"Two hours," Bruce said before Tony could come up with any sort of exaggeration. Tony just pouted at the Beta.

"Oh good, we've got a little bit then." Sim grinned briefly and settled in. "You better sit before the plane takes off and you fall on your butt," she said to Tony. "I will laugh at you."

Tony snorted.

"Never going to happen," he said. "I've done things on planes that would make your head spin, I won't fall over when it starts moving, guaranteed."

"Pride goeth," Sim sing-songed, watching him as the jet started to move. "And you don't really know what would make my head spin, so you can't say anything."

Tony just braced himself subtly as the jet began to move.

"And you have no idea what I've managed to do on a jet," he pointed out in return with a slight smirk.

"I can guess," Sim said dryly. "I'm quite sure you've been drunk on here before." Which she didn't much like, but it wasn't her place yet to see what she could do about his destructive habits.

"Probably," Tony said easily. He knew very well exactly how many times he'd been drunk on the jet, but he wasn't about to say it outright. Bruce just sighed slightly. He was working on that problem.

Sim shrugged. Eh. Oh well. She waited until they'd evened out to pour coffee for Tony and hand it to him.

"There, more coffee."

"You're amazing," Tony said, reaching over for the coffee. He stumbled just slightly when the plane really took off, but he didn't fall.

"Tony, at least wait until we reach altitude," Bruce chided.

Sim snickered. "You can sit here, I mean, you've only got couches on your private plane," she said, rolling her eyes. "I'm not actually taking up the whole thing."

"There are couches because there used to be a pole," Tony said with a bit of a grin as he grabbed the container of coffee and plopped down next to her.

"...That sounds like one of the things that I'm suddenly really curious but I have the feeling I don't want to know," Sim said, looking at him.

"It's pretty much exactly what it sounds like," Bruce said with a slightly put-upon sigh.

"It was a party jet, what can I say?" Tony asked, taking a sip of coffee. He paused when he realized exactly what had just happened, and he looked at his hands as if he'd never seen them before.

Sim snorted. "Sounds like the you the media likes to portray, when they're not giving you horns and fangs," she said easily, stretching out just a bit and then moving so her legs were on the couch and just barely touching Tony.

"Gotta give 'em what they want," Tony replied with a shrug. "Could be worse."

"They haven't been so bad lately, though," Bruce commented.

"Only because we're superheroes now," Tony pointed out. "All upstanding and virtuous, or something like that."

"Yeah, it would be worse for them to try that kind of thing with you now, they'd get in trouble over it," Sim said with a shrug. "Their ratings would go down, and since they all live for a profit and a good juicy story..."

"Exactly," Tony said, smirking. Bruce just rolled his eyes.

"Not that the media doesn't get enough to use as it is," he pointed out. "What was it last week? There was an article about whether or not Thor needs proper immigration paperwork, being a literal alien." Tony snickered.

"Yeah, that one was good," he said.

Sim snorted at that. "I think he'd be very confused by the paperwork. Coulson would have to do it all for him." She paused. "Then again, that could be highly entertaining..."

Tony couldn't help but snicker more.

"That would be hysterical," he said. "We should totally try to talk Coulson into that, I bet Agent Agent would get a kick out of it. Barton, Barton can help us talk Coulson into it."

"I can totally bribe or talk Barton into it," Sim agreed. "He likes cookies, I can bake many cookies." She grinned widely. Oh this would be fun.

"Phil won't go for it," Bruce pointed out, watching the two. Oh yes, they were definitely suited for one another. That was good, even while it was so very bad. "No matter how many cookies you manage to bribe Clint with."

"Probably true," Sim agreed with a sigh. "But it's fun to think about, anyway." She grinned and poured Bruce some tea, leaning over to hand it over to him.

Bruce accepted the tea with a small smile.

"Thank you," he said. He took a sip and settled back with a soft sigh.

Sim grinned and settled back in her seat.

"You know, this is a pretty spectacular apology," she commented. "I almost feel like you should get in trouble more often."

"No, I absolutely do not need to get in trouble more often, I owe Pepper enough shoes as it is, I don't need to owe anything else," Tony said. Bruce raised an eyebrow at him, and he paused. "Though I'm not against making a habit of taking off once in a while."
