all. Plus his was cheap.

"I'll hold you to it," Chastity said, smiling at him. She grabbed a table near the window and sat down.

Steve just smiled and sat across from her, relaxed.

"So do you want to place another order or wait and see how that one holds up for a few days?" he asked, nodding to the amulet.

"Let me test this one out for now," Chastity said, taking the amulet out of her pocket and running her fingers over it again. "It's already working, I can tell, but I want to see how it holds up."

"Sure." Steve smiled a bit. "Not a problem." He took another sip of his coffee.

"Your friend is good," Chastity said after a moment. "The workmanship on this is wonderful, and the magic is good. He could probably make a lot of money off of these, if he wanted."

"I'll let him know," Steve said. He was pretty sure Bucky would like that. "Maybe he can put up ads somewhere."

"Might not be a bad idea," Chastity said. "Does he have a license to sell?" Most gifted people got a license to sell as a matter of course, even if they didn't actively plan to sell anything, but some people did pass on it. Only the gifted people needed a license; it ensured that they wouldn't sell anything malicious or generally bad quality.

"Not at the moment, I don't think," Steve said, shaking his head. "I think he'll look into it now if he's going to actually be selling things."

Chastity nodded.

"He should," she said. "I think he'd make a lot of money off the amulets, if they work for a while."

"I'll let him know." Steve smiled. "That'll be good for him, too. He's had a bit of a harder time settling in again."

Chastity nodded again.

"Most professors don't mind having someone sit and observe classes," she suggested. "Maybe one of the mentors in the machine shop wouldn't mind?"

Steve grinned a bit. "I'll suggest that to him too. I keep telling him to go on campus and see if he can get involved in some classes or at least some workshops."

Chastity shrugged.

"As far as I know, enrollment is open," she said. "All the time. He doesn't have to go full-time, either."

"I know. And the Army will still pay for it at this point." Steve sighed. "I just need to convince him."

"Maybe sitting in on classes will help," Chastity suggested. "He can sit in on the machine shop, or I think there's a forge on the far end of campus."

"Right." Steve shook his head. "Well, I'll see what I can do to convince him. Maybe next week he'll go. I know he won't go tomorrow or Friday because it's the end of the week." He rolled his eyes at Bucky.

Chastity grinned.

"Let me know if it works, then," she said. "And I'll let you know how well this amulet turns out."

"Sounds good." Steve grinned. "I'll keep you updated. I know there's a girl he's been talking to, so maybe if I can get her information I can get her to help."
